Burgers were delicious. Server was busy but friendly and efficient. Restaurant could use a thorough cleaning. Nice outdoor, casual experience.
Unfortunately I think there was some animosity between the staff plus the staff that was there seemed to be minimal. We waited over 15 minutes before someone acknowledged we were there and finally sad us. Our waitress was wonderful but she was slammed with so many tables that it took her another 15 minutes to come service. We were seated right near the kitchen and heard multiple staff swearing in the back. The food was good my drink was not I only took two sips of it and didn't get an opportunity to speak to the waitress about the taste. We were given our bill and I just paid it so we could get out of there. It took a very long time for a simple Burger
Service can be hit or miss. Our waitress never finished checking me in on Open Table, so after 2 days, I ended up going back to ask what the issue was...someone finally finished my check-in...after giving me a hard time. The servers don't know the WiFi password...so that is also not very good customer service. Their Fajita Steak salad though, is always wonderful and delicious...
The food was great and although the waitress was working alone she was fantastic
Excellent burgers and the bacon infused vodka bloody Mary was the best thing ever!
Unfortunately there was no hostess and they were very short on staff. I had made a reservation and when we arrived we still had to wait at least 20 minutes before even letting someone know we had a reservation. Waitress was very nice but more staff was needed.
It’s a great place for a gourmet burger and beer. Nice atmosphere and friendly service
amazing create your own burger spot; huge burgers for the price
Great food and service. From the look of it, you’d expect a run of the mill pub. The food really sets it apart. Also they are GF and vegetarian friendly. I’ll be back
I know it was mid day and a very quiet time but I did make an open table reservation. We stood in the door area no one around to greet us or seat us for several minutes. I asked the very nice waitress to please make sure we were checked in for open table. She was very nice. The food was good. Overall nothing special to make me want to pay $11 to park ...
The waitress was so accommodating and nice about one of our party with a shellfish allergy! Offered veggies in place of chips (she didn’t want them but it was still nice)
Good but expensive and service didn’t justify the expense.
Sevice was great. Food was good. Bathroom could have used a cleaning.
Food is really good... Burgers were tasty! Onion rings were outstanding! Service was blah.
Its some what hard there to find good service. The first time we went there our server threw napkins at us and then proceeded to ask us what we would like to eat by saying "what do you want" However last time we went the service was great ! Big change.
Burgers were just okay. Fries were average. Good selection and lots of variety but I have been too much better burger bar-type places.
Bugers were good but all were over cooked!
Wow, so they completely understaffed.
The cuisine is burgers....it's not complicated.
We were there for two hours. When they realized that something was really wrong with us the server stopped checking our table. In the end they took off some appetizers from the bill, but we would have liked our two hours back. We could have "had it our way" at the BK and been more satisfied.
Always love luxe. Been multiple times, always good. This time it was great. Had the cheddar cheese burger with onions and french fries. Not sure why sometimes its better than others, but this time it was great. I was a little disappointed to see every burger has gone up a dollar, and now tater tots or sweet potato fries are an extra charge. Too bad, I eat here a lot during the winter, usually before friar games, may have to try other places.
I liked the fact that we were not rushed. The food was hot when it was served and everything was cooked as ordered. The staff was friendly and very accomodating.
On a quick trip to Rhode Island, this place hit the spot. The "Build Your Own" Burger concept is great. The specialty burgers, especially the Pepe, were terrific. The food was prepared and presented nicely and the service was great. Everyone from the hostess to the waiter to the food runner was engaging and polite.
visiting providence, this looked good on line... even better in person... we all loved designing our own burgers and had a good time.
This is a wonderful restaurant if you want to bring your "canine" companion.Mine enjoyed it thoroughly with a healthy menu and great service available to him.
I was more than satisfied with my meal and that of my friend in terms of quality and value.
Love the burgers and all the choices, great beer selection
I've been to Luxe several times and can honeslty say the quality has gone down horribly. I went during restaurant week and had the worst grilled cheese of my life (which took 40 minutes to get). The bread was hardly toasted, the cheese wasn't melted and the tomato that was supposed to be in it wasn't. The service was awful. I will say the fries were delicious as was the milkshake. I paid $7.99 for something a five year old could have made considerably better. Would not recommend to anyone for any reason.
Everything was great!! We loved being able to pick all our toppings on our burgers it was great!!
Good, casual fare at reasonable prices. Relaxed atmosphere, attentve service. Lots of choices which should satisfy almost everyone. I highly recommend this restaurant.
I am coming back again, it was a bit expensive but it is a great place for a special occasion.
Burgers were just really yummy. At first the portions looked small, but our stomachs were bursting when we finished the burger, without a single fry consumed. Burgers were all cooked well and most of the table liked the "build your own burger" option. This is about the cheapest way to eat close to the Riverwalk. We will return and return often.
Great sandwiches, salad, fries and desserts. Sat outside and it was beautiful. Only complaint: Someone should tell Capital Grille though that their singer either needs to go or finds some music to sing that people under 70 have heard of!!
Food was a bit slow coming out of the kitchen. Our server was very attentive and aware of the kitchen delay. It was a busy night in the city...pride so the place was packed. Food was hot and came out exactly as ordered...definitely worth the wait.
The Buffalo wings were some of the worst I've ever had. They were greasy and not even remotely spicy. The burger didn't really have much flavor. All I could taste were the toppings. I was extremely disappointed.
Great burgers at a reasonable price... The ability to customize your burger (and even your fries) makes this a good experience for everyone...
Chose Luxe Burger due to proximity to Dunkin Donuts Center in Providence, & that it was relatively cheap compared to other nearby options. Also, not familiar w/area, so didn't want to venture to Atwells Ave., which seems to be a "restaurant row" of sorts. Kobe beef burgers we ordered were tasty, however, if go again, might try next grade down of beef, just to see what the big deal w/Kobe beef is. Didn't taste any different from what we cook @home. Choice of toppings is fun, but really, is it necessary to charge an extra $1 for what was probably a tblspn. of guacamole? Tasty, but not sure size of burger warranted $11.99 price. Martini tasting trio was very disappointing. Our waitress, however, was bright, cheery & efficient.
I "built" my burger and chose the YUMMIEST ingredients. I kept saying the whole time "oh my god, this is sooo good." I loved that there were 9 different categories to build the burger and so many delicious options. LOVED it. Can't wait to go back.
I've been here a few times, and usually it's very good. My only consistent complaint throughout every time is that the fries have been undercooked; a few even went limp as I picked them up. Normally, the burgers are very good. This last time though my burger was DRENCHED in dijon mustard. It was so overloaded I had actually had trouble finishing it. To top it off, the "caramelized" onions, we're just barely, I mean barely, browned. Very dissappointed.
Great burgers and great atmostphere, a little dark but very eye catching. The bar design was nice and the outside patio area has some cool fireplaces. Very modern and the burgers are amazing. Lots of options and we had a friend who was a vegetarian come to a Burger Bar with us lol He had the falaffle and said it was the best he had in a while. Great service and a great drink selection. I enjoyed the Kobe beef burger and the rest of the party also had nothing but good things to say about their burgers which he all hand crafted and built ourselves. Good times, defifinitely reccommend this to anyone in the downtown Providence area.
Good food and you can be very creative with your burger toppings. Boozy milkshakes are tasty as well.
My husband and I loved the location of this restaurant and the "Build Your Own Burger" feature on the menu. The burgers were delicious, but I wished the Buffalo Calamari was a little crunchier and less chewy (great flavor though). We sat outdoors - it was busy for a late afternoon lunch/early dinner on a Friday. This is somewhere we'll definitely return to!
