About Lusardi's Larchmont
For over 20 years Lusardis of Larchmont has been one of Westchester County's top restaurants for any kind of dining - be it casual to special occasion. The menu's homemade cuisine shows a Mediterranean leaning and a particular expertise with seafood, eclipsed perhaps only by the incredible homemade pastas. This kind of dining experience can really only consistently be found in Italy...or on Palmer Avenue in Larchmont. Lusardi's Larchmont Ratings and Reviews
St Valentines Day dinners are typically hectic and usually restaurants are at their worst - not Lusardi’s- it was busy but the staff was very friendly and helpful from the bartender to the busboy. The food was excellent and we had a great dinner ! As always it is the best restaurant, by far, in the area.
My family and I went to Lusardi's for my birthday. We had a positively, delightful evening. The service was impeccable. Our food was delicious. The staff was most engaging and catered to all of our needs. They even sang Happy Birthday with all of us to my wife. It has and continues to be a beautiful restaurant with consistently good service and great food. You actually feel as if you are at their home as opposed to being at their restaurant.
Lusardis in Larchmont has clearly gone downhill. It looks a bit shabby and I was disappointed that the portions have gotten smaller. I had not been there for 5 years, and having been a customer for the 15 prior years I was sadly disappointed. It was a Friday night, but they are used to crowds.
I am never disappointed when I come here. I am 1st generation Italian, so I grew up on home cooked Italian food. I like everything about this restaurant, the food is always good, service great, actual Italian staff is a big plus to me. Nice atmosphere. This is the place to go for a great Italian meal.
My husband had the fettucini ai porcini which was not too saucy . Very clean in a little olive oil, garlic and herbs. The mushrooms were small, roasted and very flavorful. Perfect!
I had the Rollatine Montanara, which was in a very delicious pink sauce.
Both meals were excellent.
the service was abominable. I asked 4 people for menus and it took 30 minutes to get them. our dinner was 2 1/2 hours for 4 people. tables around us who arrived after us were finished in 1/2 the time. at one point between main course and dessert, our waiter passed by and looked at our table about 5 times and never offered us the check or asked if we wanted dessert. our water glasses were never refilled. and the maitre d' was hanging out at the table right next to us for the whole meal, and never did anything to help the situation. awful!
This was our first time at Lusardi’s and although the ambiance and service were very good, the food was mediocre. Each of the pasta’s were very oily and fatty, so much that my teenage boys who love pasta did only eat a very small amount as they did not like the taste. The taste of the linguine with crabmeat was bland as well as the sauce for the spaghetti and meatballs. There are much better Italian restaurants in the area.
I have been to Lusardi's dozens and dozens of times. It was wonderful, then it slid to barely average, now its back to pretty good. It is always crowded as it is really the nicest local restaurant. Starters - eggplant, octopus, salad, soup, pasta and gnocchi all very good. Mains - fish, vitello martini (the favorite), chicken and pasta were also very good. Desserts I'm not crazy about I would prefer more gelato and sorbet flavors. Italian cheesecake was not my favorite. Chocolate cake was a winner as was the apple tart.
