Absolutely love lure! Has amazing food and a variety menu so everyone is happy. Also the staff is trained very well, excellent service. Would recommend for all occasions, it is a little pricey tho but doesn’t matter
But Very expensive....
It’s very good place , always clean , and food is good kids love it but this time our service was slow and not kid friendly, which is rare cause always all the servers are very sweet and nice
I took my wife here for her birthday. The venue was perfect and the food was excellent. Easy to have a conversation where we were sitting. Would strongly recommend.
Jacob was terrific and the food spectacular. Had the salmon Great service and atmosphere
Great bar service; food was good; service was OK; seated in back room though (even though I requested a booth several weeks in advance); seated 40 mins after our reservation
Great time as usual!!!
We sat at the Sushi bar and truly enjoyed the experience. My niece and I were treated like valued guests. We were truly entertained watching the sushi chefs create their specialties and they explained to us what everything was. We enjoyed the knowledge and the beauty of their work. We will certainly return next time we are in the city.
Came for our 6 year wedding anniversary. It was a perfect night. Great food great mood!
Amazingly fresh and innovative fish and other dishes. Servings almost too large to finish! Lovely atmosphere. I've waited 20 years to try Lure and I'm sorry I did. I'll be back soon!
love Lure...but be careful, my guest ordered an iced tea, I ordered a seltzer and received a $10 bottle of VOSS sparkling water...which I took home with me just because that is ridiculous. not sure i would have rather been charged $5 for one seltzer but the server should ask.
other than that LURE is consistently delicious
Everyone loved their food but it is pricey for the portions. That said, the experience was fun and we had a great server. Very happy!
Bartender wasn’t nice or very good.
It took way too long to get our food. We were sitting for over an hour and a half and had only had our appetizers.
Each of the dishes we ordered were outstanding. The edamame was fresh and seasoned beautifully, the shrimp tempera was delicious and quite unusual with the spicy sesame mayo. The lobster bisque was delicious as was the California roll.
Longtime fan of this restaurant. If you love seafood and amazing sushi Lure is the place for you in you. Elegant décor and the nicest waitstaff in Soho! 10/10
If you want to be cold like the fish they serve here, this is the perfect restaurant. The overbearing air conditioning will preserve you until the next sucker comes along. Take a pass on what used to be a charming and lively restaurant and now has become a sad mockery of itself. Essentially eating at Lure is like eating at an upscale TGIFs that is focused on fish. Ugh.
Great local Soho place for lunch or drinks or late night dinner. Large menu, healthy food and deep wine list.
Food was unbelievably great. King crab california roll was so amazing and fresh, like nothing I've tasted before. Service and ambiance was also great for fun night out with my wife
Great food and service!
Phenomenal! It was an engagement dinner and the service was exceptional. From a complimentary appetizer and champagne to helping execute the surprise they were great. The table they gave us was amazing and I really appreciated how they made a special night even more special beyond my wildest dreams. Thanks Lure Fishbar!!
Food and bar service quality was very good.
Generous portions and excellent service!
The staff were very nice and attentive. The food was very good. The wine was excellent. However, the room was excruciatingly loud, making it almost impossible to have a conversation with the person sitting next to me.
Lure New York is one of my favorites. The service is great; I was meeting a friend, I was first to arrive and was seated right away-none of this offensive "Your whole party must be here to be seated." We both ordered the Restaurant Week menu which was easily enough for two people ( we both brought half our food home) and it was delicious. I had the tuna for a main course and it was just fantastic. The restaurant is immaculate and while pricey, worth every cent.
I must say the food is always 10/10 so when I requested the chips...my ABSOLUTE favorite chips, and they arrived at the table I was so excited. I took a bite and the chip was totally mushy and chewy. We called the server over and he stated they were made in the morning and that the whole batch must be bad.
I was very disappointed to hear this, it also felt like untruthful and he was annoyed we commented about it.
I’ve been to Lure dozens of times...the chips have always been fresh.
I knew I was in for a disappointment when I walked in the door. The interior of the restaurant looks like the kitschy seafood restaurants on City Island with bad discoesque music playing in the background. I arrived for late lunch and was told the restaurant week menu wasn’t an option. I should have left, but ordered a bowl of clam chowder which was more like a cup for $20 after tip. What a ripoff.
We had our first date at Lure 6 years ago and it’s still the best ever!!!! Amazing food and service. Little loud but it was a Thursday night ;)
One of the best seafood restaurants I have ever had the pleasure, top notch in all aspects
Some dishes were very good but others didn’t make the mark. The restaurant is outdated and in need of a renovation. They’re stuck in the 80s. Wouldn’t go back
It was my first time to Lure and it was restaurant week. I found the entire experience from start to finish to be fantastic! Great value and excellent service! Thank you and I will be back.
Food and drinks were great! Service wasn’t bad, but could be a little more attentive. Had to wait longer than usual for our waiter to come around several times.
Great food, atmosphere and service
Love this place :)
So, I usually come here for restaurant week, almost every restaurant week, and while I know I'm not the typical patron, I had a very disappointing experience. The worst experience I've ever had there. I had a reservation for two on Wed July 31, 2019 at 6:15 pm. We were seated at table 42/1 and our server was Jacob K. (Chk 2831, Receipt time 6:31 pm)
I ordered off of the RW menu and my partner just ordered Sapporo and clam chowder soup as his entrée. A party of two women came in shortly and were seated at the table next to ours. Their orders were taken in a much more timely fashion than ours and an hour later one woman finished up her entrée and the other woman was finishing up hers and there was no sign of either of our entrees. I went to the restroom and when I came back out our order had arrived at 7:20 pm, not because it magically showed up, but because my partner had asked the waiter about our order.
The ladies next to us were asked for their dessert choices and whether or not they wanted coffee or tea as well. I thought to myself, a cup of tea would be nice. I hadn't finished my entrée when the waiter asked if I was done. I was still working on it. I started timing everything to be honest because of my frustration. I was done with dinner at 7:30 pm. The dessert I ordered, the peach cobbler was brought out at 7:46 pm and we were never asked if we wanted coffee or tea and our check was brought to us without either of us asking for it.
Full disclosure, I left a small tip but wish I hadn't left anything. The food was good but the experience left a bad aftertaste.
I'm not sure if it was a race thing, I'm Asian and my partner is Honduran, or if it's a class issue or a RW issue. The women seated next to us were Caucasian and they also ordered off of the RW menu but they had a far different experience than we did.
Ask for Jacob. He was outstanding tonight.
I absolutely love this place. The atmosphere, the service, and the food! <3 Highly recommended!
Dinner was absolutely delicious!!! The ambiance, the drinks, the food, the service...AMAZING!!! Had to take our dessert 🧁 🍮 to go... #stillcelebratingus🥰 #livingourbestlife #lure
