What Insiders Are Saying
Lure Fishbar is still just as much of a Soho party yacht as it was when it opened in 2004. The food has only gotten better.
My favorite place to dine for all events. Food is always on point.
We were seated on time and greeted nicely.
The noise level is quite loud and the restaurant wasn’t nearly filled up. Initial ordering went well, but we were wondering what took oysters 25 minutes to be served.
Dinner was good, a bit over seasoned for Diver scallops.
Sushi prices were ridiculous.
A bit overrated. Dinner for two - no drinks ; no desert was close to $150.
Great local restaurant and bar. Marvelous sommeleir Mariah.
My friends and I wanted to check out the “cruise” ship concept.. upon our arrival we were immediately seated.. The interior does resemble a cruise ship. There’s seating for large parties, couples and private rooms.
Our server “Ana” was amazing.. engaging, personable.
The food was delicious..From the specialty drinks to the lobster .. One of my favs was the crispy rice sushi!
Their share platter( make sure to ask price)could feed more than 2.
Leave room for dessert, the chocolate cake is decadent!
We thoroughly enjoyed our “cruise”.. sans the motion sickness
I have eaten at this restaurant many times over the years and this was my first time back since Mallory Hagan left the restaurant (after being crowned Miss America!). However, on this occasion I left very disappointed. I ordered the lobster roll. I had had it previously and it was chunks of lobster but now it is this chopped salad with other ingredients mixed in. They need to list this as lobster salad on a slice of brioche toast because this was not a lobster roll. I was still willing to give it a try. When the item arrived the mayo or dressing on the item was sour. I told my waitress and she took it away and they let me order something else. However, there was no apology or recognition that this should never have been served. At a restaurant of this caliber they offered nothing by way of “let me pick up your cocktail” or “your sushi roll is on us”. It felt like eat your food and leave. This is not the restaurant or experience I remember or previously had here. I had 2 cocktails, 2 Alaskan Crab sushi rolls, and 4 Ikura, and my bill was $115 and I still left a $20 tip.
Everything was very good. A nice variety of food to choose from. We have added this restaurant to our list of favorites.
The sushi was so fresh and delicious. Def will be back
Complimentary deviled eggs! Lovely service.
Josh Capon's restaurants always exude not only fantastic food - but love from the kitchen! Lure is always a winner!! Highly recommend!!!!!
Always outstanding, excellent food, great service, extensive choices!
The server forgot some of our order and was not very attentive. They missed out on us ordering another $100 bottle of wine because of that!!
Excellent location and service. Friendly front staff. Tables next to the bar area can be very noisy
Good food. Good service. Nice ambience. Comfortable but upscale.
Delicious and abundant warm home-made potato chips and delicious warm edamame were immediately placed on the table. Very comfortable seating and excellent service and food---as always!
Lure is my go-to time and time again-- and it never fails to impress! I absolutely love the tempura shrimp appetizer, it's a large portion and absolutely delicious. I also highly recommend their house-made gin lychee martini!
Took my boyfriend there for pre Father’s Day dinner he loves seas food , every thing that was ordered was EXCELLENT!!! Service was great I’m glad i found this restaurant. Def will come back and thanks for the great service !!
Birthday really good place
Overpriced! I was charged 30$ for non- alcohol mojito!!!'
Our waitress was awesome and the service and attention excellent !
This was the best seafood I can remember. Excellent sole and also shrimp tempura appetizer
The room is different, very interesting. The sushi was unbelievable, Service was excellent. In a great Soho location.
Loved it all!
There were 4 of us. Two meals were good, one was ok and one fish dish was over cooked and dry. The noise level was so high that it was unenjoyable. The décor was very nice giving a feeling of being on a boat. The wait staff was very good.
Everything was great. I need to go back for the deviled eggs very soon! They were the highlight for me.
So delicious. My favorite spot. Our server, Adam, was so nice and accommodating. Have a nut allergy and double checked for for all 6 dishes to make sure nothing had nuts. So nice and will ask to be seated in his section every time from now on.
We were given an awkward table that backed up to another table. Didn’t like that. The tables were too close together that we actually leaned on the other table. We ordered drinks 3 separate times and never received them until about 30 mins later and the last drink we ordered, coffee was never brought out but was on the bill. The waitress really never checked in. That is why it took so long for her to realize we weren’t brought the other drinks. The food was delicious. Probably wouldn’t recommend it based on service.
Wonderful place, service and food.
Always excellent. Always consistent.
The food is really amazing. Good cocktails. We always eat here when we come to town twice per year. Highly recommend sitting at the sushi bar.
As always, Lure never fails to deliver. Great food, good ambiance, decent service (the restaurant has some superstars-hence the comment on service) and overall good time.
Great food. High prices.
Happy hour has great deals in comparison to regular menu prices.
Geoff Zakarian raves about their Bucatini and Uni.it lives up to his raves. The service is outstanding. The wine pairings excellent. NOTE that Lure Fishbar is very expensive. Best for very special occasions, or high end business accounts entertainment.
Wonderful food. The Uni was spectacular. The staff was tentative and very knowledgable about their menu.
A great place to have dinner with friends or a special occasion . Good food good service with a nice ambiance!
The sushi chef Sergio is the nicest guy in all of New York!! Highly recommend.
Food was perfectly-prepared and fresh, excellent service
Amazing food. Too noisy. Mediocre service.
