Awesome! Food. Dining outside. Service. Drinks. Location. All good. Will go back real soon.
Always amazing, Heather is the best bartender in NYC!
It was wonderful. My husband and I love coming here, we’ve been coming for over 10 years. the food is consistently amazing. Everyone who works there is very accommodating and friendly.
Nice outdoor seating. Waitress forgot our order and blamed it on slow kitchen despite everyone around us getting served.
Was amazing outdoor dining...loved everything
Excellent food, service, ambiance. Reservation on time. Highly recommended.
Everything was delicious as usual. They seemed to be short staffed. So drinks took vey long.
Superb lunch and service .
We were able to get inside seating to safely celebrate a friend’s birthday. The restaurant observed strict Covid-19 requirements, the staff friendly, courteous and professional. Excellent food and ambiance. The quiet serenading from the wait staff when cheesecake arrived was very sweet. Hard to single out a single entree or menu item—every dish was nicely presented and delicious.
Even on a cold winter night at an outdoor table, it was a fine meal.
Lure's food never disappoints. However the service was the worst it's been. It took 30 minutes for drink orders to come out, and over an hour for the first course of appetizers. Of course patient given the current environment, but was also frustrating because the table next to us' timing was more aligned to expectations.
Outdoor dining as we live in NYC. The heaters were great.
Food was amazing as always.
The Sea-bass special was spectacular
Love this restaurant. Very nice staff although sometimes service was slower - could mainly tell bc dining while it’s 25 degrees outside makes you notice those things more
Main course took forever to arrive. Asked for more ketchup and it never came. Food was good though.
The service is consistently one of the best I've encountered anywhere in NYC. Despite having to delay my table reservation multiple times, the staff accommodated us, even with restrictions to indoor dining. Each member of their staff goes above and beyond, and that's on top of the delicious food!
Great food, great Covid protocols felt very safe. Would highly recommend
My new favorite restaurant
AMAZING SERVICE & FOOD AS ALWAYS
Food was great, wine was great, service was great!
No one asked for additional info that is required for Covid tracing, except measuring temperature.
Bathrooms were so dirty. Regardless if there is pandemic or not, that is Restaurant 101 - have clean bathrooms!
I used to love this restaurant, but I don’t think I’ll be coming back.
Delicious sushi and seafood - well worth it! Shrimp tempura and specialty rolls were divine!
We loved Lure. Sushi and cooked food are both amazing. Service was terrific. The outdoor dining set-up is first rate. Covid protocols closely followed. Will definitely return.
Excellent experience as usual. Too bad that the tuna tartare is no longer as a stand alone item on the menu as an appetizer: Please bring that back!
The cooked food arrived well ahead of a simple sashimi dish. Didnt manage the table that well.
I’m a fan of Lure. For many years, they have been consistent with great service, excellent menu with fresh sashimi and sushi. Their cocktails are also deciduous! Thank you Lure for a wonderful outdoor dining experience.
Limited menu due to Covid but still great quality food and sushi.
Service was a little slow, but navigating outdoor seating and walking the food up the stairs can’t be easy during the troubling times. Lure was a treat as usual!
BEWARE: Lure charges a Covid-19 surcharge. One tacky way of making money on the side and taking advantage of this devastating pandemic. BEWARE: They sent my receipt to a couple of people on my address list. I was not aware of this until I got a text and email from one of my friends that they received my Lure receipt.
Great place even though there is only outdoor dining at present. The management really cares about the regular customers. Just all around good.
Lovely outdoor dining area, decent drinks but the food was just so disappointing. We ordered crispy tuna rolls which had an overwhelming amount of rice, shrimp tempura which was awful and we sent it back, and a few pieces of sushi which were all good. If you go here it’s best to just order sushi and a main dish
I loved this place before the quarantine and the experience was just as good with the quarantine outside dining setup.
The quality of the fish wasn’t at the level it used to be. Rolls weren’t well done and tasted like if we purchased them in a supermarket. Not what you expect when you’re paying more than $100 pax. Very disappointing.
This is a review for the outside dining because of Covid restrictions. Food was very good and service was excellent given the circumstances.
We had a date night here and the food was good! Their crispy rice was decent but not amazing. Their specialty rolls were very small for the price. Was not impressed. Waiter wasn’t really that attentive, we had to ask for things multiple times before we got them. Lobster bucatini was amazing and the Sashimi app was great.
Great place! Will visit here again with my family and friends. Highly recommended.
Sadly there were a few shortcomings. We made a 5pm reservation + then were disappointed to find that NONE of the happy hour offerings were available. We based our outing + reservation on the menu that is on the website. The service + the servers were absolutely spot on + were the best part of the night. The lobster was overcooked (though the corn that came with the dish had great flavour + obviously had a lot of attention). The mayo that was layered over the tempura shrimp made them inedible + the crispy sushi rice seemed like a great idea, based on their instagram, but upon tasting it we found that the rice adhered to one's teeth + that it was best to just eat the yellowtail off the top of the roll + leave the rest on the plate. The arugula/peach salad we ordered was delicious, but I'm sure that the fruit was nectarines. Perhaps we should have just stopped at the sashimi + martinis.
we ordered more cocktails than we would normally just to satiate our hunger + disappointment but after having spent close to $300, this was not the first night out in months we were expecting.
We love lure - but honestly I can’t wait for indoor dining! The food is always amazing but the menu was cut down to accommodate this covid situation. Will be back once everything goes back to normal!!!
The food was delicious without being overly prepared. A beautiful chocolate cake for a birthday celebration was an added bonus!
