This was my first time dining at Lure. I was totally impressed from the moment that I walked in the door. We had cocktails at the bar before dinner. The bartender was attentive and a good mixer. Dinner was made even more pleasant by our waitress, Maya, who was super intelligent about both the food and the wine list. Her personality was cordial and sweet. Lastly, the food was delicious, seasoned perfectly and the portion sizes were just right.
I’ll be making regular return visits to Lure for both business and pleasure.
Excellent food. Scallops are fantastic. Subbed the potatoes for the sunchokes- they were really good. That Old Lucky Sun-their version of an Old Fashioned, is an outstanding cocktail.
Our server was alil slow, but she also waited on tables out on the patio. Food was great, but server never brought us the remoulade sauce. Maybe it was just a bad day so we’ll try it again.
Place is adorable. Laura, our server, was attentive and responsive. Valet parking at $10 is rather pricey. Food was original and delicious.
Server Dean was knowledgeable and exercised the right touch. Cauliflower steak could not have been better. First time eating tamarind, and it was great with poblanos and yogurt. My husband usually declines after one taste, but this time he took every bite I offered.
It was fabulous! The service and food was over the top! Unfortunately our party of 9 could not sit together. However, you were able to add 4 people to our original reservation of five and for that we were thankful! We will return next time we are in Atlanta.
Nice place with good service but not worth the price. We ordered swordfish, which was good, and the mahi mahi, which was ok. I guess seafood is usually expensive but I think they add a premium since it is fine dining.
Fab service! Great wine and care for my gluten free allergy.
We had octopus pork lettuce wraps, catfish, halibut, hush puppies, arugula and asparagus. Service was knowledgeable and always ready. When in Atlanta again we will always put Lure on our list.
Excellent meal. Gluten free options. Great service
This was my first time here ...food was good...not many people in the restaurant . My server asked if I wanted bread I said sure since I was hungry. When the bill came I noticed a $5 charge when questioned was told it was for the bread. I think that is ridiculous but rude to not ever mention it. When I questioned it server said well we buy it ... not the point won’t return
Great Food, Attentive Service. Great Happy Hour Deals!
Great service and food. Our waitress was absolutely on point with all her suggestions she made for my date and I.
Great food and great service! We took our family here after visiting the High Museum and had a wonderful meal and experience. We will be back!
We sat outside on the patio. Ambience was very relaxing, the service was attentive and professional and the food was excellent.
Really great place with excellent tasting food. We had halibut, swordfish and chicken and every dish was amazing. First time there but will be back often.
We sat on the patio and enjoyed a great leisurely birthday meal. Drinks, appetizers, main course and desert. Great menu with unique takes on our favorites. Great service. Enjoy!
We sat at the bar and Nick was fantastic!
Nice, comfortable setting with good food and friendly waitstaff.
We were looking for a fish restaurant in Midtown and Lure was recommended to us. As we ate early evening there were still groups of local business people eating at the restaurant so the noise level was quite high. However, we sat at the side of the restaurant i a booth which was great and masked some of the noise. The starters we began with were good - caesar salad and octopus + lettuce wraps and followed by catfish and swordfish - both well presented /cooked and with great sauces. The oysters were a hot item on the menu when we were there and the table behind us ordered extra so they were obviously good.
Our server was friendly and the atmosphere in the restaurant was buzzy so a good evening out.
Had a birthday dinner here, food and ambiance was great. Our server Roman was amazing and took very good care of us. Will definitely be back
Again, he octopus wrap and the scallop entree did not disappoint. Very strongly recommend.
The hush puppies were the best I’ve had in a very long time. Drinks were great and the dinner was very good. I should have chosen my main course differently.
Excellent food, service and atmosphere
Great time with my mother and son
We had excellent appetizer and entrees. Love the tuna ceviche!
Food was very tasty and beautifully presented. Service was perfect until it was time to pay, which was a bit slow. We’ll be back!
Nice Sunday brunch. The young lady who took our drink order was very knowledgeable about the drinks as well as the food menu.
I’ve lost count as to the number of times my spouse and I have eaten at Lure. We’ve never had a bad experience or mediocre or bad meal. Lure is very well managed.
We love the warm, sincere greeting by the host. It begins what we know will be a wonderful experience.
We each had the Catfish on this visit. Since I had this entree previously, I started to get something else. I’m glad I stuck with the Catfish because this time it was paired with some very delicious vegetables. The flavors were nothing like I’d ever had previously. I think some of the vegetables were baby okra that had been sliced in half lengthwise and flash fried. Oh my! They were delicious and I’m not usually a fan of okra.
We ended our meal with the Layered Chocolate Cake. Decadent it was! Delicious? You bet!
Great evening with nice date atmosphere
Very good, fresh food. We loved the crap dip and baked oysters! Also recommend the burger. We had a great time.
My experience was the worse ever. We should have turned around when we entered the restaurant and the wait staff was sweating and there were available tables on a friday at 7PM and all of the other restaurants on the same street had 1 hour waiting times. We thought the menu was very limited and what was on menu was not appealing to us. I went to this restaurant about 1 1/2 years ago and the experience was totally different. I was impressed but a lot had changed (for the worse) since a 1 1/2 years ago. Our waitress made a recommendation even though I told her that I did not like fruit (papaya and mango) with my seafood. She somehow convinced me that it was really good. I would never ever ever go back nor would I recommend my worst enemy!
Great service, great food, date night for me and my wife!
This restaurant was amazing for a number of reasons. First and foremost, their food and service were top-notch, and the server was incredibly prepared to answer whatever meticulous questions I had.
Additionally, my fiance had a panic attack over dinner and passed out, and the manager of the restaurant and all the servers were quick to come to our aid, which I cannot appreciate enough. We will absolutely be coming back.
Lure is a good, but not outstanding restaurant - we had great service, the décor is fun and it is a convenient choice for a before the event-type meal in mid-town. I do not see it as a destination restaurant for just a dinner out, however. While the food is good, it is a seafood restaurant where the main course seafood - trout, swordfish, etc. are not of the highest quality. Creative-plating and interesting preparations do not overcome the mediocre quality of the cut of fish.
Love. Love. Love. Love! The food is so great, the service is fabulous, and the place is beautiful.
Very friendly, accommodating when something had ginger and they gave me a different entree - and it was very delicious. Second time I was there and will make it a regular!
The food was great, the service was good, and the overall ambience was great. Really enjoyed celebrating Father's day today with my girls and husband. 👍🏼
The Smoked Trout small plate was excellent. Our Blue Crab omelette, though, was not a favorite. The light green roe topping did have a zing from, I suspect a bit of wasabi, but it was not enough to overcome the overall bland taste.
It was lovely! For our first time there we were impressed with the food.
