Salmon and swordfish were delicious. Perfectly cooked and very creative presentations. Service was very good until it's time to leave. How hard is it to get the correct bill to the correct table? An additional 15 minutes of my time and it makes the restaurant look amateurish.
Great food. Outside seating is wonderful. It can get a little loud inside.
Order the hush puppies. Not to be missed!
From our server (very knowledgeable and sweet) to the ambiance of sitting out on the patio, and the amazing food we couldn’t have been happier for it being our first time at Lure. We’ll definitely go back again. We had the Oysters and Octopus as an appetizer which both I would order again in a heartbeat. Our main dishes we had were Salmon & Sea Bass. Both were very tasty with great fall vegetables that were incorporated into the plate. I think what I loved most about their menu is that it was small enough that you felt that you had a great selection of items, but didn’t feel over the top. My husband and I both left happy, and stuffed.
Service was excellent. Wait staff was attentive, knowledgeable and helpful with suggestions. It’s great to go to a restaurant where the wait staff genuinely knows the food they are serving.
Food was great (sea bass, chicken entrees), atmosphere on the covered patio very nice. This Midtown restaurant specializes in seafood, but other entrees are also good. The night we went, we also had excellent service.
We had a great experience! Our waiter Courtney was amazing!! Food and drinks were excellent. The hush puppies are to die for!
The ambiance is very nice. The service was excellent and we all enjoyed our food. Would definitely go back
Great atmosphere. Great bar, good drinks, great vibe and good service. However, the food was average at best. For being known for Seafood, the shrimp cocktail was disappointing. The entrees were fine but nothing you couldnt get from a chain restaurant. Given the reviews, we expected much more as nothing about the experience drove us to want to come back.
Started with a fabulous cocktail: 8 Million Gods. Starters: hush puppies were delicious, Caesar salad had the fishiest tasting dressing I have ever had on a Caesar - overdone. Our entrees were delicious: shrimp tagliatelle and the swordfish. I loved the charred eggplant side, but my husband did not care for it. Great coffee! The service was exceptional. Patio dining was wonderful - really pretty. Overall. It was a pleasant evening, but we don’t love fish enough to return. The menu is very limited if you don’t want seafood.
The service, food, and ambiance was exceptional. I love this place
Had a really nice dinner at Lure last evening. We chose patio seating which was nice. We started with the tuna tartar based on recommendation from our server. Good suggestion. My husband had the shrimp pasta and I had the sea bass. Both were excellent A nice evening.
Our server Kacie was fantastic. She was very attentive to our needs. The food was delicious as always. Our meals are always outstanding at Lure!
Courtney was our dinner experience tour guide for the night and was so amazing! We felt like we were the only ones there even though it was a bit busy.
The food is original, clean, fresh, and so delicious!!
Lovely outdoor setting. Food is very creative. Beautiful and delicious. Especially loved the octopus!
Celebrating a birthday with friends and everything was amazing!
Service was great
Love the hush puppies
Food was uneven. Service slow. Ambiance good. Overall a reasonable place
We waited a very long time to pay. We were told the internet went out and couldn’t be restarted. That’s likely something that couldn’t be avoided, but we sat there for 20+ minutes with no information, no apologies and no “offers” (a free dessert or two?). Poorly handled.
The sea bass was cooked to perfection, along with the roasted eggplant. Grilled Octopus and hushpuppies for apps. Courtney is a wonderful server. Go here.
Sea bass was delicious! Service was excellent!
I very nice place food was great
The service was so professional and welcoming, from the minute we were greeted by the host and throughout with our server Q and everyone who brought the plates. EXCELLENT tuna tartare; octopus was the best I've ever had -- great flavors and tender; blue crab dip, field salad also well loved by the table. BEST drink ever: Jalepeno Business (I subbed vodka instead of tequila, excellent either way I'm sure.) And flourless chocolate cake for the birthday gals. Outside patio is delightful! We will def be back.
The experience was great. Genisis was a great server
It was great to be there. It has been a year and a half since our last visit. Enjoyed it!
We had the hushpuppies, shrimp pasta, sea bass, and peach dessert and each item was fabulous. Service was excellent as well
I had the greens salad and dynamite oysters. I will go back and try ALL the oyster options. They were fantastic. Service was wonderful. Great time with my family.
The fish was well overcooked and had no flavor
Wondering slightly minimal, open airy, great food perhaps the best tuna tartare I’ve had
The restaurant was very clean and nice ambiance however, I was very disappointed with my food. It was our 1st time there and the chargrill oysters were so small and not good at all. As a matter of fact they are not even chargrilled. They should be called baked oysters The shrimp and corn bisque wasn't good either. It had to much of a tomato base. However, my husband had the sea bass and the seasoning was really good but the fish was overcooked.
A great meal, and some surprises on a refreshed menu. While we had a reservation for a table, we arrived early to have a drink at the bar and had such a nice conversation with Hakim, our bartender, that we stayed and thoroughly enjoyed our time. Our two appetizers - charred Spanish octopus and hushpuppies - were delicious. My spouse's flounder was just slightly overcooked but still good, and my sea bass was excellent. And the Lure Sundae was the perfect way to top everything off. One of our go-tos for a friendly staff and great food.
Sea bass was delicious!
Gets better every time I go. Chef and Management come off as enjoying what they do. All courses Yummy! Can't wait to go back!
The food was not good at all. Made a horrible first date experience. My date’s catfish bites were too salty she returned them. My flounder was very under seasoned. The staff was very nice. Won’t be returning.
Wonderful seafood with a fresh, creative Southern take. Oysters and hushpuppies for are a must!
My hubby and I had a beautiful, romantic evening at Lure. Our waitress, Barry, was helpful and attentive. The food was fabulous. Everything we hoped for!
Beautiful restaurant. Amazing staff. I ordered the seared salmon, which I feel was overpriced for the portion size. Very good though.
We have been to Lure several times before covid and this is our 1st visit after being vaccinated. I was looking forward to coming due to it being my birthday and 35th wedding anniversary. It was the worst food and service ever! It even made me and my husband sick to our stomachs shortly after eating. We will never be back and I don't recommend them at all. Now I know why the waitress kept saying that they have a new chef, so I guess that is why the food was so tasteless. The server was just as bad, bland.
Fantastic food and great customer service! Will definitely go back when I’m in town.
Great drinks, food and patio! Service was awesome as well.
