Lure - Atlanta

Told our waiter that we were going to the Symphony so we needed to be served timely. We had reservations for 6:15, arrived early and the Symphony was to begin at 8. Desert wasn't brought to the table until 7:39, we had to leave without eating it and the bill had already been paid... so paid for something I didn't have a chance to eat...
Lure is a fabulous restaurant. It's one of my favorites in Atlanta. They are very consistent with their amazing food and service!
Food was amazing. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Will definitely come back
Excellent BBQ shrimp, limited choice menu, clam chowder was more like pea soup with clams - strange bu good.
The food was delicious & the service was impeccable- highly recommend this wonderful restaurant!
Great in town meeting location for business. Evening parking across the street. Each dish was very flavorful. The wait staff were very attentive. I would definitely return.
Perfect place, perfect service, perfect food to celebrate my birthday on a rainy GA night! Thank you!
Being from the south I expect tarter sauce with my catfish. None available. No butter for hush puppies.
Service was great. And like always food was amazing
Will be going back again, fantastic service and food.
Dining and service was excellent! Parking was a bust- no valet-
Roman was outstanding and was wonderful in serving both me and my 91 year old mother.
Good restaurant with a very nice vibe and pretty good food. The crab dip was superb!
Love this place in my neighborhood. This visit was better than ever. From the thoughtfully crafted and balanced cocktails to the fried crab claw platter appetizer to the amazing new setup for the seared scallops. Bravo!
Was great. Great service and food is always consistently good!
Food was good but service was somewhat slow. Not a very busy night and we found ourselves waiting an incredibly long time between asking/ordering and receiving what was requested the whole night.
Thanks for a great evening and treating me like a star on my birthday. Very knowledgeable, patient , and friendly staff in regards to the menu options. This was our second time visiting and we will definitely be back for a third.
Catfish was too salty overall presentation was marginal
Best flounder I’ve ever had. Thanks for a wonderful NYE!
Nice ambiance good food good drinks
Parking is extremely difficult. Came on a Sunday night and no valet and lots near there wanted 15-20 bucks. On street parking was non-existent (maybe 10 spaces for 3 restaurants). Food was excellent as was service though! Great lobster roll!
Felt a bit rushed throughout our meal. Waiter picked up our bill while we were still finishing our drinks. Gumbo was great. Shrimp cocktail very bland and broiled oysters were consumed with butter. Not great.
Wonderful selection of seafood that has options for every taste and palate. It was hard to choose, so our plates involved a lot of sharing... Great wine menu as well!
Traditional dinner with dear friends after viewing Holiday Lights. Staff kindly seated us even though we were later than our scheduled reservation. We had a relatively quiet table in the back which was appreciated. Server was very good, friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Food was fresh and well-prepared. A very satisfying evening!
Good food and great service. Waitress very knowledgeable of items. Would recommend.
Get the crab dip!!!
Great to go to for a birthday! Such a fun place to celebrate at
My partner and I had a wonderful date night at Lure, prior to seeing a show at Symphony Hall down the street. The food was absolutely delicious: we had fresh oysters, the octopus & pork lettuce wraps (which could have been a meal by itself), and the catfish and swordfish mains were all highlights. I also want to bring special attention to the cocktail menu, and the drink I ordered (something with mezcal & mango juice) was one of the best cocktails I've had in a while. If we weren't running late for the show, I wish we had time to get dessert. Will definitely be going back!
Scallops were fantastic and the salsa and pork belly blended very nicely. Husband had the halibut and was super pleased. The only dish we didn't care for were the hush puppies.
Great restaurant. Great value. Great food. Just 10 min walk from the HIGH MUSEUM and the arts center.
Diner before symphony!
Really great time here
Enjoyed our meal.
I got extremely sick from the food as soon as leaving the restaurant. My husband had to pull over three times for me to let it out. We completely missed our Botanical Gardens trip. I was told that the cornbread was soured which was what made me sick.
I went to Lure with a party of four on a December Sunday night following a concert. Parking was a challenge because the valet person was not on duty and an adjacent parking lot was full, but we managed. Our reservation was honored and we were seated immediately (I don't take this for granted). We picked a wonderful pinot noir and we all liked the flavor and aftertaste. Two of us, born near Chicago, ordered the steel-head trout and loved it. My wife and I enjoyed the swordfish. We wanted the halibut but Lure was out-of-stock. I was a bit surprised that Lure's menu did not list more entrees and that a seafood dish was already gone for an early dinner. We were told that Sunday fare was sometimes iffy as to availability. Also, the popular upside down apple sundae was not available which was disappointing. My alternative dessert Coconut Snowball (tres leches cake, coconut bavarian crème, pineapple compote) was OK but not worth $8-9 in my opinion. Service was prompt and not swarmy. You pay dearly for an evening on the town nowadays in Atlanta. Cost will wine, appetizer, entrée, dessert, tax and tip runs about $60-75 a person.
Very impressed! The ambiance was very nice! The food and service was great! Will come again.
All around great dinner, location and atmosphere. I would recommend.
Terry, our server, was fabulous, and his recommendation of the scallops and pancakes was SPOT ON!! I would NEVER have ordered that! Great atmosphere, creative cocktails. A must visit, even though I initially thought the brunch offerings to be limited. Will definitely return and TRY to order something different!!
Cute restaurant with great atmosphere and service. Yes, I know it is a seafood restaurant, but I had the Wagyu Burger and it is the best burger in town! Highly recommend.
I picked the burger, not a great choice. Kinda a greasy mess with underwhelmingly non-crispy fries. Service was excellent, will go back but choose something else!
