Food was very tasty and beautifully presented. Service was perfect until it was time to pay, which was a bit slow. We’ll be back!
Nice Sunday brunch. The young lady who took our drink order was very knowledgeable about the drinks as well as the food menu.
Great evening with nice date atmosphere
Very good, fresh food. We loved the crap dip and baked oysters! Also recommend the burger. We had a great time.
My experience was the worse ever. We should have turned around when we entered the restaurant and the wait staff was sweating and there were available tables on a friday at 7PM and all of the other restaurants on the same street had 1 hour waiting times. We thought the menu was very limited and what was on menu was not appealing to us. I went to this restaurant about 1 1/2 years ago and the experience was totally different. I was impressed but a lot had changed (for the worse) since a 1 1/2 years ago. Our waitress made a recommendation even though I told her that I did not like fruit (papaya and mango) with my seafood. She somehow convinced me that it was really good. I would never ever ever go back nor would I recommend my worst enemy!
Great service, great food, date night for me and my wife!
This restaurant was amazing for a number of reasons. First and foremost, their food and service were top-notch, and the server was incredibly prepared to answer whatever meticulous questions I had.
Additionally, my fiance had a panic attack over dinner and passed out, and the manager of the restaurant and all the servers were quick to come to our aid, which I cannot appreciate enough. We will absolutely be coming back.
Lure is a good, but not outstanding restaurant - we had great service, the décor is fun and it is a convenient choice for a before the event-type meal in mid-town. I do not see it as a destination restaurant for just a dinner out, however. While the food is good, it is a seafood restaurant where the main course seafood - trout, swordfish, etc. are not of the highest quality. Creative-plating and interesting preparations do not overcome the mediocre quality of the cut of fish.
Love. Love. Love. Love! The food is so great, the service is fabulous, and the place is beautiful.
Very friendly, accommodating when something had ginger and they gave me a different entree - and it was very delicious. Second time I was there and will make it a regular!
The food was great, the service was good, and the overall ambience was great. Really enjoyed celebrating Father's day today with my girls and husband. 👍🏼
The Smoked Trout small plate was excellent. Our Blue Crab omelette, though, was not a favorite. The light green roe topping did have a zing from, I suspect a bit of wasabi, but it was not enough to overcome the overall bland taste.
It was lovely! For our first time there we were impressed with the food.
We had the most wonderful experience! I was a returning guest, but I had two ladies with me with whom it was their first time. They loved it! Roman was our waiter, and was absolutely outstanding!!! Everything you want in a server!!! He made great recommendations! We will be back in July and plan on coming again❤️
This was our first time at Lure. We went for our weekly Sunday brunch, and it was wonderful. We have added it to our personal restaurant favorites. The Hawaiian bread French toast was delicious, and my fiancé enjoyed the catfish - and he is not a big fish lover. Our server, Dean, was delightful.
Unique menu amazing food and service
Our server was fantastic! She had wonderful recommendations for everything - from drinks, to apps to main courses to desserts. The food was fantastic and the ambiance was perfect for a nice date night.
Everything was great...food, service, etc. Wine list is a little pricey based on the price of the food. There were not that many value wines. I don't think it is necessary to spend over $50 or $60 for a bottle of wine. There were not alot of choices of wine by the glass, and the one we wanted was conveniently not available. The waitress recommended something similar, which turned out to be good, but it was $5 more per glass. Otherwise a great experience!
In ATL for a weekend getaway. Lure was a a nice catch for meeting our requirements. Ate there twice. The only minor downsides were the taste of the appetizers were somewhat plain and the whole restaurant could be a bit cleaner.
Great place for a date, drinks after work or meeting. Staff very pleasant and knowledgable about the menu.
Waiter was very attentive and the smoked fish and veggie appetizer was amazing. Great atomsphere and good food at a reasonable price.
Fresh seafood, inventive cocktails, good wine list and knowledgeable, attentive service. We each had a different fish, salmon, halibut and trout and they were all delicious.
This restaurant had so many delicious sounding items on the menu, we definitely want to go back and try more. Our appetizers, salad and entree were all yummy; but the dessert was over the top great. Really loved our dinner there; the decor was nice, a skylight provided nice natural light and seating was comfy.
We have been steady customers of Lure for several years. A friend met us there for our first visit and we keep coming back
I’d say the food and the staff are the main pluses. We normally order a fish dish and sometimes the chowder.
The food comes out quickly but no in a rushed manner. They have a wide wine and beer selection.
Prices are appropriate for the food quality.
Noise level is manageable early but gets loud as the evening progresses.
My only complaint is that the valet parking is no longer complementary.
The food was incredible and our server was very attentive without being overwhelming
Anniversary. Service was slow.
Went for brunch, they were very accommodating of our daughter and service was mostly great. Only thing that was off was the fish and chips sandwich. Generally that dish is made with a white fish of some type. While that is not required it would make sense to warn customers that it was being made with whole bone-in herring as that is a very different experience and taste profile. I took one bite and didn’t continue eating it. Our server didn’t inquire about it, offer to remove it from the bill or offer me the chance to order something else.
The service was great! Our server was able to give good descriptions of the dishes we were interested in trying and we were not disappointed with our food. The Prosecco on tap is always a delicious choice. I enjoy my experience at Lure each time I’ve been!
Great food & location!
The husband and I went to Lure for dinner and had a great time. The food, service and overall experience was well worth it. The inside is clean and our waitress was exceptional. We even almost walked out without our to go dessert and she stopped us to bring them to us. We will definitely be back.
Some of the best seafood in Atlanta. We come for the grilled octopus and pork appetizer and stay for the entres which always come with wonderful and surprising sides. My wife's delicius scallops came with the root of sunflowers, a first time experience for us. Juicy, salty, potato-like strchiness. Fried perfectly. I had the salmon, fresh and seasoned perfectly, with a side of peaches and corn bread. Didn't sound good to me at first, but was absolutely delicious.
Our server, Atara (sp?--sorry), was friendly, helpful and all around delightful. She made us feel like we were eating at a friend's home.
A terrific dining experience.
My ladies and I had the most exceptional experience at Lure. We were warmly greeted by Ernest who was able to seat us at the lovely patio space. Upon being seated, Laura promptly introduced herself and guided us through our shared plate experience during this visit. The multiple dishes were complemented by delectable wines and signature cocktails that were suggested by Laura based upon personal experience and what was being ordered. The ambiance was much enjoyed by the airflow that was swept through the area thanks to the fans situated throughout the patio. My ladies and I were able to catch up on years of life without the interruption of other tables that were closely situated. Laura and Ernest continued to check on us until the end. There were even opportunities for personal connection at times throughout. We left feeling most pleased by the attentiveness that I can continue to expect to receive at Lure... even after my last visit to the restaurant being in 2016. The only Miss was that they no longer offered the whole Trout. Bummer. Thank you Ernest, Laura, and Lure staff for being such gracious hosts.
Everything was great including our server Amy
Food was ok. Ran out of scallops and trout by 8pm which was kinda crazy
Our server was fantastic made all of our dishes GF!
Poor, disinterested and slow service ruined our meal!
This is a great neighborhood establishment. Their patio is very comfortable and a great place for brunch.
First time to Lure. Cannot wait to return. Wonderful atmosphere with superb service and fresh, delicious unique seafood dishes. Perfect date spot in midtown.
Overpriced with fair food and uninspired service. Clearly not worth our drive.
