Parm soufflé was outstanding. Christina was great.
Staff accommodated us as we arrived early. They made us feel welcomed and relaxed. We loved the place all cozy and warm. Our food was perfect and paired with a smooth red wine. We will definitely return and will share our experience with our friends!
Fantastic food!!! Expensive, but you get what you pay for most times. We went there because it was rated as one of Vancouver’s most romantic restaurants, but I would say that’s not how we felt. There was track lighting everywhere, quite bright. Dimming would have helped, but then maybe servers couldn’t see. It was way too bright to be romantic. No visible fireplace from where we sat. Great food as I said, but if you are looking for romantic, not good for that in my opinion.
Great restaurant! Our server July took care of us last year as well and we were back here for our anniversary. The service here is on point.
This was our first visit to Lupo, but it will not be our last. Fantastic service, friendly, and knowledgeable The food was amazing, and presented well. Good selection for Gluten Free
Nice, cozy atmosphere. The food was great. Pasta dishes were really good especially the wild mushroom pasta. The lamb shank was a bit dry, but tasty.
We had an absolutely great dinner at Lupo. We are from out of town and were not familiar with the restaurant when we decided to go. The restaurant is set in a beautiful restored house and the service is exceptional. I had the romaine salad and the Nero pasta with lobster and shrimp. We would definitely return to this gem.
My very close friends were able to take my reservation and they really enjoyed their experience
First time here....Great food, service and ambiance!
We’ll be back!
Our 3rd visit - with Lupo hitting it out of the park three times in a row!
I came here for everyday dining with a friend. I love the setting and quiet atmosphere of this restaurant. The freshly baked focaccia was amazing. The rack of lamb was also very tender and juicy. The special black truffle fettuccine of the night however was more greasy than tasty...
Food is simply delicious. We will definitely come back very soon!
We chose this restaurant because it's a 2-block walk from the QE Theatre, and it's Italian after all :). It's in a renovated heritage home, and the ambience was quiet and welcoming - we sat on the second floor in the front. There are good options for gluten-free people and the kitchen seems flexible. For example, they have a great gluten free pasta you can substitute for $4 - it's well worth it because the GF pasta has the taste and feel of being home-made - maybe it is? Try the wild mushroom taglieri. The bufala salad was gorgeous and tasty and the creme brulee was a wonderful finish. My partner told me the caesar salad was the "best he had ever had" and this man knows what he is talking about! Go there soon, or at least go there before or after a show at the QE - you will not be disappointed.
Lovely ambiance and we especially liked the two salads we ordered. Service was friendly and prompt. Pasta was fresh and delicious. Dessert was a bit disappointing but the coffee was nice.
We went for dinner to celebrate Valentines Day early. Although surrounded by skyscrapers, the restaurant is in a 2-story home. The staff was great, very knowledgeable. I had the veal, and I guess my wife did too, because it sure felt like she kept asking me for more! She had the lamb shank, which I also thought was amazing, but the veal stole the show. Tiramisu for dessert was the perfect ending. We will definitely return if we come back to Vancouver.
Located only two blocks from the QE, making it a perfect spot for dinner before the show..
A wonderful dining experience. Service is amazing. It is expensive, but worth the splurge for special occasions.
The food was excellent the waiter attentive
