It was nice experience . We ordered the lamb and ham. So good !
Lupo is our go-to spot for special occasions and will be for years to come. This place never disappoints in service, food quality, or experience. Every single staff member should be given high praise for their consistency. The server tonight remembered us from over 6 months ago when we were last here! Makes the experience that much better. Well done Lupo!
Great food, excellent service in an old heritage home
Although this was our first visit, it will not be our last. We look forward to another wonderful evening at this restaurant.
Food was good and service was great !
Perfect food and service. We let them know that we had a symphony to catch and they ensured we had plenty of time to dine and unwind. Thank you to Lucy my Favorite server there!
Everything was delicious but I highly recommend both the Focaccia side and the Fois Gras appetiser. My only regret was not trying out one of their delicious looking desserts because the appetisers and pasta dish made me too full.
Great food. Great service. Very attentive and friendly.
The food was delicious and beautifully presented. We were a trio of friends getting together with lots to talk about and the atmosphere was very congenial and seating accommodated easy conversation. We were off to a concert after and they were able to get us on our way with plenty of time. We had the special appetizer and pasta dish of the day and both were superb!
Loved it. Definitely go there again
Scene: Quaint heritage house renovated to be a restaurant. A long flight of stairs takes you to the front door, so make note. Modern décor/interior juxtaposed with heritage feel. Calm, but energized ambiance - date suitable, but still family friendly enough for well behaved young children.
Food: Up to high standards as always ( 3 for 3 visits). No free bread before the meal, so you are warned. If you want bread, you need to order it ($4/$6). The menu is divided into Antipasti, Primi and Secondi, but they don't actually expect you to order all 3. What they call Primi are pasta dishes, and Secondi are meat based dishes. I like to order the burrata antipasti if they have it, and anything with truffle in it for my main. Good selection of dessert - they have something for almost everyone (I don't like chocolate and am mildly lactose intolerant).
Service: Professional and courteous. Courses are spaced out, i.e. take a while to come out, so don't come if you are in a hurry. Dinner here is to be savoured, enjoyed at a leisurely pace. Allow 2 hours as a bare minimum. 2.5 hours is comfortable. If you are also having drinks, 3 hours.
This place is now a mainstay as a fancy go-to for birthdays, Mother's/Father's Day, etc.
Lupo never disappoints, and the combo of fresh ingredients and a great chef always produces a wonderful dinner. By far, one of the top 3 Italian restaurants in Vancouver.
Great food and ambiance. Our server was very attentive, positive with a great smile which always goes a long way.
Food is always great. The lack of washrooms must be a common complaint though.
Fantastic service and food. Very cozy atmosphere inside.
We arrived to serving staff who'd hoisted in the fact we were attending a show later in the evening. Our server was attentive, provided great advice about ordering so that we would be on time, and ensured we had fun, had enough time to enjoy the delicious food, and left in plenty of time for the show.
Service was impeccable. Melanie was very knowledgeable and personable. Great suggestions and we never had to ask for anything twice. Food was beyond amazing! I had the Roasted Local Quail with gnocchi. Melt in your mouth and a perfect balance of flavor - truffle flavor was prominent without being overbearing. My husband had the halibut and prawns and was equally satisfied. Suggestion for the focaccia bread and the featured starter was on point!
Went for a birthday dinner. Overall experience was phenomenal. Great italian dishes with their own unique flare. Bravo!
Fabulous meals and always consistent
Erratic Service with some food items not served as per the servers intial table-side description. we had to ask before it was changed to match the original description (Jumbo prawns were substituted with regular shrimp).
Service was a tad on the slow side...
Taste like you’re eating in Italy.
Excellent service in a refreshingly spacious yet cozy environment with a modest noise level. Food quality was very great, presentation excellent, servings healthy but not excessive. Fairly expensive but then you get what you pay for...
We were off to a concert and were obliged with well timed but not rushed and very friendly service! Highly recommended for a special evening!!
Food was delicious from appetizer to our pasta and dessert! I would come back for more❤️
Unique delicious gourmet inside heritage house !

Excellent food in good portions. Good wine list and very knowledgeable staff.
Friendly, busy atmosphere but tables are a bit cramped together.
We shared the veal raviolis and mushroom pasta. Both excellent.
Fabulous restaurant - been a couple of times and always had a phenomenal meal with fantastic service.
Was there for a birthday celebration! Food....excellent!! Service.....excellent!
Great restaurant with ambient atmosphere and delicious food
Everything was perfect! Our meals were fabulous and our server, Nicole, made the whole experience wonderful.
Thank you Sarah and the rest of the Lupo Staff for making our anniversary special!
I went last week with my boyfriend and had a great time. The waiter was super nice and the food was incredible. The place is cozy and you can actually have a conversation while you eat.
Always great food and service. Very consistent.
My friend and I had an amazing time! We loved the staff and the food was phenomenal!
We can came for a birthdays and the food was exceptional. The service was great.
Just a must!!
Servers were great but the fettuccine made both of us feel ill
Great service, food and wine advice.
Was noisy until an adjacent party left.
We were fortunate to dine on the main floor as a previous evening we were upstairs and it was very noisy. One hard surface bouncing off another hard surface. In every other aspect the restaurant is a gem.
