Lupo Restaurant & Vinoteca
This was my second time visiting and it was awesome on both occasions. Food was delicious and unique
Amazing specials and ambiance was perfect for our anniversary
Amazing food with good portions. worth every dollar !
Lupo is always high on our list when we are thinking Italian cuisine. Great food, great service and a nice cozy atmosphere. Parking is available across the street. We have dined there a few times before seeing shows downtown. We'll be back.
Great food and atmosphere. Service was attentive and professional. We appreciated the white linen table cloth. Quiet enough to easily hear conversation.
Every time we go to Vancouver,we try to get to Lupo for dinner
Always impressed with the menu and daily specials not to mention an extensive wine list
Either too salty or too bland.
A lot better options out there for lower prices.
Very good service, great food - nice to have a gluten free pasta
Very good food experience!!
A very enjoyable evening. We came early so was quiet and the place filled up it was more energetic. We could still carry on a conversation. Food and service were excellent. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.
I was visiting from Toronto and wanted to treat my sister and brother in law to a nice dinner, this was over the top
Fin de año
I love the relaxed feel of this place – like a comfortable dining room in a friends home. However, the service is quite horrible. I was not asked how the food was, or if I needed anything. When I paid the bill, they forgot to add on the liquor, so I brought it up to the waitress and there was no thank you, or any sign of appreciation. She took the bill and added the wine on and that was it. It also took about 30 minutes to pay on top of this.
NYE dinner with a set menu was a perfect way to start our party night!
We had such a great time last New Years Eve we had to go back! Service was amazing! Food was amazing!
Went on NYE, only had set menu option. Was overpriced and the food was decent. Definitely not a bad experience but wouldnt recommend for value. 88 dollars for 3 course meal and 100+ for 4 course.
I always come here for special occasions. They never disappoint!
Always exceptional. Lupo never fails from service to food. We’ve been coming here for the last 4 years & have never been disappointed.
Not wheelchair accessible. Overly warm inside. Other than that the food was delicious especially the focaccia, Parmesan soufflé, and the ribeye with roasted fingerlings. Oh and the lemon tart! A great birthday experience with the corresponding hit to the wallet. 10/10 would do again
Unfortunately our dinner was not what we were expecting. We had dinner a number of times at Lupo before and everything was exceptional except this last time. It was very disappointing especially when we were trying to make this night a special night for my family.
A wonderful dinner that was perfect in every way, from the quietly attentive service to the delicious food, from the wine pairing to the shared dessert which was just the right size for a sweet bite to end a satisfying mean. Lupo never disappoints.
Lupo was recommended to us, and we’re so glad it was. Outstanding in every way. Creative Italian menu, unique ambiance (a former house), attentive but not intrusive service.
Haven't been here in many years so wanted to give it a try again. We were welcomed by a very obnoxious man who didn't ask us if we had a reservation but asked if we were two? We said no, we were three. He then requested if we had called to let them no, to which I replied, no, we have a reservation. He then seated us. Our waiter was gracious and knowledgeable and the food was overall quite good however my sable fish was presented with skin side down and the skin was very oily and not crispy at all so I was worried that it was not cooked properly. The obnoxious man who greeted us served our various courses and he continued to be quite obnoxious. I would suggest he be reassigned to the back of the house but I suspect he is the owner or manager. Don't think we will be going back to Lupa again. Too bad. It has potential.
The waiter and food where the best.
Totally recommend this place.
Excellent as usual —we keep going back due to the consistency of the food and service in a lovely ambience
Service was prompt and friendly. The food was nicely presented and tasty. Prices are not out of line with similar restaurants. Overall this was a pleasant experience.
We travel to Vancouver once a year to dine at Lupo. It is the best restaurant in the world. If you’re looking for some gastro experience where your bread has been frozen as pellets and butter is served in a shot glass, then this is not your place. But if you want great, well-appointed flavor explosion simple fresh ingredient food, then this is your spot. Romantic, fun, and amazing. You won’t be disappointed.
Food was just ok. Nothing wrong but just ok. Servers should look more présentable and more professional. I felt a little rushed to finish. Also i think white table clothts should be on every table not just few. As for food it was just good. Nothing special. Overall not bad but not good
Outstanding food. The fettuccine with butter and black truffle was to die for. All round great meal and good value.
Dinner after the nutcracker with the wife
The qual is dope
I brought a client and his wife and child for dinner. Fortunately, the 2.5 yr old was very well behaved. It helped, I am sure, that the staff were patient and accommodating and provided great options for a young child. The food was good and the dining experience classy and comfortable. I will definitely come, again.
We dine at Lupo every visit to Vancouver BC. We live in the Seattle area and dine at Lupo"s at least once year.
Food was delicious. Lovely and friendly atmosphere that was perfect for an intimate meal. Can't wait to return on our next special occasion!
Enjoyed the service and food very much.
Amazing food, so flavorful. Nice upscale space with a warm friendly vibe.
Food was excellent. Service was even better. Our server Sara was just a pleasure and provided outstanding service. Highly recommended.
No complaint about the quality of the food or the service. The restaurant was surprisingly busy and noisy, we felt. Diners should be aware that a shared appetizer, two entrées, and a shared cheeseplate, plus wine, taxes and tip, can add up to $300 plus.
There was a big group that was a bit too loud. We were there to celebrate my husband’s birthday, so a bit annoying.
We made reservations for 4 at Lupo on a Saturday evening and the restaurant was completely full so I would highly recommend reservations. Lupo has a very comfortable vibe as it is in a lovely old “home like” setting. It has a well deserved reputation for its Italian food as each entree we had and appetizer was very tasty and beautifully presented. Appetizers and salads are around the $20 price range and entrees start at about $35 to $40 and up from there. Service was excellent as well - attentive yet unobtrusive. We were definitely too full for dessert as portions were quite generous in some instances. You may want to share especially if you are considering the addition of a pasta.
Great. Special evening, special dinner. Food was delicious as was the service.definitely deserves 5 stars
