Villa Lupo restaurant is a special place where the food, the service and atmosphere bring us back again and again.

Food was spectacular as usual.

They just need to work with service staff in regards to social distancing. I prefer that they don’t reach over me to pour water or put down dinner plates. It was a bit uncomfortable.

Mo and his team always deliver an amazing meal and experience. Thank goodness they’ve survived the Covid shutdown - and come out the other side as amazing as ever!

Tasty food and great wait staff. Everything was clean and they were taking all the precautions, which made me feel at ease for our first meal in a restaurant since the outbreak of covid. I would definitely come back.

Fabulous food. The appetizers were mouthwatering, primis were flavourful and the desserts were pretty great as well. Cappuccino, one of the best we've had (even comparable to good ones in Italy).
The place is quaint, very relax and service was good.
Loved this place, will definitely come back soon.

Fantastic little place! Went there on the recommendation of a friend and it did not disappoint. Staff was very friendly and made some great suggestions both for food and wines. Everything we had was delicious, and the space was lovely and charming. I would highly recommend this for a romantic dinner.

Very few people in the restaurant so I expect the noise level might have been higher. 4 old friends catching up. Table was by the fire which was nice Service was good.
Started with antipasto for the 4 of us. Good range of meat, really great pickled vegetables but could have used a bit more. Had to ask for bread which surprised me.
I had the special veal shop which was excellent. DH had the lamb shank which he said was "pedestrian", blah. (TBH I make an excellent lamb shank so he does have a point of comparison). Other companions had the agnolotti special which they both said was "very good".
Capuccino's were excellent. Pear tart was excellent. Canolli were overly sweet... couldn't tell if they were stuffed with sweet cream or mascarpone. Presentation of all food was right on point.
Would go back but would stick with the specials of the day as opposed to the main menu..either that or the pasta. Previously have always had the pasta here which is generally excellent.
Hope they make it through the next 4 weeks.....

My wife and I had a wonderful dinner at Lupo's this last weekend. It was just the sort of place we were looking for...intimate without being too stuffy. The service personnel were spot on in being there to help but not obtrusive. We started with a bread plate that came with some of the finest, smoothest olive oil we have ever had! After that, we split the Buffalo mozzarella (excellent!) and then came the entree...simply delicious. I had the Calabrese style rabbit ragout Pappardelle and my wife had the smoked free range chicken Cannelloni. My Pappardelle was full of the most tender rabbit meat I've ever had...all with some tender (al dente) green Pappardelle noodles. Wonderful! In my wife's Cannelloni, the smoked chicken was just to die for. Finally, we split a Caneloni for dessert...also first class.

The service was great as noted above, the ambiance was low key (i.e. you could carry on a conversation without shouting), there were no sports games on overhead TVs and the layout of the restaurant (in an older converted two story house) lends to a romantic evening. A place we'd highly recommend if you have some time to spend in Vancouver BC!

The food is delicious, servers very polite and helpful. The overall experience was very positive. Highly recommended for dates, special occasions and business meals.

We definitely were not happy with our server we were not offered cheese from our server unlike other tables , our pasta looked completely different from what was for pictures on social media. We were told that the pasta changes but this was only few months ago . Also the food came out really slow the appetizers came out quick but after that it was a good 35 minutes before the next course came out.

Overall we came for a late valentines day dinner it was our first time here but I don’t think we would be coming back for the price i paid I would’ve expected better service .

Wonderful food and service as usual. A little noisy if there is a big group in the small space.

Our second time at Lupo and did not disappoint us. A very quiet place for dinner and I felt I am eating in my house. I love the ambiance with the setting in an old house. The food is superb. We did not have pasta this time which was delicious. It was nice to have small portions which I am able to split with my husband. All in all, you love Italian food I will gladly recommend Lupo.

As our reservation was a little later in the evening we opted to have only a second and the pastas were delicious! Linguini vongoli was tasty, lots of clams and pasta cooked just right. Bolognese sauce on perfect al dente was also excellent. Service was well paced and helpful.

My husband and I have dined twice at Lupo's in the past 6 weeks. It was so good we had to go again. This is special restaurant where the food is excellent, the servers really care and love what they do and the setting is in a beautiful house that is warm and welcoming. It's a great place for a romantic dinner or spending time with friends. We look forward to dining at this special place again.
