    Great dinner night out. Very good ambience and awesome personalized service from everyone. Food tasted great and was carefully prepared with fresh ingredients. The duck was unbelievable. You should visit this establishment and do the full four course meal, you won't regret it. Huge wine list well curated. Thank you for your hospitality.

    Fantastic, a complete food journey that remained in mind the following day. Good show! Mat our server was exceptional as was the food and wine. I admit i have been away from this property for some time and now cant figure out why. Get yourself into this house and have a great meal provided by a top notch team.

    The food was outstanding! Unfortunately when our first dish came out the food runner dropped it off like it a hot potato. No explanation of the dish, or placement of the dish. I had the truffle linguini, outstanding! When our server brought the dessert menu he also mentioned an unsightly tale of his toddler being sick the night before and puking up blueberries. Really was looking forward to dessert but both my friend and I were put off from eating anymore. I was also surprised that for non alcoholic beverages there was no options that matched the level of care I’ve come to expect from restaurants. I’d go back for the food. I wouldn’t expect great service…. Which is a bummer!

    First of all, the booking service is great, with the possibility to give a reason and ask a service with the table. The service was very good, with a kind and patient waiter who gave us advice on the menu, the food, and the wine. He took the time to explain to us the origin of the BC wine. The food and wine were outstanding, the price was understandably high. The music was low and well chosen, which is good for a gentle and relaxant atmosphere. It was our best experience on a very good and fancy restaurant. We'd like to thank all the team for this lovely evening which will leave a good memory for a long time !

    Outstanding taste and quality of food. However, I would like a sheet with the specials and price listed, as it is too much to remember just being told by the staff; my special, the halibut was sadly a very small portion size with a few small vegetables at a very high price; pasta added to that dish would have been appreciated. Unfortunately the temperature was uncomfortably cold in the dining front area and the food quickly became cold. Another disappointment was the bread basket, although a wonderful taste, it was very skimpy plus there was a charge for it. Be aware there are lots of steps to climb to enter and again to climb to the rest rooms.

    My family and I had a good experience at this restaurant. Great service, good food, and a lovely wine list. The bread is yummy but they need to add more in their bread basket with more dipping oil. Beware- prices are on the higher side. Had to pay for the bread basket and portions are not large. Yet, we would go back next time we are in town!

    Everything was fantastic. The food was delicious, the different courses came to the table at perfect intervals and the quantity was perfect. Our server was energetic, helpful and made a great suggestion for an alternate wine choice. The ambience was festive and we sat in the former porch area of the Victorian house where we could enjoy the view of the street and also the cozy fireplace through the stained glass windows. We will be back!

    Lovely restaurant divided into to smaller rooms. White linen tablecloth and napkins. Lovely server, the best service. Special salad of Burrata and tomatoes and some greens with balsamic reduction - absolutely perfect. My entree of pasta with lamb ragu was tasty but a very large portion. The wines by the glass were very good - lots of choice. A very special evening for our friend’s birthday.

    This is quite an expensive restaurant, not at all in my usual price range. My wife and I were a bit apprehensive that we would feel out of place. But we were put at ease immediately with a warm welcome and the friendliness of the staff was constant throughout. The food was some of the best Italian food we have ever eaten. We were especially impressed by specials that were not on the menu. The server was very helpful with recommendations and also in warning us that the primi dishes were larger than usual for Italian restaurants. As a result, we skipped the antipasti and shared a primi plate, followed by separate secondi dishes. This was a strategy that worked perfectly for food quantity. We will happily return to this restaurant.

    The mushrooms at our last dinner at Lupo were delicious. We had them on the veal chop and on the raviolis. Those dishes have never been better.

    Nice retrofitted heritage house in the fancy area of town. It was very busy when we were there (6:15pm on a Friday) The service staff were attentive and nice. We both ordered the specials. I had the halibut with prawns and veggies. She had the wagu beef ravioli. Both were smaller than expected, especially considering the price. Both seem to have been sitting under the heat lamp for too long before being served, which I guess makes sense seeing as they were busy. We looked at the dessert menu and lots of things looked fine but we were underwhelmed by the mains and decided to find dessert elsewhere. The 2 mains, with no appetizers, 1 glass of wine, and one coffee, cost about $150 after the 15% tip. Afterwards we went to Brekka for dessert, which were $6.50 each vs $14 each and likely about the same.

    Great atmosphere and charm. Upscale but not over the top. Best Caesar salad ever - ask for anchovies! Three tiny nits. Too much cinnamon in the lamb shank. Wrong glasses used for red wine. Nicer tables were available, with view that would have been appreciated. Still l, great for business or date night. Will return!!

    It was alright but definitely not worth the hype considering it is listed on Canada’s top 100. I have had better pasta in Italian restaurants at less price. Very few vegetarian/vegan options and would have preferred to see mocktails on the menu. Tiramisu was delicious.

    The food was sublime, and our server, Brad, took excellent care of us. In fact, there was a party of 8 beside us that was quite loud, so loud we had to raise our voices considerably to hear one another. We asked if there was a quieter spot to move to and there was not, which was understandable. But, without any prompting, they gave us a generous discount as our experience was clearly less than optimal. This kind of customer service is rare and wonderful. So we will most definitely be back!

    My waitress was amazing. The wine was really good. Liked the burrada I ordered. The pasta was just okay. It’s not nice to say that but I have some Italian roots so I am a bit demanding when it’s about pasta. The short rib didn’t make a lot of sense for me on the pasta filling and it was a bit hard to taste the pasta itself with so much ‘meat information’ - also didn’t think the white sauce was a great choice for this pairing. Might give Lupo another try some time.

    Cozy restaurant in an older renovated home. Friendly greeting and great service for our entire meal. Wine list is impressive, but with only a few good choices under $100 per bottle. Shared "foie gras" appetizer was delicious. Special ravioli plate was tasty, but a little sloppy presentation with one ravioli burst out of its seams before service... Halibut was cooked to perfection but portion was very small while the vegetables were under-cooked.

    The staff was very courteous, helpful, and patient. They were very accommodating and explained items in detail. The food was absolutely amazing. First time there, and definitely not the last time. This will be a new “go-to” place for me.

    The ambience of this place is gorgeous. A calm, comforting atmosphere which is perfect for a quiet and romantic dinner. Our server was lovely and knowledgeable, and gave us the perfect amount of space for our date night while being attentive still. The fettuccine is so good and the truffle flavour stands out.
