It was way too noisy. We brought our children for a nice dinner and the noise level made all of us too agitated to unwind and enjoy. It was quieter out in the casino.
Waiter was not very attentive and somewhat rude. Support staff was good.
Very slow service and Mandalay Bay music band was too loud.
The bruschetta was the best I’ve had. It was very delicious. We really appreciated the fast (too fast?), friendly and professional service.
Best bruschetta I’ve ever had. Service was courteous and professional. My water glass never got below half full. Sad I was too full for dessert. A must do.
Service was slow. Bussers were behind bussing tables so the hostesses were wiping them down and setting the table for the guest who were waiting. The server was less than personable because he had too many tables in his section. Waited 30 minutes between appetizer and entree. Told the server we were in a hurry and needed the check with the food, took another 15 minutes after the food arrived.
The service was terrible and the food was average. I will not recommend this place to anyone.
One of the best steaks and salmon dinners we have ever had.
Very much enjoyed our time at Lupos. Dave was a wonderful server. Very knowledgeable and fun. Only reason for lower rating on food is I was disappointed in the caprese salad. Very little burrata cheese and didn’t have much flavor. Other dishes were very enjoyed.
Food was good. Service was not. Finally got my appetizer after I got my main course. Waiter assumed there was one Check and when asked for two he was not happy then did not separate bill properly. Also seemed. Annoyed that we wanted to charge to rooms.
Overall not a nice experience
Our last night before returning home from Vegas. We looked forward to dining at one of Wolfgang Puck’s restaurants and chose this one since it was close to the show we were going to. We arrived about 15 minutes early, but were told we couldn’t be seated since they didn’t “open” until 5. We would have preferred having a cocktail or two at Lupo’s but instead went to a bar next door. The food overall was good and service was good. Oh and happy hour cocktails are only available at the bar, not the tables.
The second time there in 2 months wasn't as good as the first time. The Osso Buco was too done this time and the service by our wait person wasn't as good as the nice young men who helped. We saw them more than him. Also disappointing is the decaffeinated coffee. it tastes like instant coffee.
This was my first dinner visit to Lupo By Wolfgang Puck and will certainly not be my last. Although I stay at Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas for an extended vacation every spring, I always like to eat at the great assortment of restaurants at Mandalay Bay as well. Everything about the dinner was great including the great service, ambience, and, most importantly, the delicious food. I loved the lasagne entree and gelato / sorbet dessert. I also found the restaurant reasonably priced when compared to similar Italian restaurants elsewhere. This restaurant was packed on a Sunday night and was the same throughout the entire Mandalay Bay property throughout my stay. I will certainly return again on my next visit to Las Vegas.
The food was decent, but overpriced. The service was incredibly slow. For instance it took more than 10 minutes between the time the waiter gave us dessert menu and when he asked us what we wanted.
Started off waiting 10 minutes to be acknowledged by the waiter. Finally ordered. Spaghetti was totally lumped and stuck together. Meatballs were excellent. Could have used much more sauce. It was pretty slim. Pretty pathetic Wolfgang. Not a good reflection on your name.
Great restaurant! Food was delicious. Our server Ketsy was fantastic.
Nice meal. Enjoyed ourselves. Food was definitely better than most other Italian places we have been.
Food was very good. Pizza was large enough for 2 . Good value for Vegas prices.
Great let down. Food was nice t good. Tomato sauce was runny and flavorless. Chicken was paper thin and dry. Server was condescending. Bar with TV in the middle of the room ruins the atmosphere of the restaurant. Don't bother wasting your money hear. There are plenty of excellent restaurants around. This isn't one.
We dined at some of the top rated restaurants while in Vegas (Joe’s and Top of the World to name a few) and decided to try Lupos on our last night since it was convenient. It ended up being our favorite meal of the trip. Great wines and authentic Italian dishes that were all fresh and flavorful. We would have dined here again if we had another night.
The food was amazing. I had the Braised beef short rib, and it was quite possibly the best meal of my life. Every mouthful was so flavourful, and the beef just fell apart. A perfect meal and our server was very knowledgeable about everything on the menu.
The food was authentic Italian - very good! Service was on point. We’re going back.
Spectacular Italian cuisine and service with beautiful ambiance.
The food was very normal nothing special. I could actually cook better. The pizza was good. We were party of 6 and the only person happy was the one who order pizza.
I always try and visit Lupo while in Vegas. Make sure to try the gnocchi. My favorite dish
The osso bucco was awesome and the handmade ravioli was the best I ever had.
We go to Las Vegas at least once a year and most times we go to Lupo's.
We have not been impressed with the service on our last two visits.
Our recent visit in March, will most likely be our last .
There is usually a large group of us but on this occasion there were eight of us.
Our server was arrogant, made faces at our requests and queries and at the end of the evening, told us to leave a big tip.
Absolutely not acceptable.
Wolfgang's Bolognese is fabulous, a destination in itself. So is the beet salad. The insalata mista was far too vinegary for our taste. We've dined at all of the Wolfgang Puck restaurants in Vegas, and have loved them all. Extremely fair-priced, with great wine pairings and service.
We enjoyed a wonderful dinner after seeing Michael Jackson One at Mandalay Bay. Our dinner was excellent. From salads, to appetizers, to entree's to dessert, everything was delicious. Wine and cocktails were also very good.
We loved the Chicken Parmagian and Caesar Salad..with a glass of Sangiovese each.
We will be back.
We were seated and ordered a glass of wine, which took 15 minutes to be served. Ordered appetizers which took 30 minutes to be served. Our entrees came in about 50 minutes, one of which was the wrong order. Not the experience you would expect at a Wolfgang Puck restaurant. Complimentary after drink was served but overall very disappointed.
Consistently great food. Pizza very good as well. Priced right!
service is way to slow, took 25 mins just to get a water, 10 mins to get a cocktail, 30 more mins to get appetizer... no excuse for that kind of service...
I have been to Lupo before, a few years ago before this visit on 3/24/2018. The food was HORRIBLE!!!! We were a party of 3 adults, each one of us agreed that the food quality and prsentation was a disaster. I will compliment the pizza, it was an appetizer. The restaurant is dark and blah. We will not return. If you want to eat at a Wolfgang Puck Restaurant I would recommend Cucina located in Crystals at City Center.
great food and experience. Dorthea provided excellent service, very attentive. When I told her we are local she told us about the free desert special for locals, the deserts are fantastic. the pistachio soufflé is a work of art. Cannot wait to return, Lupo was the perfect spot to celebrate my sister's birthday. Thankyou.
What can I say about this dining experience?
The service was spot on from the first moment to the last. The people could not have been friendlier or more helpful even in the midst of a large conference in the hotel.
Everything was delicious, but the star of the show was the osso buco. After the first bite, I felt guilty even picking up a knife. If was fall-off-the-bone, melt-in-your-mouth tender as was the gnocchi accompaniment. With any other meal, the tiramisu would have been a stand-out. In this case, the entree had already claimed the prize and didn't let it go.
I had the best Oso Bucco I have ever had. My husband liked his Pasta dish and the calamari was outstanding. Our server was one of the best we have ever had! Highly recommend!
Best Italian in Vegas!
We went to the Michael Jackson show and then had dinner here afterwards. It was fantastic. We ordered the shared pasta which the manager prepared at our table and it was delicious. The entire meal and experience was a delight. Highly recommend.
We visited Lupo prior to seeing the Michael Jackson Cirque du Soleil in Mandalay Bay. We had 7:30 reservations, arrived 15 minutes early and were seated promptly. The service was excellent, the food very good and the entire experience was very nice.
It's not the restaurant's fault but I feel so bad for Mandalay Bay. This is our first visit since the senseless mass shooting and it's obvious that Mandalay Bay is going to need time to recover. The restaurant was half full, as was the casino and shops as we walked through. The vibe just isn't there anymore and it's too bad. I've visited Mandalay Bay in the past and what we saw and experienced last weekend was so muted and quiet. I hope they bounce back.
