Valentine’s Day - we had an 8:30p reservation but were not seated until 9:30. Food was served very late. Incorrect dish was served. Waiter was overwhelmed and forgetful. There weren’t enough servers. Period. Very disappointing.
Good however menu limited, but drinks were delicious. I ordered the pineapple Express delicious btw. Wish they had more appetizers and dinner options for Valentine's day. Overall good...
Food was basic, not a lot of flavor and much too expensive for what it was. Service was good when we saw our server but were not checked on once the food came for a long time. Out of the gluten free pizza crust that is listed on the menu though it was Noon and lunch. On a holiday. Location was pretty but would pick somewhere else on the water next time.
The food was excellent! We made a reservation about a week in advance and got seated right away. We had a lovely waitress I wish I got her name she was so kind and I loved her style in earrings! Was the best early valentines brunch my boyfriend and I could have gone to! Also the house made sodas super interesting unique delicious flavors!
Fantastic view with outdoor seating which compliments the really good food. They have a great breakfast menu and not too crowded on a bright and sunny Saturday late morning. Parking is very convenient and close by. Service was very pleasant. Excellent coffee. We will return.
We made a reservation at an Italian restaurant for lunch. We were told they serve only brunch on Saturday & Sunday. We didn’t want egg at 1:00pm. They should specify that on their web site. The service was awful, seemed as though our waiter did not want to be there!
Went for their restaurant week menu, as we do every year, made a reservation since it was Friday evening. Hostess was off putting upon arrival, didn’t inform us that they weren’t doing restaurant week even though they were listed on the website. Finally seated, first person we spoke to didn’t even know it was this week, our waiter finally informed us that they had run out. Even though it was 7pm, it was just overall disappointing. Stayed because where else are you going to get seated on a Friday that late, got cocktails, appetizer and our dinner at the same exact time, considering how expensive it is, was really expecting better service. If you’re going to participate in ORW, than plan ahead, or let your diners know before they’re seated.

We where soooo disappointed. We wanted a nice New Year’s Eve dinner experience. Our waiter was nice but kept messing thing up. We ordered an appetizer, salads and our meals and everything came out at the same exact time. Except they brought us two appetizers and forgot one of our salads. The seafood pasta I had was inedible. The seafood was fresh and good. But the pasta was chewy pasty and the sauce was overly salty. My husbands food wasn’t very good either and the salad finally came after we where almost done with our meal. This was not a good experience.
Very poor Christmas Buffet . Harried staff self absorbed and not responsive. Big mistake for 70 dollars a person absolutely nothing at all to justify that price. Very , very disappointed.

Over cooked salmon and ham, improperly sliced prime rib watery mashed potatoes and poorly prepared creamed spinach. Dessert was lousy. Not a $70 meal
At the time of our 4pm Christmas day reservation the place was severely understaffed. No one was available to greet customers at the front desk (the hostess had personally to clear the tables due to lack of help) and only 2 servers available for the entire room. It was a good half hour before our server showed up to take our order of drinks. When we finally reached the self-serve buffet area there were no plates and the containers for some major food items - like Prime Rib - had not been replenished. The assortment of desserts was limited to only 3 items, one of which quickly ran out and was not available by the time we got ready for dessert.
To be fair, the food and drink quality was very good but with the lackluster atmosphere and poor service we feel this dinner was way overpriced.

The worst holiday meal ever. Never has a buffet been less inspired. Lumpy mashed potatoes and gristly beef, chokingly dry ham and insipid vegs. As bad as it was there simply wasn’t enough for the overburdened customers, each of whom was should get their $70 back. A true Christmas tragedy.
Price ranks up with the Claremont, but food was comparable to Hometown Buffet. Very under staffed accounted for the very slow service. Mind you this was a buffet and Sizzlers has way better service. I was waited on one time and had to ask for the waiter/waitress all the other times. All I needed from them was extra water and bust the dishes. People were constantly waiting for the food to get replenished. Duck over cooked. Prime Rib had way too much fat. Salad consisted of mixed greens Only with zero fixings. Brussels sprouts was under cooked. Ham was over cooked and dry. Mashed potatoes were watery. Pasta was so dry like it had been sitting in a pot all day. Cream spinach were average. The salmon were the only thing good if you were lucky enough to be standing there when they brought it in. Needless to say I did not finish my plate. The beer was even served incorrectly.
To top it all I was slapped in the face with a mandatory 20% tip on my bill.
Fabulous food, great service. Thanksgiving and New Year's menus were particularly delicious.
Lungomare just sold to new owners. It is great that they are carrying on the "Winedown" Sundays. Our meal was excellent & the pork offering was really good. Our server Robert was very attentive & personable. Hopefully they will continue to serve some of the customer favorites on their menu.
Food was disgusting. And they overcharged us. I can’t believe how bad the gnocchi was. The brown butter was a nasty paste and the gnocchi was FRIED. So oily I got a headache and couldn’t eat more than half of the little portion I was served.
The smell of death abounds
Disengaged waitstaff, meager sized portions, all at an overpriced cost. Used to love this place, too. Won’t be going back.
This place recently got sold and they fired their amazing chef and it has gone down hill. The pasta Bolognese tasted like ground beef thrown in to chef Boyardee. What used to be home made burata is now watery riccota with no flavor. They didn’t have meatballs or the wine we asked for. The risotto was inedible and had a ground beef patty and apples sitting on top. The atmosphere is beautiful and used to be a great place to go for dinner. We will not be returning any time soon.
I made the reservation a few days in advance. While on my way there, literally 7 minutes before our reservation for 5 people (including my birthday-girl preschooler) at 6 pm on a Saturday night, I get a call that the restaurant was bought out for a private event and it shouldn’t have been made available on open table. Sorry no table for you. Big Ooops. Not impressed.
Not their best night. We have been several times before, and now I know to avoid Mondays.
A Friday Thanksgiving!
We went with family for a later-date Thanksgiving and although there were no Turkeys or Mashed Potatoes to be found- we ate all our delicious Italian plates family style and everyone got to taste pastas, steaks, pizzas and several desserts!
The service was impeccable and the ambiance relaxed.

Had their Thanksgiving Buffet for the first time and was pleased we did. My husband, young child, and myself each got a plateful of our favorites, and each one of us thought our food was very tasty. I’m pescatarian, so I was hoping for a vegetarian or fish protein option, but alas, no such luck. The desserts were very good! Eating out and enjoying our meal by the water made for a very stress-free Thanksgiving indeed.
IT was a gorgeous day and we sat outside on patio. Lovely area. Not overcrowded- tables spaced nicely apart from each other. Great shareable brunch items

We were disappointed in the quality of the food. The salads were very fresh and delicious. However, the pizza crust tasted dry. It was probably frozen dough. The gnocchi was too salty. The gelato is in-house made and wonderful.

Yes, without question. The food was absolutely fabulous! We got there early enough for a window table overlooking the water--wonderful. Small complaint about service. I think we should have gotten clean small plates after finishing salad and antipasto. Kind of icky to put our entree on the same plate.
The service was beyond poor..management needs to really get more involved and get the staff up to par.
Although the restaurant is in the marina, the interior is very plain - almost like the breakfast room in an economy hotel. It's probably much better at night; we were there before sunset. Although the prices are commensurate with an expensive dining experience, the service was not. The bartender was good.

I've been to Lungomare several times over the years, for dinner and for brunch. But it had been a while. Yesterday's brunch experience was nothing like the one I had a year or two ago. This time the food was really mediocre, and a simple request to leave the bacon off my dish went unheeded. Service was not bad, even if we had to wait quite a while in a nearly empty room before anyone came to us, but it was a free-for-all. I prefer knowing who my server is. There were lots of people doing this and that.
My friend was super disappointed with her dish and she barely ate it. That was her first time there. Her polenta/egg dish had too much tomato sauce and was really salty.
Appetizer did not come till after dinner was served never seen waiter till we where done with meal never got bread or asked for other drinks and it was not busy
They have really good gluten free pizza crust. Thin, crisp like a lavosh, and tasty! That's a major find. The flavors of all dishes we tried were interesting to excellent. I'd recommend this place for food snobs.
It was Saturday, I previewed the menu for lunch, not brunch, but when we got there, the menu was for brunch and it was 1:45 PM. “The menu changes every day, the waitress said . OK. Next, there was absolutely nothing Italian on the menu. My friend and I each ordered the Montecristo sandwich, my wife ordered Eggs Benedict. The sandwich was OK. It had blackberry jam layered with the ham and cheese. It was nicely browned and crisp. The French fries were cold. My wife hated the eggs because it had some sort of chili cream sauce on them.
In summary, we felt rushed to order drinks and food and the waitress was distinctly rude.
I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant. The final tab was $150 for drinks and food. Very disappointing as I’d planed on eating Italian.
Food was not seasoned well based on the price point.

Never again! Server was rude! Drink order took 40 minutes. Bread service came 1 hr 10 min after we arrived on time for our 7:30 reservation. Food arrived 1 hr 40 mins after our reservation. Salads were bland (we had 3 different salads). Did I mention server was extremely rude and blunt! Manager didn't seem to care. Restaurant was not crowded. We had booked this restaurant because we had been to a private function 3 months ago in June and food was great then. Something must have changed. Very very disappointed. Waste of money and time.
