   I have frequented Luna for many years and usually go for the staple meals of the signature Luna salad, the squash/crab bisque, or the more recent menu addition of the crab pasta. These are all good options. This particular night I veered from my norm ordering a dirty martini and the Thai Curry with a side of rice as well as some delicious oysters. What a treat! Everything about this particular meal was wonderful except the overhead announcement of “the kitchen is closing” which rushed the conversation and enjoyment of the meal. This likely was an unavailable circumstance having to take the latest available reservation spot of 7:45 pm.

   We have dined here many times over the past 25 years. Lately, it has been hit or miss as far as service. The menu is interesting and varied but now has very few “great standard menu items”. Tonight’s food was prepared beautifully and the chef certainly is an artist! To begin, we had crabcakes which were very good, and octopus which was interesting. The bread was very good but only a tiny loaf about the size of a ciabatta roll for four of us to share. We had the sea bass which was cooked perfectly but not much flavor. We also had a burger and frites which were average. The Ahi poke bowl was delicious. Honestly, if our server had been more enthusiastic and efficient, the food would’ve tasted much better. It is extremely loud in parts (the booths!) of the restaurant- I wish we had asked for a quiet table. The service was very slow. Our server didn’t seem knowledgeable with the menu (but I wonder if she simply could not hear us over the noise) and more than once said she had been too busy to get back to our table. Our water glasses were filled up constantly but we were not asked if we wanted another glass of wine when our wine glasses were empty. Slow service and no wine is never a good combination. It has been over a year since we last ate here and this time was a disappointing experience, we likely will not dine here again. Sadly, it used to be our favorite place to go out for a nice dinner.

   One of the best restaurants in Spokane, maybe the best. Love the atmosphere, staff, and food & drinks.

   The food was unique and very good! I had the Ranch Filet and it was very flavorful and satisfying. Good verity of unique special cocktails, and delicious deserts too!

   So delicious for our special occasion! We had a corner table as I had requested something a bit quieter with elderly parents. Also, our guest of honor has a severe dairy allergy and they mentioned it as soon as we were seated and they were so accommodating. What a beautiful place. Delicious dinner. Service was excellent! Thank you for helping us make this a great celebration!

   We go here often for special dinners. This time the portions seemed half the size of last time. My daughter's $42 seafood pasta contained exactly two shellfish. Service was lovely as aways but we were disappointed in the food for the first time ever.

   The Kale salad was outstanding as always and the oysters served were fresh and very flavorful. Staff was very friendly and efficient. Great dining experience as always!

    We were traveling on business and found Luna via reviews. It is a remodeled home and is very charming. We were there on a nice day and it felt like we were at a tasteful garden party. Our waiter was excellent, very knowledgable and attentive. The menu has a nice range of options, to suit whatever mood you were in. The house made cheese and bun swayed us to the burger which was delicious and we had the crab cakes to start. The wine by the glass and bottle also had a nice selection. I only wish this were in my home neighborhood as I would be a regular. It will be a must next time I am back in Spokane.
