Cream crab soup is a must! Broiled fish was plentiful and well seasoned.
Understaffed. Seafood was good. Atmosphere ok. Chicken Picatta was better than expected. NY strip over-cooked.
Great experience. Service was good. Kudos to our server/bartender Heather. She made our first time at Luna memorable. We will definitely be back.
Service was very slow and our waitress forgot things but she was new and did tell us that. The food was good but my steak was over cooked and they forgot my side. Overall a decent experience but for the cost, the service and timeliness should be better.
Bartender was very personable and also was our waiter at an inside booth. Food was decent - seafood trio - crab cake great, shrimp seafood linguini marinara was large serving and good. Wedge salad really good; Maryland crab soup just ok; hardly no patrons at 6:30 on Friday night so we had great service. Drinks ok — but more expensive than our Camden Yard ballpark drinks 😳. Lots of people sitting outside and looked like takeout business good. Ambience inside needs attention.
Food was good, service was good. Overall 3.0/5.0stars
Place could use an update or even plate presentation could be more attractive.
At the end of the day, the food is good so I’ll be back!
Great service by the way
The luster of olde could use some new-age polish. This was a place my family, friends and I frequented. I saw it slipping a few rungs prior to the COVID era and now, it is like a cafeteria instead of a restaurant.
Best food in all of Baltimore. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something outside of the regular chains.
Terribly over priced. Filthy walls, things falling off the wall in the men’s room. Needs to be renovated in general. Scallop scampi had so much butter I felt sick. Bread would have helped.
We were on the search for a lobster dinner. We found it. It did not disappoint. Stuffed with other seafood was like a mountain on top of a lobster tail. Near stadiums, Hippodrome, Everyman theater and Baltimore (Royal Farms) Arena. Unpretentious dining.
The food was delicious, and came out quickly. I had the cajun combo, and the fish was seasoned perfectly, without being overpowering. Will definitely come back here again. A small nitpick, but would rename this dish, as Cajun Combo, sounds like fast food, rather than than the amazing meal it was!
Wonderful for party of over 10 people! Food and service are perfect!
Food wasn’t spectacular but the service and ambiance was great.
The food was terrible. The Scallops were over cooked and the chef left the side muscle on them. The steak was over cooked as well and needed to be returned. I know the assured me the meat was grass-fed but I found the whole experience highly suspect.
The banquets were tattered and dirty. The whole experience was terrible.
Received crab imperial instead of chicken imperial. It was overpriced and not what I ordered. Server told me I ordered wrong she heard me say crab after telling her several times I ordered chicken. It was $12 more and not even good. She seemed to refuse to take it back. I gave up and decided to leave a review. Not going back.
Ambiance was great. Specially in the back room! Service by Rachel was excellent
Garlic Bread is a MUST, all the food was really great and service was outstanding !
The restaurant was convenient for me to walk to during my trip, and seafood sounded good. Luna Del Sea has zero ambience and commands pricing comparable to an attractively decorated fine seafood restaurant. I enjoyed oysters and their “famous” crab cake (which was quite large for $22)...It was good enough, tho I would not really recommend or return - it wasn’t extraordinary, and sad inside.
Drinks were good, but food was overpriced
Saturday lunchtime. Bad weather in mid-December probably resulted in their being less busy than they should be. Food and service was fantastic!
It's perfectly located if you are at the Convention Center. Crab cakes are awesome. There are several fish of the day choices, made to your liking.
Awesome! The cheesecake and shrimp were amazing. Highly recommended!
Place needs a facelift. Quite expensive for the ambiance. Don’t let the white table cloths fool you. This is not a fancy place. Crabcakes had good lump meat but I didn’t care for the seasoning.
Great crab cake!
The oysters were outstanding--large, plump, fresh, and briny. I also had a crabcake appetizer, which was very good (all crab, little filler) but a little too much for me!
Food was good - especially the crab cakes. The place is casual - near the convention center, but also Camden yards so people had on hoodies, etc. It was packed but we got in right away with our reservation. Server was efficient. Decent wine list.
Has potential. Good soup, appetizers. Main courses over priced... had mussels, excellent flavor but tiny mussels, some shells were empty.
The waitress, Kathy (or Cathy?) was friendly, responsive, helpful, and professional. Food wise, the crab cakes were outstanding! Need to invest some money in updating the physical environment.
They would not honor the happy hour specials posted on Open Table. Shrimp and garlic appetizer was very overcooked. We left without ordering any additional food. Restaurant was empty for a reason.
The food was great and we had a very nice time. However, we went back the next day and had the best crab cakes in the world!! We also enjoyed a delicious soup!
Wonderful Meal, great service, perfect place to dress up, dine prior to a great show, and within comfortable walking distance to the hippodrome.
I was not very impressed with this restaurant. 3 out of 4 people did not get their correct order. An appetizer was never received as well. The waitress pushed us to get some dessert on the house, but then said she had to put it on the bill, but we wouldn't be charged for the appetizer (um why?). When asking for some wine recommendations, I was told that "price didn't matter, they're all good." Took a guess and received a good bottle, but some attention would have been nice. I was entertaining clients and was looking for a positive experience. It wasn't completely awful, but I feel we could have gotten a lot more value somewhere else.
I popped into this great little gem across from the Hilton....just looking for a great meal and a quiet place. Check! And Check! Bree took such great care of me - felt like I was a guest in her home! The outdoor patio isn’t fancy and is on a busy street- no matter, it was just right. Oysters - fresh and delicious! Seafood trio perfect! I really appreciate places like this - thanks!
best crab cakes ive ever had! only, very very very expensive. This restaurant had $$ on google, but it should have $$$$ because even though the food was good, everything was crazy expensive
Good, but pricey for the overall experience.
Crab cakes were way overpriced and the soup was not very good. Ambiance and service were nice.
The food was very good, you will get your monies worth. Just the pasta needs a little salt added.
Food was fantastic! Bree our server was exceptional!
Food was good, especially the crab cakes but way overpriced.
