We are locals and always are looking for a quiet spot for conversation, quality meals at a fair price. These expectations are always met, in addition, the staff and service are top notch, always friendly and accommodating.
Service was a bit slow. Food looked great but was not as hot as it should have been
I finally got the chance to try Chef Tony’s menu and it exceeded my expectations!! You cannot enjoy your meal without an order of the Green Chile Risotto Arancini. Oh my goodness it was amazing. What I was most excited for was the coffee rubbed steak that was one of the best I’ve ever had. The chocolate cake and fried ice cream were out of this world. Needless to say, I wish I would have brought a wheelbarrow because I was in the best food coma I’ve been in in a long time. Bravo!! I will be returning 💕💯 (service was attentive and professional. Very, very good waiter and support staff).
Our ladies favorite lunch place because the service is always outstanding, food is always delicious, everything is always clean and fresh and welcoming - love dinners too and brunch!!
First time at this lovely restaurant in Santa Fe New Mexico. We were completely blown away. The food was excellent so delicious so fresh the wait staff was so attentive the ambience was beyond romantic and lovely. We were celebrating our 51st anniversary. The chef came out to talk with us and ask how we enjoyed our meal. I can’t think of one thing that we didn’t absolutely love. I would recommend this restaurant any time.
We found this place on Open Table and went there for lunch during our visit to Santa Fe. It is located inside a luxury hotel so away from the main plaza but well worth a visit. The food was great and the servers were very attentive. The restaurant is lovely and has a great atmosphere. Great place if you want to avoid the crowds in the main plaza. Reasonably priced.
Visited for a four course prix fixe Thanksgiving meal. The pacing was fine and the dishes were delicious. Great holiday dinner.
Great Thanksgiving Dinner experience. Our server was great though noticed some other tables had delays.
Once we were sat it took almost 40 minutes before a waiter came and took our drink order. During the course of our two hours there we had little to no interaction with the staff. The food was enjoyable, but the service took away from the experience. Would not recommend patronizing this restaurant on a holiday.
My only complaint is our reservation was at 2, and we didn’t get seated until 245p. It was a special occasion and they ran behind. Everyone was gracious, (free champagne while we waited) and handled it very well. The food was outstanding and serviced in a timely manner. Wonderful experience.
Really poorly done Thanksgiving meal. I understand service issues, and clearly there were many brand new wait staff working, so that’s ok. The food was mediocre at best, with one plate nearly inedible. At these prices I would expect the food at least to be exceptional and it was not even good.
Disappointed that the restaurant seated us under someone else’s reservation and then missed crediting us as having shown. Logged us as no-shows. We spent more than average and tipped well for a brunch for two. Unacceptable!
Amazing food and service
Our dinner was fantastic and the chef was able to accommodate our gluten free requests. Only downside is the service, while super friendly, was very slow. Our appetizers took about 45 minutes to reach us because there was a snafu in the kitchen, but we were not told this until one or two minutes before they arrived. This delayed our dinner and overall we were there for over two hours. We had a 7:30pm reservation and did not leave the restaurant until 9:45pm. This would have been fine for us if we had some sort of accommodation or timely explanation for the delay, and if we did not have travel plans early the next morning. Nevertheless, the food was great and the staff was kind, just not as attentive as we would have hoped.
Food great, start service slow,
Great restaurant but a little hard to find. Food was great. Service was wonderful. I took a star away because the only female employee was the hostess. Yes, I talked to her.
Service was excellent, great wine, brunch was delicious! Will be returning when I visit Sante Fe
I had brunch for my birthday with my mom and BFF. Our waiter was attentive and the food was great.
Service from Carlos was wonderful, food was good. Menu is not extensive but the setting and service made up for it. Celebrating a birthday and it was just a real nice time.
We totally enjoyed our meal, we started off with the Caesar salad, my husband had the filet and I had the pork chop. Everything was cooked to perfection & seasoned beautifully. The salad was chilled and the dressing was very good. My husband said the pork chop was the best he has tasted and I agree. Would highly recommend.
Everything we ordered was delicious. I had the watermelon salad which was enhanced by delicious slivers of candied lemon. My husband had the Caesar salad and declared it very good. We both ordered the Cauliflower risotto and it was also excellent. The wine list is extensive but we stuck to the house margarita and a beer. Service was extremely good - helpful, friendly but not obtrusive.
Not to be missed, The meal was perfect, the service was excellent, and the ambiance was just perfect as well.
I highly recommend it for a beautiful evening out.
Four of us had lunch here during the first week in November. The burgers and fries were good, but the chicken panini left a lot to be desired. It consisted of a thick, chicken cutlet with a minimal amount of bacon and avocado. The result was a rather tasteless and tough sandwich. Even worse were the wilted greens in the accompanying side salad.
It's surprising that the management of this lovely restaurant in one of Santa Fe's prominent hotels would allow this to be served to their clients.
I had breakfast on my birthday! The service by Carlos and the team was perfect and my goat cheese omelet delicious. I had a mimosa to celebrate my special day and The team brought me a mini chocolate cake and sung happy birthday to me! Thank you for making my morning memorable! NoTE: We’ve eaten here many times for breakfast, Lunch, and dinner and are never disappointed.
Luminaria's reservation process was very easy and thorough. I appreciated all the reminders and confirmation.
We had a very nice private table for a business conversation.
I ordered the fish tacos and they were the best I've ever had!
Beautiful location and the food was fantastic! I had the fish tacos and the slaw was delicious and fish was perfectly done. The wait staff were fast and friendly. Loved the ambiance, highly recommend!
Food was disappointing especially considering the price point. Service was standard. Nothing special or outstanding.
Server Daniel was very accommodating and helpful in making selections.
It was a good dinner. We loved the wine selection.
Loved the flatbread appetizer. The entre' had a little too much salt. We like the ambiance of the place but not the banquettes, so we asked for a table. Older people have more difficulty sliding into a banquette. We'd like to see an expanded menu or daily specials.
Every dish was great. Burger Excellent. Cauliflower risotto superb.
This beautiful restaurant was such a treat. The food was outstanding and the presentation was very original. Definitely worth coming back to.
The Caesar salad, petit filet (generous sides came with it) and the blackened scallops (modest sides but well paired and plenty) were very good but not exceptional. The Service was reasonably attentive but also not exceptional. We were surprised that the Caesar we shared was not split in the kitchen. The complimentary bread was just OK.
A definite must! We went for lunch and sat outside. It was so relaxing and the food was great! The service was outstanding as well. Highly recommend! We will come back!
Wonderful first time lunch experience for all three of us will definitely be coming back in fact trying dinner next week
Food was good as was service. The new white color was a surprise.
Loved sitting on the patio at Luminaria beneath a leafy trellis on a gorgeous autumn day. The cheeseburger with avocado and candied chile bacon served with crisp, decadent french fries was delicious. Service was gracious and the setting was the perfect refuge from a busy day of sightseeing and shopping.
Best pork chop I ever had.
Went there for the green Chile cheeseburger as luminaria was a finalist in the green Chile burger smack down. Burger was nothing like the picture presented online. Burger was good cooked just right but where is the green Chile?? Frankly I’m Leary to try some of the other finalists. I’ll keep trying but so far nothing beats the mine shaft in Madrid. Buckhorn in San Antonio is great though.
We asked the waiter if we could split an order and he said yes. The dinner came out on one plate and when I asked to “split” it another person handed me a plate. I asked the waiter to please divide it in the kitchen and he did. I had 3 shrimp on my plate and the other person had one (not exactly splitting). The shrimp were cold and flavorless. When we got our separate checks, the meal hadn’t been “split” and when I asked him to split it he acted so surprised, but he did.
