Perfect Mother’s Day brunch!
Took my mom and aunt for Mother’s Day brunch. The breakfast burrito was missing eggs, and the green chili was disgusting. The skins were still on some of the Chili’s and it had no flavor or spice. My aunt got a breakfast that only had 6 potato wedges, two eggs, two slices of bacon, and two toast and it was $16??? Quite a rip off
Service was great and seasonal appetizers were fantastic!
Requested table in the Patio, it was closed due to renovations
The food was lack luster
Service Ok, it appeared they were short handed
Overall a disappointing meal
Food and seating were great. I purposely saved half of my very good dinner for a take home treat and asked the waiter to box it up. I was very disappointed that he threw it out and didn't compensate us for the loss. It was very upsetting.
we appreciated being seated in a side table which felt quiet and private…..very nice staff
The wait staff was kind and efficient, and the food was pretty good. However, we booked the restaurant in order to sit on the patio (supposedly one of the best patios in Santa Fe). The patio was closed for renovation, and there was no notification that the patio closed. We arrived a tad bit early, in plenty of time before our reservation to be informed that there was no patio seating, but it was not mentioned until we came back for our actual dinner reservation. It was a perfect evening for outside dining. If we had known beforehand, we could have gone someplace else.
Was recommended by a friend. This was our first time In Santa Fe and was very pleased with the food and service.
Food was very good, service was great.
Great Customer Service & Good food! Everything was clean and food was well prepared! Definitely going again!
Service was great and food was delicious. Loved the ambiance and coziness of the restaurant. We were just looking forward to having a patio experience and it wasn’t open yet for the season.
Nice place. The food was good but the menu was very small. Fries did arrive lukewarm and because of their small size got cold before i got very far with my burger.
Service was wonderful. The food was delicious!! Great Brunch!!
Superb food and very relaxing atmosphere. Excellent choice while in Santa Fe.
Steak was good and tasty, but came with a few ok fries and nothing else. Plates had no visual appeal. Shrimp and pasta could also have had some type of vegetable tossed in. Ok service.
Always enjoy their brunch. Mushroom omelette best in town-huevos delish too.
And having Carlos as our waiter is always a given our service will be the BEST!
My husband and I LOVED this restaurant, the shops and the decor and staff of the hotel. The food was excellent! I had Eggs Benedict and my husband the Breakfast Burrito. Both were sooo good and our server was thoughtful, accommodating and attentive. We will definitely return!
Amazing service I had a really nice dinner for my birthday. The food was delicious.
The salmon was moist and tasty, the risotto not too salty, and the fries excellent. Meat ordered medium was overcooked, and the burger bun was burnt. Service was pleasant but very inattentive and barely competent when present.
We enjoyed our dinner at Luminaria. Good margaritas, food & gorgeous ambiance. The host was extremely kind & professional. Our waiter was a bit aloof & left us waiting a few times, but it was busy night. We will return when the patio is open.
Great service 👏
I have been the world over and am quite the foodie, so have a lot of experience with service, food, ambience, and everything else that is the recipe for a pleasant night out for dinner, including patience to deal with unforeseen situations. This experience, from the moment we walked in the door to Luminaria Restaurant & "Patio", was a most regrettable one. Do NOT go here.
So much for making reservations! We walked in for a birthday dinner reservation made earlier in the week(2 people!), to what appeared on the site to be an elegant, beautiful outdoor experience with fine dining, only to be greeted by a host who gave away our reservation (we were exactly to the minute on time), and pretended that he didn't have it; when only after he called over the manager to "find" it saw that in fact it was there, explaining the table wasn't ready - also announcing that the outdoor seating I requested was no longer available because the patio was under construction that week.
This explanation after I called to confirm after making the reservation on OpenTable that week and restating that I wanted the patio, so we could avoid indoor seating during COVID. There was no mention of this in my call.
They then offered to appease us with a glass of champagne for our troubles in waiting. What we received were two HALF glasses of flat, warm, what I can only guess was, white wine that had been sitting on a counter throughout the evening.
After being seated we were given a menu that was not on the site, nor on the tablet out front of the restaurant. In place of the lamb chops we expected to have, we settled for a sub-par burger and caesar salad side that came with a raw and fatty "steak".
Due to the lack of characters on this site to continue, I will sum the rest up by saying: the service was anything but professional or hospitable, and the food was nearly in-edible.
Thank goodness my birthday guest found humor in it and chalked it up to "an experience". I did not.
We were sat and our waiter never came. Finally we flagged one waiter down down and he was upset that we called him. He rush into taking our order and was not very kind. Not the type of service you would expect at such a location. However, the food was very good.
Great spot! Wonderful waitstaff and excellent greeter!
Food was very good.
Loud patron at table nearby was obnoxious !
Very good food. Probably the best smoked chicken quesadilla that we’ve ever had. Wonderful, intimate atmosphere.
I happened to go early on a Sunday morning when there was only one table occupied but guests started to arrive. It is a great place to enjoy great food and be spoiled by their staff
Carlos our waiter was very attentive and caring. The breakfast was yummy, loved the huervos rancheros and the mixed mushroom omelets was perfect. Love their cappuccino one of the best. Will be back again.
Service was terrible. Both days we ate there the food arrived cold and had to be sent back for warming. I think it say ready for at least 10 minutes and our waitress never picked it up, so, we had to wait 1/2 hour for our food. At the prices they charge the value was negative. The Manager used the lame excuse that they were understaffed because of COVID, but, only 2 tables were eating and they had two waitresses. I would never eat, or stay at the hotel again.
It was my birthday brunch.
We sat on the inside-room totally to ourselves.
Our eggs Benedict and omelette were perfectly cooked and seasoned. And Carlos was one of our servers-he is the BEST!
Thanks for a memorable birthday brunch.
Highly recommend! Very romantic, great ambiance, church chimes in the distance, fabulous service and delicious food. Save room for their signature luminaria dessert. It’s well worth it. Prices are very reasonable for a higher end restaurant.
Very friendly and responsive staff and the food was good, if a bit pricy. $25 for a burger and lemonade seemed to be a bit much.
Ambience was wonderful great evening meal at 8 PM although we ate outside due to Covid law and it was a bit chilly
Beautiful Patio! Wonderful service. Perfect for lunch or breakfast.
Great food lovely outdoor seating. Roaring fire on the patio. Attentive staff great service
Beautiful venue, peaceful and warm with approximately placed heaters to enjoy delicious food!
Fabulous ambiance with overpriced so so food.
It was a good place.
My husband and I made reservations for brunch while in Santa Fe. The setting is lovely and very inviting. The hostess was a dream and congratulated us on our anniversary while we were seated. Our waitress was very disengaged the entire time. She didn’t put in a French toast order and when we asked the runner when food came—she was visibly frustrated and grunted under her mask. We were told it was not put in and she’s go to let them know. Our server VERY casually came by and said “ I see they didn’t bring your french toast out.” Strange. Husbands omelette was missing a side item which was not noticed at first and our server laughed and said she would get that.when French Toast was delivered I thought Presentation was too die for with fresh berries and caramelized bananas and a mascarpone! Then I took a bite to find the French toast came to table and was completely cold. Even the caramelized bananas. That’s when I gave in to lackluster experience here.
I understand things happen and everyone has a rough day. This was the only brunch we were able to have and was disappointed it fell flat after such high recommendation.
The atmosphere was fantastic! It was romantic with nice lighting and and a fire. But the steak dinner wasn't great. The steak was way over cooked. The Luminaria desert was fantastic and the drinks were also really good.
