Brunch was excellent. First time there Will definitely try dinner sometime
This was my 2nd visit to LuLu’s for brunch. We had a group of 5 for brunch on Saturday to celebrate my mom and sister’s birthdays at 11:00 am. We were sat as soon as the whole party arrived in the back area which was nice as the noise level was better so conversation was easier to have. The only draw back to sitting back there was the table was right near the restroom so there were random strangers hanging out near our table when waiting for the restroom. Our waitress was amazing and there were absolutely no issues with our orders. We had the red velvet waffles, chicken and waffles, TOA omelet, and corned beef hash. ALL THE FOOD WAS AMAZING!!! We will definitely be returning!! Great job LuLu’s!!!!
My family and I had a great first experience at LuLu's! We made a reservation and the diner was very quick at getting us seated on time. We enjoyed all of the creative menu options and were able to find something for everyone. The food came out very fast and fresh. Everything we ordered was delicious and the plates went back empty. The only issue we had with our visit was the ambient noise, but that's not the restaurants fault. Just be forewarned that you may not be able to have a fluid conversation. Overall an outstanding experience and we will be back very soon! Thank you!
The meals were wonderful, the service could not have been better. There is construction going on outside the restaurant which made gaining access difficult so plan in a little more time.
Valentines Day dinner prefix menu was affordable and absolutely delicious! Service was excellent. Will definitely go back.
Very nice atmosphere, great food and service
Great brunch menu! The hostess was kind of rude, but the server was very nice and provided great service! Our food was great!
Went there for brunch. Food was delicious! Had the corned beef hash and friend chicken and red velvet waffles. They both were yummy. The corned beef was fresh and the red velvet waffles were nicely dense. I'd def come back when in town again.
We had a 10:00 Sunday brunch reservation but waited over 20 minutes to be seated. Similar-in-size-parties that arrived after ours were seated before us. The hostess was unpleasant and unapologetic, and her excuse for our wait was she was waiting for tables to be bussed and cleaned. The restaurant was too warm and noisy. Once we were seated, our server, Jen, was terrific, and our meals were very good -- everything from the chicken and biscuits, to the BLT, the TOA omelette, as well as the Huevos Rancheros (photo). The Bloody Mary was okay, nothing special.
Amazing food I highly recommend LuLu's went with 4 and they all loved their meal
Lovely hostess accommodated our late arrival from out of town and need for a quieter table.
Server was good - we were not rushed even though they were busy.
Food was goo.
Food was excellent as always!
Chicken and waffles were amazing as usual! Bloody's always on point.
The waitress called LuLu's "Millie's little sister". True enough. Both serve hearty food with an elegant spin in a casual atmosphere. But little sister takes reservations for brunch, and that's an awesome thing for those of us who like to plan ahead and avoid standing in long lines. The Pomegranate Mule and red velvet shortcake are extraordinary! The Shockoe Florentine was also excellent--perfectly poached egg and delicious pimento cheese sauce. The artwork of the Main
Street train station is a great nod to the neighborhood.
We'll be back for dinner next time!
Great experience will be returning soon
