Lulu's did not disappoint! I have been wanting to go here since I moved to Richmond and was finally able to stop by for brunch. I highly recommend making a reservation because this place fills up fast! The service is great and the food was amazing and so flavorful. I definitely want to come back and try all the other food I saw being served :)
Awesome food, drinks, and most of all people! We will be back!!!
Only thing to say is PHENOMENAL! Great cozy brunch spot, with great food. From out of town, but will definitely make our way back for round 2!
Lulu’s. Was a nice atmosphere and brunch was amazing. Highly recommend to any foodie.
Arrived on time for our reservation. Waited a few mins for our table to clear. Ordered the red velvet waffles and they were pretty good! Def more cake like than a crisp waffle. The nutty cream cheese was delish.
The food was great. It’s is a bit too loud in there.
We had the normal Sunday brunch and the red velvet waffle is a must have when visiting!
Excellent food and atmosphere. It was very busy, so the reservation came in handy as we were seated quickly. Bloody Mary was one of the best I’ve had. We will absolutely be returning!
Great food and great service
I've LOVED this place ever since it opened. Wish it was open 6 days a week...
Great food, fun atmosphere, delicious bacon Bloody Mary!
Good food, good service but overpriced for brunch. Would go back in the future to try more of the menu.
The food was good. The server was a little distracted. It was busy and we all have bad days though. The food was great. I would definitely given it another chance.
There was a long black hair on my menu. While we waited for our food, we saw several servers and the bartender take out their hair clips/ponytail holders, comb through their hair and shake it out in the dining area. Just gross.
I absolutely love Lulu's! the food is delicious and the service is stellar!
As a semi regular the best comment I can make is; as usual. Have never had a bad meal or a bad time. They are generally slammed so you might wait a bit even with a reservation but it’s worth it
Food was good, but certainly the presentation of the food was not the best. Very popular place in spite of being hard to access with construction.
Came here for the first time before going to the wine expo as did many of the people there. The service was great and our waitress was friendly and attentive. So I had the crab benny, my sister had the crab and lobster omlette with hollindaise and my daughter the lamb omlette with goat cheese all served with breakfast potatoes. Everything was delish!!! We will be back very soon. Oh the bloody mary and tropical mimosa were on point too.!!!
Second time at Lulu’s. Both times the food was delicious and service was great! We need a Lulu’s in Charlottesville!
The brunch and drinks are above average at this trendy, cramped restaurant. Ambience leaves much to be desired and the music--which rarely dips below a brisk 130bpm--seems designed to hurry things along. Not an ideal spot for a date or a meeting, but for a raucous post-church get together or just a place to quickly enjoy some foodie-friendly cuisine, not a bad choice.
This is our 2nd time at LuLus. The first time our brunch was phenomenal so we made the decision that this would be our 1st Sunday spot!! This time however, the experience was not so great. The potatoes and grits were cold, the bacon was like pork rinds, two persons in our party asked for eggs scrambled hard and a whole egg fried hard, both received runny eggs!! The waitress was very nice and accommodating about everything which made the experience better. We will be back but hoping for a better experience. One positive... my Atlantic omelet was delicious.
Great place, my husband and I enjoy the atmosphere. We have been twice and my food was not hot not sure if they let the food sit under a warming light. Servers should work on timing when orders are ready. I will definitely try again.
Awesome awesome awesome. It will be a regular place for us.
Great food and service. Rustic ambiance.
I have been coming to Lulu's for years and the food has ALWAYS been consistently great!
We had a party of 10 which were split up 7 and 3. We understood but there was an extensive amount of wait time before she took either tables order and even longer for the food. But all were forgiven once we all took a bite of the delicious cuisine
Very glad we made reservations. The line of ppl walking in were turned away with a 2 hour wait. Great food. Peach mimosa was excellent.
First time, they stay super busy, and it was wonderful! Great service!
The food was pretty good, service was terrible. First one of our orders came out completely wrong (the server didn't write anything down) and another order had a piece of hair in it. The waitress didn't apologize when we sent them back. Then I'm not sure if they were out of clean utensils or what, but she gave us plastic utensils like you would get in a takeout bag (wrapped in plastic with a napkin and salt and pepper). We were the only people in the restaurant that had plastic from what we could tell. This was after we asked twice for utensils. We were then brought the check with no mention of the flaws. When we spoke to hostess she spoke to a manager who was nice enough to comp one of our meals. The waitress seemed pretty annoyed at this and literally threw our check on the table after we paid. We will not be going back despite the quality of the food.
Fabulous brunch food, drinks, and laughter. What better way to conclude my weekend in Richmond...Met the Mayor of Richmond (Levar Stoney) and the owner of our brunch spot-LuLu’s (Paul Keevil).
The food was amazing!!!
Six of us were visiting Richmond and went to LuLu’s for brunch. We all enjoyed our meals, red velvet waffles with fried chicken was a particularly big hit. Our waitress was excellent and the service team worked really well together. Loved our experience there.
Perfect breakfast after a long night out. Waitstaff was wonderful and the food was amazing. I am ready to go back and try more from the menu.
Brunch here is always a treat. It is usually busy, so a reservation is always helpful.
Our experience was great however with a large party, they were rude about seating some of us before all of us arrived and then called me to ask if we were still coming when part of our party was already there.
Brunch was excellent. First time there Will definitely try dinner sometime
This was my 2nd visit to LuLu’s for brunch. We had a group of 5 for brunch on Saturday to celebrate my mom and sister’s birthdays at 11:00 am. We were sat as soon as the whole party arrived in the back area which was nice as the noise level was better so conversation was easier to have. The only draw back to sitting back there was the table was right near the restroom so there were random strangers hanging out near our table when waiting for the restroom. Our waitress was amazing and there were absolutely no issues with our orders. We had the red velvet waffles, chicken and waffles, TOA omelet, and corned beef hash. ALL THE FOOD WAS AMAZING!!! We will definitely be returning!! Great job LuLu’s!!!!
My family and I had a great first experience at LuLu's! We made a reservation and the diner was very quick at getting us seated on time. We enjoyed all of the creative menu options and were able to find something for everyone. The food came out very fast and fresh. Everything we ordered was delicious and the plates went back empty. The only issue we had with our visit was the ambient noise, but that's not the restaurants fault. Just be forewarned that you may not be able to have a fluid conversation. Overall an outstanding experience and we will be back very soon! Thank you!
Lovely specially priced three course meal! Delicious!
The meals were wonderful, the service could not have been better. There is construction going on outside the restaurant which made gaining access difficult so plan in a little more time.
Valentines Day dinner prefix menu was affordable and absolutely delicious! Service was excellent. Will definitely go back.
