Lula Lounge is Toronto's home to live salsa, Brazilian, Global roots and jazz music featuring diverse local talent as well as concerts by international artists. Each weekend we offer a dinner and show package that includes a three course tropical fusion meal, a beginner dance lesson and great live music for your dancing pleasure.

    An setablishment for independent artists to perform and audiences to avoid Ticketmaster. Food is delicious as long as you note it's a snack menu. Drinks are a bit pricey. There's a reason Lula Lounge has been around for more than 20 years.

    The food was tasty enough, nothing special, but the prices were ridiculous! $14 for a little bit of humus and one cut up pita.

    We purchased tickets to see a concert at Lula Lounge on a Wednesday night. Right on Eventbrite it said “reserve a table for dinner”, so we did. BUT - we didn’t find out until after we were seated that they weren’t serving dinner that night, only a snack menu. As we really didn’t want to lose our seats for watching the show and we were hungry, we decided to order a bunch of snacks. They were truly awful. Some hard, greasy tortilla chips. Supposedly pork pastor tacos which had two tiny bits of meat in each one with some frozen corn and canned pineapple. The hummus and pita was literally a tablespoon of commercial hummus with a few pieces of pita bread and the fries were way over-fried. We will never eat at Lula Lounge again because of our bad experience with the food. The space is so amazing as a concert venue but, honestly, try to eat your dinner elsewhere before going to the show.

    I go to Lula often and usually have an amazing time, this time i went with friends because we were expecting Hector Lavoe tribute as it was announced and advertised . Sadly the band only played 2 songs in 2 hours which was extremely disappointing. As it is false advertising and the DJ terrible. Cutting the songs way too soon by the time we got to the dance floor he payed something else. Music was a disappointment.

    Great venue, Great Service, Great Food, Great sound. There was nothing about this place (1st time) that my wife and I can say was below a 10. Jeff-Thornhill, Ontario.

    Great experience for my two guests that had never been there before. Food was very good and Dave, our waiter, was excellent.

    This place is a gem! Food from the fixed menu was delicious and cooked to perfection! The build up to the live band was exciting. A few things that made it a bit overwhelming are, alcoholic drinks are expensive from domestic beer to the cocktails, fountain drinks are not refill free (wasn’t told, so I got charged for all refills). It also gets extremely full as the night goes on, you have people dancing right next to your table (can be annoying if you want to see the band play from your seat) basically you can dance anywhere and everywhere regardless if you’re in the way of the fire exit, around the dinning sections. It can be overwhelming. Overall, I enjoyed myself aside from the issues mentioned above. House band are extremely talented, DJ was excellent, food delicious (compliments to the chef!) hard working wait staff! I strongly recommend this place for a good time.
