We knew it was going to be crazy crowded b/c of multiple TAMU activities and were willing to risk it as our Grandkids we're visiting and it's their fave place to eat.
Food was delicious as always and service was good but just a tad slow due the crowd.
Only issue was they had a modified/ condensed menu due to a “special weekend”. We were told that notice was on their Facebook page, but would have been nice to know from Open Table.
Good food and service. Enjoyed our meal.
It was a date night with my husband. Very accomodating.. In the past have done couple of date nights at this place. Love the pasta they make for us looking into our dietary restrictions of lacto vegetarian
Food is great. Service was not good.
Anniversary dinner
The pianist was too loud and then conversation at the table was impossible if people where not speaking loudly. Which everyone started to do making it even louder in the restaurant. My next booking will try to be at a time when there is not a musician or request to be seated at the furthest table away from the musician. It was unfortunate because the food was very good and our server was attentive and informative. Once the music started we hurried to finish and depart.
We celebrated our daughter 22nd birthday and it was perfect! We made reservations for 6pm on Saturday night. Great atmosphere and loved the soft jazz music.
Lovely atmosphere however the food was terrible. Arrived at the table cold and tasteless. Not going back.
Very enjoyable experience with good food and friends and good wine also.
Excellent! Service was fantastic. Sat at a great table. Enjoyed every moment.
After our table fiasco of a few months back, we decided to give Luigi’s another try. This has been our “go to” Italian spot for years. And the food did not disappoint. One word of caution: if they’re busy, and there are only two of you, you will be sitting extremely close to other diners. You could share a table close. But if you’re OK with that, the food, music, wine and drink menu, makes it the perfect date place in BCS.
Enjoyed dinner here on an out of town trip recently. The food was good and atmosphere was nice. Piano music was an added bonus.
Our food was excellent. We will be going back with more friends.
Great restaurant! Live music excellent food! Definitely recommend!
Enjoyed my time there. Overall good experience and entertaining.
First time here and LOVED IT. We stumbled on to their 1st Sunday in the month JAZZ night which added to the overall awesome experience. We will return. If you like eggplant parmigiana, you have to try Luigi's. They have it with chicken too.
Food was just above average. Service was average, but a 20% gratuity was included for our party of 6. Waiter was very friendly, just not attentive. The service reflected the fact that gratuity was already included.
I will return since it is in the neighborhood and it has great ambiance. Maybe next time the food and service will improve.
Always great jazz entertainment whenever we’ve eaten here. Cozy atmosphere and textbook Italian food. We love it!
I should begin by mentioning that this was my first time to eat at this establishment. Just OK for me. I can get OK Italian food at Olive Garden, which is not what I was hoping for here. There was nothing spectacular about our meals. We each ordered a salad rather than a hot appetizer. The salad was good but it was enormous. It was more the size of an entree than an appetizer. Seating is EXTREMELY close together unless you are seated in the center of the restaurant. I could have easily reached over and taken the salt off the couple next to us’ table. You can’t really talk to one another for having to drown out the conversations happening on either side of you. I will take the responsibility for not calling in to make our reservation so that i could let someone know I was celebrating a wedding anniversary. It’s definitely worth checking out, but it just isn’t for us. I tell my employees all the time to treat every customer as if they have never been with us before and to make sure they leave knowing they got our very best.
This was our first visit and we loved the food and the atmosphere. Service was excellant as well.
Very expensive food was good but not worth the price. There was a large group sitting next to us and was very loud. I had to almost yell to be heard by my date. Service was great, server was very attentive. Interior was beautiful with decent live music
My husband and I love sneaking away to Luigis for a date night, however on this occasion, we were celebrating two birthdays. We had a wonderful time! Luigis is such a special place to go. The food is delicious and the wait staff is always friendly. I love the atmosphere, too.
I went here for a little late Valentine's dinner. The experience was pretty good. I had a reservation for 8:00 and we didn't get seated until 8:30, even though when we finally got seated there were plenty of empty tables. For what you get, it is a bit overpriced. However, the food was of good quality and is prepared nicely. The portions are rather small, but that is acceptable due to how upscale the restaurant is. The atmosphere is very romantic, and the decor inside is superb. Overall, 7/10. I would eventually go back for a special occasion, but not right away.
Mediocre at best. Vegetables were under cooked. Alfredo sauce was dry and skimpy. Scalloped potatoes were different with a hint of brown sugar. Salad was good. The veal was nicely done.
Awesome food and service!
Valentines Day Dinner, overall very good. But unhappy with the limited “special” menu.
Took my amazing, wonderful, smart, and beautiful girlfriend here for valentines! It was a blast! The ambiance is great, the live music really brings the place together. The decor was unbelievable as well. The food was great and so was the service. Would recommend!
I really enjoyed my food, but had bad luck ordering things that they were out of. First the wine then the entrée was not available. There were so many great choices that it was easy to find something else.
Really good food and overall service. Only complaint is there were several large groups that we were seated near which were extremely noisy. It made it very hard to hear the talented piano player who was on stage that night.
We chose to have dinner at Luigi's for a "quadruple date night" for Valentines. I am so glad the online reservation worked, and highly recommend using it! The staff was overall good at what they did. The food was good. Slightly better than Olive Garden, and priced about the same. Not a large food quantity, which is good if you are trying to limit the carbs and calories of intake. The atmosphere was AMAZING. Wow! What a setting! I am happy to recommend Luigi's as a great place to bring a date, or for a special dinner.
We had a table of 6, great wine, food, jazz band & dessert. Wonderful ambience and great service. Been many times for lunch.
Nice birthday dinner for my husband. Music was great, as always. Food was great. Veggies were mostly red bell peppers, which isn't my favorite but that's just me. Potatoes were plated using an ice cream scoop like cafeteria style. I would suggest going back to previous way of plating mashed potatoes. We will be back. We always enjoy coming here and we love the music and ambiance.
Music was awesome. So was the food
we usually love our night here at Luigis, but our entrees were not prepared as well as usual. We had the scampi as an appitzer and it was the best that we ordered that evening. We also had a salad that was good as well. But when it came to the entrees, it was a different story. We had the fettuccine alfredo with shrimp, there was little to no sauce. We also had the eggplant parmesam. There was absolutely no marinara sauce or cheese. It just was not the regular from here ... We were ver dissappointed tonight.
Food was okay. Have had better in previous visits.
We ate at Luigi's for a date night and very much enjoyed our visit and we'll be back soon!
Reserved this for family guests from Georgia and goofed on date of reservation. Staff were very accommodating and found us a seat . Food was fantastic and we had a wonderful time. For us the music was a little loud at times for talking but great music. I am sure we will go back soon.
Been a few times and is one of our favourite places to eat. Usually a good all round place to eat and sometimes with live music. On this occasion we had a table at 8 pm and I felt the service was a little rushed
I enjoyed the live music, it made for a very lovely ambiance.
