   When I registered on Open Table I stated it was my birthday. The hostess said happy birthday but was not offered a free dessert or anything like at other restaurants. Did not like area where I was seated. There were plenty of empty table but all the guest were seated close together. The people sitting next to us talked non-stop and I heard their entire conversation.

   Our 11:30am lunch on a Tuesday took 2.5 hours. We were 1/2 the people in the non-busy restaurant. Good food and cool atmosphere but don’t come here unless you have some time to kill.

   Man, the music was painfully loud last night. Luigi’s is normally a place for soft, live music, where conversations don’t need to be yelled. Not last night (Mother’s Day dinner). Amps could be turned down from 11. Service, drinks, wine and and food were excellent, as always. However, after 4 nights of college graduation dinners and Mothers Day meals, it was disappointing they were out of their signature lasagna. But, they’ll hopefully fix the noise level and Luigi’s will remain a standard in our dinner rotation.

   We've been to Luigi's many times. The food is good and so is the ambience. For mother's day, I took my mother in law and rest of the family there. I am from Europe and have a slight accent but I have lived here for 30 years and never had someone pick on it. The server, a young tall man, made me repeat every single sentence I said. By the end of the meal, whenever I had to say something to him I had to do it slowly and loudly, as if I was talking to someone hard of hearing. It was highly uncomfortable and could not wait for the meal to end.

   Took my wife here for mother's day dinner. The food was good but my wife wanted something that they had ran out of. So she was kind of disappointed, but I got the lamb chops they were really good but not filling. It was noisy inside as well on top of there being live music. But overall we were happy with the experience.

    We went on Texas A&M Graduation Day and the place was packed so that was pretty noisy...not the typical ambience which is only medium loud. The steak came out very uncooked but the second round was great. Wait staff failed to ask if anyone wanted parmesan cheese on their pasta but provided it when asked. Drinks, salads, soups were all excellent.

    It was graduation weekend so I under to a point but overall the food was not good. The pasta was so overcooked it was mush. We had 2 in our group order bolognese and there was little to no meat in the meat sauce. Food came out REALLY quick like it was all sitting in a warming tray. Server was attentive and good. Doing the best he could under the circumstances.

    On a packed weekend for graduation the owner was able to secure us a reservation for 7. Impeccable service, excellent food. The noise level I'm sorry to say prevented conversation with anyone not sitting next to you. Great restaurant! Give it a try. You won't be sorry!

    My wife and I have eaten here multiple times and have always enjoyed the experience. The food and service is typically excellent and we love the nightly music. On this last occasion everything was perfect except the overcooked chicken in my Chicken and Eggplant Luigi’s. That being said the ambiance, drinks, appetizers, my wife’s dish and the desserts were perfect.

    The service was fine. It was prompt and unobtrusive. Two of us had food that was barely edible. The value of the meal would have been very good except for the quality of the food. The veal scallopini was barely edible and the seafood crepes had a spice that was weird at best.

    Went for a celebratory dinner on Ring Day weekend with our Aggie. Wonderful ambience with live music and the food tasted great. They did mess up one order which was unfortunate but overall we had a great time. I would go again.

    We had a late reservation as is, and the staff was still nice and efficient with their services. The food was great and it almost seemed like we had a private reservation since it was so close to closing time. We got the chance to hear one song from their fantastic band before they packed up, which made the ambience exceptional.

    Service was attentive and friendly. Food is good but definitely not near the better Italian food I’ve had, especially for the price. Atmosphere is really nice, but the live music the night we were there was a little too loud to enjoy conversation at the table; however, we were one of the closer tables to the entertainer.

    We’ve eaten at Luigi’s often and always found it a pleasant experience but last night was exceptional. There were 3 of us and three different entrees. Each was excellent. The service was good, allowing us to eat at a leisurely pace while enjoying the music of the talented Greg Tivis. A perfect way to entertain an old friend from Houston.

    Everything was Awesome with the exception of the Duck dish value not what it should be, and seemed over cooked & gamy tasting!! I’ve had the lamb chops prior to this dinner date and they were awesome and cooked exceptionally well!! But I love this restaurant in every thing about it is awesome!!!

    Everything overall was really nice with the exception of your table. Top setting didn’t have enough room on the table for the food that we actually ordered or required. It would be nice that your tables could be a little bit bigger in order to enjoy whatever food off the menu comes to the table for dining. But everything else wonderful the food awesome and I am a New Yorker and I really really appreciate it. the food. Good job.!!!!
