Everyone in our party of 6 seemed to enjoy their meal. Service was very good.
Food was delicious, service and ambiance excellent and casual, live music fun🎶
Thank you for the feedback, Janis! I'm glad that you had a great time, and hope you will join us again in the future!
Everyone raved about their dish that we had during dinner. The piano player was great also. I have enjoyed this restaurant many times and at lunch also.
Thank you for the feedback! We are glad that everything turned out great! Please come dine with us again soon!
Awesome food and service. Only the louder than necessary live music made it less than perfect.
I hate to complain... but my veal scallopini could have been a pork chop for all I could tell! It was flavorless, chewy and quite disappointing. I was looking forward to a luxury I don’t make at no,e because I’m afraid of ruining an exquisite cut of meat. I am certain I could do better!
I'm sorry to hear your experience with us did not go as planned, Donna. Food quality is extremely important to us as we want each of our guests to enjoy everything that comes out of our kitchen. We appreciate your feedback and hope you will visit us in the future. Sincerely, Luigi's Patio Ristorante
Lovely atmosphere, excellent waiter, Jamar, and the food was delicious!
Thank you, Jody! We hope to see you again very soon!
Wonderful ambiance. Great live music venue. Reservations for 1st Sunday worth it!
Thanks Cathy! We hope that you will join us for another Jazz Sunday soon!
The atmosphere alone should be a reason to visit Luigi's, but when I had the first bite of my spaghetti I knew I was going to keep coming back. The pasta at Luigi's is cooked at just the right temperature for the perfect texture, and it's very buttery and light. The meatballs felt as if a friends grandmother had made them just for me. They were so good I ordered a couple extra at the end of the meal to take home.
The service was excellent as the waiter frequented our table and asked if we needed anything else. It was so often, I didn't notice when he would refill my cup, but the glass was never empty.
If you want fine dining with the comfort of Italy here in College Station, I highly recommend Luigi's.
Jeff worked very well with a lunch group that went from three to eight. Food came out quickly for some in our group had limited time. Excellent service. Food was delicious as always.
I'm glad to hear that Jeff took good care of you! Please come see us again sometime soon!
I’m not a lasagna fan, however because of Andres’ recommendation I ordered it and it was amazing
We like Luigi's a lot. The food and the music are good. The restaurant has a small but diverse selection of wines. The service can be slow depending on the experience of the wait staff and how busy they are. Overall, it is a reliably good restaurant with good drinks and food.
Thank you for the feedback! I'm glad to hear that you've enjoyed your experiences with us! We'll make sure to step it up a notch when it comes to speed of service! I hope that you will come dine with us again sometime in the near future!
This is our favorite date night and special occasion spot - always amazing food, great live music, fast and friendly service! Highly recommend to all.
Great food... Excellent Service!
We went to this restaurant for Sunday Brunch while driving West. I ordered Spaghetti with meatballs. It was the best I’ve ever eaten. Our brunch meals were so delicious, we returned Sunday evening for dinner. I wish this restaurant was located in our hometown.
Thank you for joining us! Glad to hear that you enjoyed your brunch with us! We'd love to have you join us again if you ever find yourself back in the BCS Area!
The food was very good though being Mother’s Day the service was a bit slow. I would recommend this restaurant.
Thank you for the feedback, James! We will try to speed up our service for next time you decide to join us. We hope to see you again very soon!
Be sure and call ahead if you want a particular dish. My Mom wanted the lasagna and they were all out of it because of graduation and Mother's Day weekend. They had a lot of guten free items which I really appreciated. The gf salmon dish was very good and the gf noodles were cooked perfectly! This was my first time there and it seemed a bit crowded but not sure if they had added extra tables because of the special weekend. The tables were so close it was hard to get in and out of our cubby hole. I would reccommend this place but maybe at lunch or a less busy time. I typically don't gravitate to Italian restaurants because of my gluten issue so wasn't familiar with a lot of the dishes, but overall it was very good and we had a very nice waitress.
Thank you for joining us on such a special occasion, Renae! Sorry about the lasagna! On very busy days, such as Mother's Day, we decide not to offer it due to limited oven space. It would create much longer wait times, so we hope that you can understand. I'm glad that everything turned out great during your visit, and hope that you will come visit us again very soon!
Three of our meals came with salad, and they were not serve. When our meals arrived, we asked for the salad and they offer to serve them, but we didn't want to spoiled our meals
I'm sorry to hear about your experience on Mother's Day, Delia. We are typically very good about bringing out items in a timely manner. We hope that you will give us another chance sometime in the near future.
Seven of us had Mother day brunch here. The was nothing for kids on the menu which seemed weird for a Mother’s Day brunch. They did agree to “sneak” the kids a pizza. The mimosas were good but our appetizer was forgotten and came with the meal. All the food was cold or barely warm. We’ve had several good meals here but today was disappointing for sure.
Thank you for joining us on such a special occasion, although I'm sorry to hear about your experience. We actually do have a kids menu, which your server should have offered to you. On very busy days, such as Mother's Day, we do not offer pizza due to limited oven space. It would create much longer wait times, so we hope that you understand. If you would, please give me a call so that I can hear all about your experience. Your feedback is important to us! Andres Tani Gen. Manager 979-693-2742
This place never disappoints - the food, service, wine, and music when they have it. This is easily one of our go-to date night restaurants!
Thank you for your feedback! We are very glad that you enjoy everything that we have to offer, and hope to see you again soon!
Super slow. My salad was warm, shrimp and risotto tasteless. Veggies and potato sides were straight out of a bad of frozen veggies. Pesto chic pasta came without the chicken and we had to ask for it. Wrong wine was brought to table. Waitress didn’t understand the difference between a rose and cab. Garlic bread too thin.
Meat was well cooked and flavorful.
Sorry to hear about your experience during graduation, Kathryn. I can assure you that all of our recipes are made in house. Sounds to me like your server wasn't up to par, and for that I truly apologize. Our servers go through a long training process to ensure that they are knowledgeable and prepared to cater all of our guest's needs. If you would, please give me a call so that I can hear all about your experience. Your feedback is very much appreciated! Andres Tani General Manager 979-693-2742
It was my graduation dinner. I’m glad we sat in the back room because the front room was noisy with the band. Overall the food and service were great.
Thank you for joining us!
Great evening. Get the duck.
Thanks for the feedback, Jason! The duck is also one of my favorites! We hope to see you soon!
Amazing place to go eat and spend a bit of the evening there with the live music and great food!
Thank you, Gerardo! Please come see us again sometime soon!
Food was great! Table was ready right after we walked in. This place has such a great atmosphere definitely recommend.
Good overall experience and service at Easter Sunday Brunch.
Love Luigi's, great meals and wonderful dining experience. We always look forward to our evenings there and the music.
Great place. Cool concept for patio dining but inside without the heat. Very authentic Italian food. Home run
Above average food in a nice setting and reasonable prices. One of our go to restaurants in the area-
Great Italian cuisine with friendly service and a pretty and unique atmosphere. The live music was a nice bonus.
Thank you for the feedback, Michele! We hope to see you again very soon
We came to Luigi's to celebrate ring day, reservation at 1:30. We were able to walk right in a get seated which was very nice. Our waiter was just an average waiter, bread was not served and we waited an extremely long time for our food well over half an hour. That is a very long time to wait with not your usual food service. My husband and I got the pecan crusted chicken, mine was cold. Several others in our party got pasta, however we did not ask them about their food. We come to Luigi's semi-regularly and it just wasn't up to par. :(
Thank you for joining us, although I'm sorry to hear about your negative experience. Just like many other restaurants in the area, bread is now offered only upon request (as stated on the menu). As for your meal, I apologize that it took a little longer than usual to get it served. On busy days, such as Ring Day, large groups typically lead to longer wait times. It alarms me that your meal came out cold! That should never happen. We hope that you will give us another try sometime in the future.
Made a reservation because it was Family Weekend, so we knew it would be busy, but we were very disappointed to be placed right up next to the loud speakers at the front by the band. The place was already noisy, due to the crowd, but we were there to visit our student and we could barely hold a conversation because of the sound level. I'd expect a better table, having made reservations 2 weeks in advance. Understandably service was slow, but at least the food was good and the decor and ambiance is appealing.
I'm sorry to hear that you weren't sat at an adequate table on your special evening. Here at Luigi's, we go through great lengths to hire great musicians so that they can make the dining experience that much more special, but never to take away from it. If you would prefer a more quiet table during your next visit, make sure to let us know while making the reservation. Regardless, we'll definitely be looking into more volume control when it comes to the music. We greatly appreciate the feedback!
We enjoyed everything about our visit! We traveled there to visit our son at Texas A&M. Over the past 3 trips, we have tried about the top 2o restaurants. This is one of our favorites. Definitely in the top 3! The piano must was a nice touch! We will be back.
This was our 3rd visit to Luigi's within the last 3 months. Overall is was satisfactory, but our last previous visits have been much better. Paxton was our server and although he was professional and helpful, not extremely attentive. We would go back and hopefully we will get someone who is better.
Food was good. Since it was lent I had the salmon and it was very good. Food was hot which was surprising considering, it took 35 mins from order to receipt of our meal.
Try the Pecan Encrusted Chicken with potatoes and vegetables. This dish is very good!
The bread with tapenade is good as well!
Nice, relaxed atmosphere.
No one is trying to rush you to finish and leave.
Music on Fridays.
My wife and I really enjoy Luigi’s.
Yes, I would recommend it, with some reservations, i.e., it only two people are going, better go somewhere else because you will be seated at a small table against the wall and really, really close to the next table. You can hear their conversations and they can hear yours. Select a plate that is spicy, if you want good taste, otherwise the pasta is bland. If four people are going then it is ok, but get a table in the middle of the restaurant. If more than four, and you want to visit, better go somewhere else because it noisy and cannot have good conversations.
Have eaten here many times. Will not be going back. One member of our party had a dish that was not prepared to her satisfaction. She could not finish eating it. The manager and chef both argued with her about it and said that it was prepared correctly. They never offered to bring a replacement meal and when we got the bill it was still included in the total. We asked for them to remove the charge for her meal and they refused. Our server rushed us the entire time, didn't know the menu or specials, and was unprofessional as well as a very poor communicator. Completely terrible experience; non-existent customer service.....last time we will waste money there.
Thank you for your feedback Grant, although I'm sorry to hear about your negative experience. Here at Luigi's, we go through great lengths to ensure that our customers leave happy, so it truly alarms me that you had a terrible experience when it came to both our food and customer service. If you would, please give me a call at your earliest convenience so that we can discuss about your evening. Looking forward to hearing from you. Andres Tani General Manager 979-693-2742
I was part of a group of four women, who are co-workers. The entire evening was outstanding in every respect. My only "negative" is that our table was very close to one of the speakers used by the live entertainment, making it difficult to hear the conversation at our table at times. The plus side was that the live entertainment ("Johnny and Lise") was OUTSTANDING! I suggest you make a reservation on one of the nights they are performing.
Thanks for joining us Kelly!
As usual the food and ambiance are always very excellent, the wine list is great. We try to go here a couple of times a month. Highly recommended.
We appreciate the feedback, Joyce!
We picked a "bad music" night at Luigi's, our go-to Italian place. Great food, exceptional service. But, on a Saturday night, we were serenaded by a rather loud, solo country singer. Just not my choice of music for an intimate dinner with friends. Luigi's usually has soft piano, a small combo, of other appropriate live music. Be sure and check their musician schedule before making reservations.
Thanks for your feedback, Gregory! Sorry to hear that the music wasn't up to par that evening. We look forward to seeing you again soon!
Nice restaurant, I like their style of decoration. I had the potato gnocchi with cream pesto sauce and chicken while my date had the red snapper which came with rice and mixed vegetables. We also had a glass of wine each. The meal was decent - not the best I've had, but far from the worst. Live music was a solo guitarist playing a mix of acoustic covers of old rock songs (and a good selection, at that) along with some mellow jazz.
All that though came out to $70, not including tip. I don't mind paying good money for a top quality meal, but I could have had something at one of several dozen chain restaurants in town that would be on par with this for half the cost or less.
