Best restaurant in OKC. ALWAYS LOCAL INGREDIENTS. Craft cocktails and creative menu. Frequented by famous chefs when in town.
Just the best.
Great food, great experience
My husband and I had dinner here on Valentine’s Day and we left so impressed. The food was exquisite and so were the drinks. I am obsessed with watching Iron Chef on Food Network and felt like we were on the show tasting the amazing food. Definitely telling everyone about our experience!
We had the prix fixe valentines day menu and every single dish we had was perfect.
We recently went here for our Valentine's dinner and it was fantastic. The food was delicious and locally sourced which is a plus for us. We sat at the bar right in front of the kitchen, so it was nice being able to watch our food being made from start to finish. We also got to witness one of the chefs filet the yellowtail for the evening which was very cool. I would definitely recommend Ludivine to friends and family.
Had the bone marrow (of course), it was too good. V-day treat for sure.
The food was not good and very overpriced
Bone Marrow shooters are a must! Amazing every time we come. Well done Ludivine!! Hope to see you for many years to come :)
The menu is limited which means to me they do a few things very well instead of a lot of things mediocre. The cocktails were excellent... above-average. All food items were very fresh and well prepared. The service was impeccable, attentive and relaxed. I would highly recommend!!
I think I would call it boutique food. Clever and unusual combinations that give you an experience of food. Sometimes they work brilliantly and other times less so. The creme freche ice-cream was out of this world. There is obviously a chef who loves cooking behind it... and for the price, that’s precious.
Always a pleasure and thanks for a great evening of tasty food and wonderful
This is one of my favorite places to eat. They were one of the first farm to table concepts in the OKC area and have continued to make it a priority. I always suggest doing the tasting menu if they have it the night you are there. But if not the charcuterie is amazing and get the lardo.
Wonderful dinner with friends! Highly recommend! Great food, service, and ambiance.
Always delicious. Never a complaint. Wait staff is always attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Great ambiance. Definitely a great place for foodies.
We come her for the bone marrow and the brandy luge after. You feel a little silly doing the luge, but it's perfection and totally worth it. My hubby had one of the best steaks-on special, 20 oz ribeye. We split it and it was more than plenty.
My wife and I first visited Ludivine for our 2 year anniversary and were absolutely FLOORED by the food quality, amazing cocktails, and fantastic service! We've been back many times now, and every time it's just as good.
Sometimes, we just get the charcuterie and a few cocktails for a fun and delicious happy hour. The most recent trip, we had the chefs choice 4 course dinner, and it actually blew my mind both in presentation and flavour.
Food was fantastic - as always. It took a bit of time for a server to take our drink orders, and similar time to catch him to order additional rounds, but otherwise the service was great.
My first Ludivine experience was for the NYE special menu. I would recommend this spot to anyone wanting to experience a little bit of what Oklahoma has to offer. Small atmosphere, amazing chef's table, and local ingredients!
1st Course Choice:
Salade de Chevre Chaud with golden frill mustard, bucheron pistou gratinée, pistachio, mustard vinaigrette
2nd Course Choice:
Pan Seared Sea Scallops with cauliflower, leek, radish, charred orange beurre fondue ($12 supplement)
3rd Course Choice:
Oklahoma Wagyu Tenderloin with seared foie gras, truffled potato puree ($25 supplement)
Persimmon Brioche Pudding with roasted apples, buttermilk semifreddo, calvados caramel
The salad was amazing! From the mustard greens, the tomato, to the dressing! This could have been a 3 ingredient salad and I would still excitedly tell you about it.
The scallops were cooked to perfection. The sear on both sides left a beautiful crust for a middle to melt in your mouth. The bed of leek and radish it was on top of provided a great texture contrast and a subtle buttery cream flavor tied well.
The steak wasn't as too die for as I had hoped. Ordered medium rare, it came out on the medium plus side. The foie gras tasted slightly burnt, and this is my only experience with the fatty liver.
For dessert I had the Persimmon Brioche Pudding. Whoever made this, I love you. I would put this in my top 5 desserts of all time. If you can't imagine the best bread pudding you've ever tasted and multiple it by 3, you need to call the restaurant and have the chef explain it to you.
Most creative and wonderful meal we have had in a long time. The tasting menu would excel in any city. Great
Once again I was blown away by the fantastic food and great atmosphere. I surprised the wife with a nice Birthday dinner and it was awesome. She had the rabbit gnocchi and i swear that bowl had no ending. My sirloin was amazing as well. I have no idea how it is so tender and the crust is just amazing. The cocktails.......they are amazing as well. A little pricey but they were something I could never achieve at home. What a fantastic experience.
Went in for drinks and apps. Sat at the bar. The Marrow was delicious! Fois Gras was also prepared well. Great cocktails and service. Certainly worth visiting!
Roasted bone marrow to spread on the thin toasts along with either the mustard or pickled onions was awesome - very rich. It would have fed 4 people instead of just 2. I had the omelette with spaghetti squash and my friend had the Croque Monsiour which we both enjoyed.
Decided last minute to book for Sunday Brunch, we were so thrilled last summer when Ludivines started opening for brunch. We had brunch back in the summer and we were blown away by the menu, I had the Lobster and Grits which had an amazing fresh but complex flavor profile, the crowning jewel of that dish is the lobster reduction. The crowning jewel was also my greatest disappointment yesterday because I had the lobster again and it was not nearly as good as when I had it back in July. Maybe the kitchen staff just wasn't on their game yet because we were the first booking nevertheless I was bummed the dish was not as good as previous. Otherwise, the service and the side dishes were spot on and we plan to be back very soon, we love this restaurant.
The food was delicious, the presentation was beautiful, the atmosphere was perfect for private conversation, the service was attentive but not overbearing. We tied the chefs choice 4 course meal which was a wonderful decision. We were pleasantly surprised with the good price point of the cocktail menu and will have to visit the cute smaller bar at the back.
We actually left the restaurant without trying any food. The menu was very limited and unfortunately we did not feel like eating steak that night. I'm sure it was good. The service was great. Everyone seemed nice and helpful.
Ludivine remains one of the top dining experiences in an ever-increasing competitive market. Unique cuisine options and wonderful cocktails make this a fantastic date/business spot for anyone who considers themselves a "foodie." While the back of the restaurant continues to push out great plates, the front of the restaurant is in need of some attention. Limited staff may be to blame, but our last visit showed some lacking there. Make no mistake, however, Ludivine stays in the rotation and appears to be positioned to stay there for some time.
we were just visiting okc and this restaurant popped up on lots of top 10 list and it did not disaapoint . i would recommend to anyone i know coming to okc .
Everything was exceptional....a true gem in OKC!
Atmosphere was nice and the staff were friendly, but the food was entirely lacking. We have been to all the “top restaurants “in OKC and this was one of my least favorite food wise.
OKC needs this place, hip and trendy. Charcuterie plate is a solid pick 3 winner as is the French Onion Soup. The entrees really didn’t hit the mark and not sure why, $$ without the touch that makes it ok to be expensive. I would go back because I think Ludevine is just beginning to hit their stride and, as I said, OKC needs this place.
