Ludivine is our favorite restaurant, last Saturday we chose the Chef Menu and substituted the halibut for the steak for our Main Course. The wine pairings were excellent, the salad course was a stunner, excellent flavor, spot on. The scallops were also delicious, perfectly prepared.
We always enjoy our evenings at Ludivine.
Thank you so much Deb! Your thoughts and notes are always welcome and constructive. I had the gnocchi yesterday and wondered if the problem might have been with my pairing. Certainly, it is a salty dish, but I don't think the St. Emillion did it any favors. I know the papillote is one of your favorites. I'm really sorry we missed the mark on that. That's a shame. Valentine's Dinner was great!! The set menu was nice and the options varied.
It's tough to do a restaurant during a pandemic. But Ludivine did it well before COVID and they still are. Splendid Valentine's eve out.
My wife and I really enjoyed the service of the staff and chefs at the restaurant. The only problem we had was the limited menu for Valentine’s Day. I understand that the restaurant is busier than usual on that day but for the price, we would have loved to choose more than three items. I believe in the value quality of service over quantity.

This is our favorite restaurant anywhere. It was our first night back out in almost a year and, as always, they were outstanding. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

The tasting menu was fun and excellent. Highly recommend the bone marrow appetizer! Ambiance is not too casual, not too serious. Great service. Perfect for a celebration dinner!
Starting with the good parts of the experience, we started with a charcuterie board as an appetizer, and that was quite pleasant. The board included venison, cheese, pickled vegetables, dill mustard, and various other pieces, all of which were excellent, and that's coming from someone who dislikes mustard. Additionally, the pork chop and grits (a surprisingly agreeable combo) were quite good, though I may have been rather hungry still, having not been able to stomach much of the previous courses of the tasting menu. Finally, the 3rd course was a pear sorbet in white wine, which was nice, albeit a tad unremarkable, especially for the price.
As for the bad, the first two courses were nearly inedible. The 1st course was a lobster bisque, and while I understand delicious foods can sometimes have offensive smells, not only was the smell of it beyond gross, the taste was no better (Understand that this is coming from someone who lives on lobster bisques amd chowders, and all kinds of smelly seafoods). The lobster was rubbery and hard to eat, and still the only edible part of the bisque.
The second course was scallops on a bed of vegetables, and I really couldn't tell you which was worse. Both were bitter and required effort to swallow, not to mention the scallops were chewy and in some places burned. I really can't say i enjoyed eating (or trying to eat) crunchy scallops. While I understand food can sometimes be less flavorful/more bland than desired, I don't feel as though I should have to pay nearly 100$ a person for food that's not just flavorless, but downright gross.
Finally, the dessert course, while not expressly bad, was bizarre. A strange ensemble of dark chocolate, pine nut brittle, roasted grapes, and blue cheese. It really wasn't the kind of dessert I would hope to end an already disheartening meal with.
With respect to the service, there was again nothing outright bad, though a little more presence would have been nice seeing as we were left alone a lot.
The online menu was different from the in restaurant menu. I had been waiting for a few weeks to have a decent menu option from their rotations. It was quite disappointing to show up and be told they don’t have any lamb and that they had forgotten to update the online menu for the week. I tried what the server suggested instead. The beef borguignon was one of the worst dishes I’ve had in a while. I could’ve made better in crock pot at my house. That’s a rough review, but hey it’s the truth. What a huge let down for a place that is so expensive. My dates Ora king salmon was good. Our salad and dessert was good. But I personally was upset and not satisfied. I will not be going back unless they make it up to me. And they overcharged $8 on their salad and told me I was the first person to catch the mistake that day... I should give one star for a wrong menu, bad entree, and overcharging, but at least my date had a good time, which is the only reason I didn’t speak up.
The best meal I have had in this town. Period. Was such a pleasure.

So impressed with the hostess/waitress/server all in one - she made it seem effortless. Intimate atmosphere. Creative food for those seeking to get outside of their comfort zone. Only critique was we were first offered seating by the door on a cold windy night, but did get very good seating when asked to be elsewhere.
I celebrated my birthday dinner here on a quiet Tuesday evening. The food was amazing, and well priced even though we didn't stick to the happy hour menu option. My friend and I split everything and were very full for just under $60 per person (drinks included!) I had warned the restaurant we were celebrating but no complimentary items were offered, which was disappointing. While I may not prioritize coming back for a special occasion, I will be back the next time I am down for splurging a little on a nice night out.
We LOVE Ludivine and I would normally give 5 stars. We just had a bad server that I had never seen before. Didn’t know the menu well, was rushing us, she refused to put in our initial drink or appetizer orders until we ordered everything. I told her we were not in a hurry and we wanted to take our time and enjoy the meal and company, but we continued to feel rushed. Another waiter heard us ask a question about a menu item and she just made up an answer... he then came over and corrected her after she left. We asked if she was new and he said no.
I hate leaving reviews like this but for the first time ever our service felt more like Applebee’s than fine dining. We’ll go back and I highly recommend Ludivine. My guess is that she won’t last.
Our server, Lizzy was awesome. The ambience is urban bland. The food was presented nicely but was disappointedly mediocre.
We always are given great service and are will to offer more than expected. I have eaten at the restaurant before it moved and have enjoyed watching it develop.

I'm in OKC, I have no idea what to expect, and I found Ludivine.
It's in a neat Mid-20th-Century building that's been laid out as a concept kitchen and more from what I could see. It was a Monday so they had a limited menu which is smart. I couldn't resist trying "Oklahoma Wagyu" - it was delicious. With kimchi and tomatoes as part of the mix it was over the top goodness. Good wine options too. I also tried a white cheese flatbread which was also very good, but I was blown away by the burger.
The host was super friendly and interactive which is a nice change.
If you live in OKC you've probably been, if not go. If visiting find it, easy location with parking.
Great service, Great Atmosphere, Good food. My wagyu tri-tip was okay, it was not medium rare and it was so chewy I couldn't even finish it nor could my husband. But overall if was amazing.
Food and drinks were great although service was extraordinarily slow. Maybe they were understaffed for brunch.

We were celebrating a sweet friends birthday. And they placed us in a private room which was sweet and made the night much more intimate. The service and hospitality was outstanding!!
We normally have a very positive experience, but this time was different. We at appetizers at the bar (which were very good) and got entrees to go. The entrees were very underwhelming. My beef was extremely fatty and difficult to cut with a steak knife. It had been so charred on the outside that it actually was painful at times to chew without it hurting my gums. My wife's Duck was over cooked. This was an outlier experience, but it was our experience nonetheless.
Love the food, the service, the ambiance. Just miss the aura, vibe and decor of the old venue...
Our server was new and sweet, but she got one of our meals wrong; she mistaked a pasta dish for the Waygu steak. My friend was kind enough to eat the steak, but was unfortunately charged double for a dish she didn’t order.
The ambiance compared to the prior location is not as homey; it left me longing for the low lighting and humble setting of a French cafe.
The chocolate flourless cake and coffee was delicious and probably our favorite part of the evening. Oh and the wine too!
Super cute aesthetic, seems like retro mid century. I sat at the bar which also overlooks the kitchen. It was neat watching pasta being made and everything else being cooked! The chef was really nice and happy to explain what he’s working on at the moment, he’s also super adorable 😍
Liz was our server and she delivered exceptional service. The lunch special was phenomenal, with a mushroom soup, small salad and very tasty pasta dish. Great combination.
They are literally short handed and it took forever to get ur order. The couple on the table next to us even left since after 20mins no one even welcome them.
