Wonderful brunch, good selection and flavorful food!!
Had a reservation at 8 and called few days early to confirm bday dinner. When I got there, we were seated 35min late and was placed at the bar instead of a table. Open kitchen is a good concept but place was too loud
This was a great experience. We were out for our anniversary and had a great time. We sat at the bar where we were able to watch the chefs. This is not somewhere that could be a regular stop for us though. It is a bit pricey.
The Chef’s Table with wine pairing was such a great experience! The food was amazing and the staff very knowledgeable and attentive.
Scrumptios food. Delectable. Superb service. Lovely ambiance. Thank you!
Very nice To stay in front of the kitchen and watch The chefs working.....
We read the great reviews and decided to try the tasting menu. Started with a cocktail which was delish and all the wine pairings were truly amazing. The food and service was another story!!! The food was so dry and bland. I gently mentioned the “homemade pasta” needed moisture/sauce to which our server decided to bale. Fish was over cooked and dessert was dry as well. As we were eating we watched the expediter, “manager”, and a chef boozing it up while working. Overall, we were not impressed at all and won’t return. Save your money and eat else ware or just grab an amazing drink here and move on.
I'm so sorry that you had this experience. Do you mind telling me who your server was, and what you mean by, "baled?" I hate that the pasta and the fish were not to your liking, and I'll address that with the kitchen. The server issue, however, I need more information to address. Thank you so much. --Andy Bowen, GM
We were so excited to try a local farm to table. It was everything we hoped it would be! The service was amazing- Laura was so helpful and made excellent recommendations. The food had us wanting more, although I don’t think we could have taken another bite. We wanted to dip a toe in before committing to the Chef’s coursed dinner and wine. Happy to report we will definitely be back for that!
Thank you so much for dining with us! We look forward to seeing you again.
The steak was tough and the beet salad was not to my liking. Strange texture on the beats from the dressing and not very much flavor.
The food was okay, the burger (blue plate special) was severely lacking in both the coleslaw and the kimchi, unless it was supposed to be both, but regardless I had like literally a single square piece of cabbage on my burger. The top of the bun was overcooked, like it had been left a bit too long under a broiler or some such, and the fries were overdone as well.
Normally I think the burger would be like $18, and for so many aspects of it to be lacking or outright overcooked, I'd probably have sent it back if that had been what I'd paid for it. I went Monday though, so it was only $12 for the blue plate special, and the group I was with mostly ordered the burger. I don't really know how everyone else felt about it, but mine was underwhelming to say the very least.
Thank you so much for your comments. I'm sorry that your burger wasn't better prepared. I hope you'll come back soon and give us a chance to redeem ourselves. I'd love to buy your next burger! --Andy Bowen, GM
Very high quality ingredients that were well prepared. Please be aware that they have a very small menu so check the day you wish to go to make sure you like what you see.
The waiter less than attentive.
The Waygu steak was terrible!!!
A steak knife could hardly cut it.
Sea scallops were great.
The salad was the best along with the cocktails.
I'm so sorry that this was your experience. I hope you'll give us another chance soon. Please let me know when you plan to come in. I'd love to buy your dinner for the chance to redeem ourselves.
We loved it! The new restaurant space is beautiful, welcoming and the atmosphere was comfortable. We can’t wait to come back and bring along some friends!!!
Good service, food was poor. We were disappointed as we came in to okc for our anniversary on a recommendation.
Great service and ambience. I came just for the appetizers, but it seemed overpriced for what we got. I got 3 out of 4 of the appetizers. Most likely won't return.
I enjoyed my dinner... wife wasn't impressed with hers.
Had the lavender cake appetizer; then the lamb shank entree. That was delicious.
This restaurant is fun to try once- service is good- wine list is good- their new building is nice- prices are high.
We went early on a Wednesday to experience the chefs tasting menu. Each dish was carefully prepared and plated. The attention to detail was evident. This is an intimate restaurant with different seating options. We truly enjoyed our grilled lobster dish. What a great way to celebrate our anniversary- we were treated with a champagne toast!
Love the new location and the bar area is very cool. Great touch with the vintage portraits within the mid century decor and building.
Salad and entree were delicious.
Could improve the desserts. Not up to the quality of the previous courses.
Overall we had a delightful time.
We arrived early, hostess was very casual and not very engaging, not rude though. The lamb was very good the gnocchi was warm, had an unfortunate item (blue rubber band) in it and the dish was not charged. The next gnocchi dish looked much more appetizing and refined. I don’t understand the commitment level and the inconsistency of the dishes. I will not return or refer the location.
Hi Paul, It sounds like your experience at Ludivine did not meet our standard for the guest experience. I'm very sorry for that, and I hope you will give us another chance. We'd love to host you and a guest at our cost, both as a gesture of apology and also so that you can have the sort of experience at Ludivine that we demand of ourselves. You can reach me at andy@ludivineokc, and thank you so much for your review and the opportunity it gives us to be better.
We have been a fan of Ludivine and we’re very excited to share with others. Food was adequate, but nothing special and SLOW. Our server was friendly, but inattentive. Didn’t check during long wait(1hour ) for food and came and checked as we were taking last bite. The French toast was good, but we got as an appetizer, and just ate off the 1 plate because no one asked if we would like little plates to share. Overall very disappointed. I will give another try because have been blown way by the food before. The new place is amazing!!
Hi Stephanie, Thank you for your comments. Without this type of criticism, it's very difficult to improve. And it sounds like we really need to improve! I'm sorry that this was your most recent experience at Ludivine, and I'm glad to hear you say that you'll give us another try. Please contact me at andy@ludivineokc before you do. I'd like to offer you and a guest a Ludivine experience on us. It's our way of making amends. Again, thank you, and we look forward to seeing you again!
Ludivine is the best restaurant in Oklahoma City hands down.
The patio was a little cool that morning but the weather is so variable this time of year. All of the food was delicious. The steak and eggs were exceptional.
Super disappointed. This is the first time I’ve ever had a bad experience here. We did the Cher’s tasting menu. The first course was wonderful. The second one came out cold. All three of our entrees were cold. I sent them back. Because I sent it back I could see and hear a server (not mine- mine was very nice) and a chef snicker about me sending it back. We then got our third course and my husband’s and friend’s were lovely. Mine was so over-cooked and I didn’t send it back because I didn’t want to be ridiculed again for doing so. I was very unhappy about the experience.
Delicious food, trendy decor. A great choice for an evening out with friends or business associates.
Chicken Schnitzel was perfection ❤
Still true to the original quality after moving to the new location
My wife and I both enjoyed the Chef’s Tasting menu very very much. It would have been a good value at the regular price, but at 50% off, it was an insanely good deal. The new space is beautiful and the service was as good as ever. Get to Ludivine!!
We love this place. The duck was to die for. I love the location and next time I will make reservation for the chefs table.
Really great food. However we weren’t sat until an hour after our reservation time.
My experience here was awesome. Just a day to relax and drink cocktails.
I didn’t give the food five stars because the dessert from the tasting menu was a complete miss. Everything else was excellent.
Parking is a major issue. Do you and your party of however many a favor and use alternative transportation methods to arrive. The aloof ambiance is not what I expected and the food was good but not great. It's more of a place to go if you are looking for a snack and drinks because the portions are tiny. They may have been going for quality over quantity but the quality has to be superior when your fish entree is a one inch cube. Better keep your alternative transportation on speed dial since this location isn't close enough to the hot spots downtown to comfortably walk.
We ordered the tasting menu this time, and although we didn’t love all the food, it was prepared and presented beautifully. If you’re epicureally adventurous, you’ll eventually try something that doesn’t appeal to you.
My wife and I both had one portion of one dish on the tasting menu that we didn’t enjoy (different dishes for each of us). We can still appreciate well prepared and presented food even if we didn’t like something.
We were at the new location after 8 on a Wednesday so the restaurant was not busy. We sat on the patio and enjoyed the evening. If we have a complaint, it would be the drunk homeless man who came and begged money from us while we were eating. Otherwise we enjoyed our meal thoroughly.
Great dining experience
Outstanding dinner. We went for our anniversary and we were not disappointed. Very hip atmosphere and the food was fantastic.
We absolutely loved the new location! Ludivine consistently Wows!
It was opening night, and they discounted our ticket as well as comped us a few drinks, but we were there for 3 hours. It was a fantastic evening out so all was not lost. Food was amazing, drinks were amazing, services was just slow slow slow and a tad inattentive.
I am the Executive Chef of Amelia's in downtown Tulsa. Amelia, my Sous Chef, and I were in town for a food show. We had lunch with you because of all the recommendations we had from friends. You did not let us down. The cheese and charcuterie, tarte flambe, burger, pasta, and schnitzel were so clean, well thought out, and executed efficiently. The timing of the dining was spot on. Wine (goblesburg? I am not a wine guy, but Amelia is) was beautifully chilled and refreshing.
We were most impressed with the restaurants appearance. Such a beautifully re-done space. Lightning was great from the high windows.
The staff were so attentive, and pleasant.
We will always recommend you to anyone.
Let's do a collaborative dinner some day!
We had not been to Ludivine in a long time. It was fantastic! The food, wine and service were awesome!
