This restaurant is a perfect example of why you should normally avoid hotel restaurants. With a built-in clientele, there is no incentive for greatness. In an otherwise beautiful hotel, the restaurant space is small and uninviting. Brunch menu was limited. Service was terrible. Food was below average in taste, ranging from dry to bland to just boring. The price point was average. Two groups sat down and left before ordering; that should tell you something (and I wish I would have made the same decision). There are dozens of spots for brunch in Napa Valley. Don't waste your time or money on this one.

We choose this restaurant because we had our dog and they are pet friendly.
It was way too cold to sit out side so we ate in the bar lounge and the pooch was allowed in the lounge. They brought him water and homemade organic treats! The service was amazing! the dog got in the way of the server and she dropped 2 champagnes that broke all over the floor. They handled it so great, we felt so bad and embarrassed that the dog basically tripped her!

The food is all local and organic so that was another reason we wanted to dine at Lucy. We came for brunch and food was great and cooked just as we asked. We were very pleased! Thank you Oscar to you and your team for a great dining experience.

Very good and great service. It was quiet, we felt like we had the restaurant to ourselves. We had a drink at the bar , the bar tender prepared good drinks.

The breakfast has been good and healthy.

We visit Napa at least twice a year and we always have breakfast here @ Lucy’s. The food is organic and yummy. My favorite is the French toast.

Truly miserable experience, Went there for anniversary breakfast with reservation. They did not have a seat for us, so we were given the option to sit outside. We were told that we would have heat lamps, but they were out of propane. Finally they offered to move us inside and not one server came to the table. We finally flag somebody down after 15 minutes. Finally got our order and it was wrong. We try to explain it to the waiter and he came back with a completely different order. We got to the point where nobody would make eye contact knowing we were unhappy with service. The manager came up to our table asking how her meal was in we explain to them very nicely that it was disappointing. His response was I’m sorry and left the table. Not asking any clarifying questions. Clearly this is not the standard that they claim to uphold. So I hope that they take the time to figure out where their downfalls were and find a solution

Since eating in numerous restaurants over the years in Napa, this is the highest corkage fee we have come across -$50/bottle! The food was good not wonderful. The service was very good.

Excellent breakfast. My wife is gluten intolerant and she said the toast was wonderful. Eggs Benedict was perfectly prepared. Service was very polite. Overall nice place. Highly recommended but a little pricey.

Very good service but a somewhat bare room with poor acoustics. The starter was excellent but the main course a miss. Too much going on.

Great meal. Food was delicious. Wines are way overpriced. Corkage fee at 50 dollars per bottle is also expensive.They wave it if you buy a bottle from them but if having done net for 2 that is not helpful.

We are locals and have been coming to Lucy periodically for years; we have had both good and poor experience mostly related to service. Today's visit was overall a disappointing and expensive experience. The venue is nice and upscale; the table service was quite good and much improved from prior years and saved the meal. However the food is simply too complicated and the plates too busy. The wine list has degraded over the years and today is far too limited and seriously overpriced. And to charge $50 per bottle for corkage fee is insulting. I don't see us returning anytime soon unless some material changes take place. What a shame.

Stayed at Bardessono for a night and included Lucy. Slow night for the restaurant but perfect for our date. Delicious food and very nice glasses of wine. We did find the King’s Cup a bit too sweet for our tastes but everything else was wonderful. Next time we may skip the risotto but it may have just paled in comparison to the other dishes.

Amazing food. Beautiful setting. The only hitch was they were about 20 minutes late on seating us for our reservation and service was rather slow. However, they did send us a complimentary appetizer and comped a corkage fee and gave us a comp glass of champagne to make it up. I would definitely go there again.

The servers were good but the atmosphere needs a lot of work. My food was mediocre - the beet salad, which was to be the house specialty - was very very light on the cheese and too heavy on very cold beets, my scallop main course with corn pancakes (too salty and did not seem to be cooked enough) was better but in a food town like Yountvile there are far too many other choices. My husband’s meal of gnocchi appetizer and salmon main course was better - but the ambiance, need to drastically improve (only 3 tables seated at 7pm, no music and kitchen noise reverberating through the space) this was our second visit but there won’t be a third.

Considering Lucy is a five-minute walk from the Michelin Three-Star French Laundry in Yountville, this modern restaurant is a hidden gem. We had the dining room to ourselves on a Sunday night only six weeks after the Atlas fires roared within a mile of the property. It was a beautiful dinner, full stop. My wife and I shared two starters - a baby beet salad with fried goat cheese and hand-rolled gnocchi in kale pesto, tartufata and parmesan. The main dish was memorable, we each had the sesame ahi tuna, and it was the best we've ever had. The oyster mushrooms around the sliced tuna chunks were mysterious and full of different flavors - we chased down the chef later to congratulate and get his explanation "sautéed two hours in white wine and grapeseed oil at low temperature". Add in the baby bok choy, sea beans and chinese noodles, and we even mentioned this dish to our hosts the next evening when we ate at the French Laundry. But that's another story. Lucy is worth the visit when you come to Napa.

The menu said that it had a half chicken dinner. I ordered it and received a piece of a breast and half of a wing. No drum stick or thigh. The taste was excellent though. My wife ordered soup and it was cold when she received it so she sent it back. We were the only people there so these mistakes should not have happened. We’ll try it again.
