Lucy & the Wolf
The restaurant's interior is completely refurbished, with reclaimed wood and brick walls and a wrap-around zinc bar. And while the simple and sleek look is a draw, it's all about the food.
The food and drinks have an old world charm with a new world twist. There is a definite Spanish flair to many of the dishes.
The intimate 60-seat restaurant is ideal for casual dining and drinks, where plates can be shared and friends found at the bar. From aged classic cocktails to a grilled fruit sangria, as well as craft beer and a well-chosen wine list-it's a well thought out and carefully orchestrated bar.
This was my first visit. Loved the food—the clams and shrimp were amazing and seasoned perfectly. So we’re the potatoes and asparagus. Large portions, great service. Will definitely be back.
Always the best! Carley is always on point with suggestions and runs the front end as professional as anyone I have seen.
The menu is somewhat limited, but each of the items we shared was obviously meticulously prepared and delicious. The service was superb, the food was great, and the atmosphere was casual and relaxed, yet quiet enough for normal conversation. We will be back!
A wonderful place to go with friends. Interesting creative and very tasty food served in small plates makes for a congenial relaxing evening.
We were seated at a 2 top half booth in a bank. Two more ladies were seated next to us and spoke loudly so we had noise issues.
Also, the menu ink is light and print is tiny, bring readers. I used my phone to magnify.
They dont offer lemonades or flavored teas so limited non alcoholic beverages.
We shared the perch. The warm potato salad was very flavorful. The perch was cooked beautifully and the mustard seed gave it amazing flavor.
Pricey small plates but delicious.
Great food and great atmosphere !
Would love barstools with backs.
Sittin’ on your toosh and leaning on the bar does not promote spine comfort.
Really like food concepts here!! Offers something different ! Always enjoy going here. Plus assume staff!
This place is always great, with high quality food and best drinks in 275 corridor.
Lucy & the Wolf never disappoints! A friend and I split the roasted tomatoes (so,so good), the charcuterie plate, and the Wolf burger sliders. The burgers were the bomb - I would eat those every day! Fun atmosphere, delicious food, great service, creative and tasty cocktails. The only negative is the noise level....it gets pretty loud on a busy weekend evening.
We love unusual and interesting food...but had a hard time finding anything we liked on this menu. Settled on the sliders, which were decent at best. Also had shrimp tacos, which were the smallest shrimp I’ve ever seen. Bait shrimp used to fish, are bigger than the shrimp in the tacos. Drinks were the most redeeming part of our experience. Would only recommend if other Northville eateries are on a wait.
Love this place - chilled soup was amazing and the service was fantastic.
We did not know it was tapas, but it did not make a difference. The deviled eggs, roasted green beans, wolf burger, and perch were all delicious, but not as sweet as the mini donuts!
I've been here twice and each time had a good experience. It's a tapas/small plate style of place and I enjoy that. The food has been consistent and good. As with tapas, some dishes are better than others, but overall everything was well done. For me the highlight is always their cocktails, especially the barrel aged ones. I also like that they change up their menu. They had different items on my second visit and I appreciated having new options. It's also nice that they are open until 12 on the weekends as we usually prefer to eat later and it gives us the option to relax, order a few dishes over time, and then hang at the bar for an after dinner cocktail if we want. We will return and we do recommend the place.
Ryan was fantastic! He helped ensure preparation of the meal was accurate and to my liking. Polenta shouldn't be burned at the edges... The deviled eggs and mini donuts were out of this world!
Our server Jack was so nice! He was so kind and efficient as our server. Lucy & the Wolf is my favorite place to eat in Northville. All of the small plates are yummy. I will be back again and again with friends and family.
Very limited menu, under sized portions, questionable quality
I have enjoyed Lucy & the Wolf 's salmon tartare several times. With this visit I was disappointed that they no longer serve it and the on-line menu has not been updated to reflect the change. The salmon option offered in it's place did not compare.
Excellent food and good ambience, will go back again soon
Overall we had a positive experience. It was our first time dining here. I will say that I didn't enjoy how close the tables were to each other. All I could here was the conversation next to us and it was a bit noisy. The food overall was good. Salad was average, goat cheese was good, salmon and burgers were delicious. Drinks were pricey, but tasty. Server was attentive. The dining experience had some highs and lows.
Our server Jack was awesome, and very attentive. Everything was great but We LOVED the Wolf Burger and biscuits. The only downfall was that we were too full for dessert! ;)
Seated quickly on a Tuesday night; owner/waiter was very helpful and pleasant. Not many folks in the restaurant through our meal, but it was regularly (uncomfortably) loud, in our opinion, since the tables are right next to the bar. Menu didn't give us a good feel as to what we would actually get with our meal, and had to ask lots of questions. Fish was very fresh and well prepared, and worth the $18/plate cost. However, we thought the "blue mitten" salad we shared before our entrees was a bit steep at $10, for what we got. Overall nice experience.
Excellent food! Great service as always!
The service was excellent and the food was delicious. This was our first visit after raves from family members and we will definitely go back.
bartender girl was excellent very friendly and gave us lots of information. asked to sit in a booth but hostess didn’t even acknowledge my statement and said they had us at a table. would hav been nice to advise why we couldn’t sit in a booth
Great place for small plates and craft cocktails. We will be back!
Great aged cocktails!
One of my favorite restaurants! Superb food!
We love the old fashion cocktail and the food is quite decent. The pub cheese is tasty.
Always enjoy Lucy & the Wolf. Great service, good food, and good drinks. Perfect place for small plates.
Great food and service! Seasonal menus that change frequently and a great drink menu as well.
Food was fantastic as was the service. Will be back again.
Stinky grill. Great food. Awesome service
Not only did we have an amazing waitress that recommended the most amazing dishes, but the food itself was excellent! The Biscuits are a MUST!
Great meal with interesting selection options. Great service.
The menu is always wonderful! They added a few new items which was a nice surprise. great food to share and try lots of different things.
A cool little place with a nice crowd, well-equipped bar and really creative food. I’d definitely go back.
Lucy and the Wolf is a nice place to enjoy drinks with friends. The booths are nice, as well as the bar, and the service was excellent. My only complaint is with the food, which is just average.
Overall, I would recommend it for their nice drink menu and appetizers.
It was yummy. The potatoes were amazing and so was the burger!
