Lucy & the Wolf
The restaurant's interior is completely refurbished, with reclaimed wood and brick walls and a wrap-around zinc bar. And while the simple and sleek look is a draw, it's all about the food.
The food and drinks have an old world charm with a new world twist. There is a definite Spanish flair to many of the dishes.
The intimate 60-seat restaurant is ideal for casual dining and drinks, where plates can be shared and friends found at the bar. From aged classic cocktails to a grilled fruit sangria, as well as craft beer and a well-chosen wine list-it's a well thought out and carefully orchestrated bar.
Service was great, food was delicious. The only thing I would say is this; I found this restaurant online and thought it looked good and reasonably provers when you get there you are told that the plates are small shareables so what started as a reasonably priced meal turned out to be the most expensive dinner I’ve ever had. Don’t get me wrong - the food was great, just not the price point I expected for that type of environment
Carley is awesome. She makes the best cocktails and always has a smile for us. Food is great and menu is always changing. Love Lucy and the Wolf!
Wolf burgers were amazing. Salomon was also great as well as the shrimp tacos.
The food was amazing!! The service was great! We will be back again for sure!!
Terrific menu, happy vibe, craft drinks--wonderful Saturday night treat!
We had a really lovely time eating at Lucy & the Wolf! The host who greeted us was very kind & accommodating of our impromptu extra person. Our server, Jack, was very friendly & attentive with a great memory. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the chorizo. So many gluten free options! I can't wait to go back!
Old friends get together.
Small plates, delicious food. Great addition to the Northville area.
By far my favorite restaurant. Practically licked the plates.
Love the food, personable service and awesome craft drinks
My daughter and I love this place. The small plates are perfect because you get the chance to try multiple things in one meal without over eating. They have fantastic craft cocktails and the staff is extremely friendly. Their mini donuts are to die for!
Excellent food & service.
First visit in many months. Went early, sat at the bar. Bartender friendly and attentive, helpful with advice with the cocktail menu, makes a nice martini. Ordered salmon tartare, Thai meatballs, and tomatoes in cast iron. Salmon was smoky, flaky, and tasty, though not tartare in the usual sense. Meatballs were good but not much "Thai" flavor. Tomatoes delicious, but could have used a stronger cheese, and the egg on top was overcooked. We wanted to like the food more than we actually did. It's a fun place but the cooking needs to be polished a bit.
Last minute decision. Food and service was great as usual
Wonderful restaurant- overall, we loved it and will definitely go back. I marked them down on service because seating issues: they told us (a couple) we could not have one of the empty booths because they are reserved for groups of 4 - but on our way out we saw couples in them. Another time we went in without a reservation and they told us they couldn’t seat us (perfectly reasonable!) but we later found out there would have been room at the community table. Staff could be friendlier. OTOH, great menu, great presentation, good beer/wine, original cocktails, delicious food (although meat in steak tacos was a little tough and gristley). Also, it was quiet enough to talk! We were there early, around 5, not sure how the noise level is later when it gets crowded.
Great restaurant!
Consistently very good.
Absolute favorite! Amazing service as always, love the new menu - the new chef is killing it. Try the Salmon tartar!!!!!
Love the cozy atmosphere and the great plates for sharing!
Everything was meh. Disappointed for a rare date away from little kids.
Great experience. Our server was very attentive. Great food and atmosphere.
It was fun. Service was a little lacking with small plates, would expect a visit to the table more than every 20 minutes. Had to look for the waitress a few times. Also was disappointed with the "delivery when ready", which is fine for some things, but wasn't excited to get things all 5-10 minutes apart. Would revisit, just was super excited and didn't really live up to expectations.
Really good food options and good staff. Small plates to share. Ended up pricier than we thought based on looking at the menu online. But we'll be going back to try more
Happy hour plate portions way too small...barely enough to share for 2 people. Happy Hour wine choices way too narrow. Price value really not apparent to us. Sad to say, as we live in downtown Northville. They need to step up their game for us to return. There are many better choices in downtown Northville.
First time eating at LATW. Food was fantastic!! A must try in Northville!
The bourbon cocktails we’re delicious. Two of our food selections were excellent: the roasted broccoli and cauliflower as well as the mini doughnuts. The two protein dishes would have benefited from more expert or more careful preparation. Most of the clams in the shrimp and clams dish were gritty, and the shrimp were overcooked. The confit pork belly had not been rendered for long enough and contained large amounts of soft, loose fat. At least the service continues at a high level. Shame on the kitchen staff though.
Good food. A little pricey
Interesting tapas menu. One of our favorite ways to enjoy a new restaurant menu. Salads and meats nothing special. Salmon came out way after other dishes ( we ordered 8 items). Tomato and cheese skillet dish by far favorite of the four of us. We’ll try other restaurants in area before returning.
Delicious food, can’t say enough about it. I don’t eat meat and all 3 plates I had, goat cheese, tomatoes and patatas bravas were great. Service was awesome and noise was low even on NYE. Really nice hip atmosphere. Also drinks and bartender were superb!
Always great food & great service at Lucy & the Wolf!
Shareables are perfect to try different things. Food was delicious and the service was great. The drinks are unique!
Have been to Lucy and the Wolf twice before and both experiences were amazing. We told all our friends about it. We were disappointed this time. The food was just okay, not fabulous like before and more expensive than we remembered.
Great service by Carley and amazing menu. Love the atmosphere and food.
Everything was perfect
We were able to get a reservation same day (even on a Saturday!) for a last minute date night. The food was delicious. Our waitress was great about spacing out the dishes so we were able to enjoy each one. I hope to return again soon and see what other delicious things we can discover.
We arrived right when the restaurant opened and it was empty. The hostess sat us in the back (even though we made a reservation and requested a cozy booth). She was not friendly or welcoming. We sat in a dark corner by the bathrooms which added to the uncomfortable experience.
I explained that it was our first time at the restaurant and we were excited to try L&TW but she still gave us the worst the table.
The charcuterie board was very underwhelming (beer cheese, bread sticks) and the meats were not appetizing. Would not order again. The rest of the meal was just ok—nothing really jumped out.
Overall, it’s a cute spot and has so much potential! I suggest switching up the menu and making sure to take care of first time guests.
The current menu is not amazing. I hope it improves.
We love sitting at the bar and chatting with Carly!
Brilliant as usual.
2nd time here .
1st time was great no complaints .
This time service was bad .
Observed man in the kitchen area scratching beard and clearly cooking .very unsanitary. Another cook eating something. Over the time period we were there and preparing food .very bad experience
