been many times, and always loved it. opted for the special on friday which was swordfish. it was disgusting. sorry.
Delicious food, lovely sitting area by fire for cocktails
Very, very nice. A little pricy but knew that going in
Amazing as usual. I had a cauliflower soup that was delicious, an amazing scallops and then a HALIBUT perfectly COOKED. Service was just perfect and the wine selection is great we had a bottle of Barolo
Excellent dinner. Fine food and cocktails. Great place for dates.
Great staff. Great food and Great wine cellar ! Great ambience
The food at best was...decent. The atmosphere was a total snoozefest. And food too overpriced for what we got- we didn't see the value in it. Waitress and service was great. Regardless- last time at this joint.
Wonderful meal! Timeless decor and lovely vibe. The service was consistent and friendly. The food was all delicious and perfectly cooked. I had the duck breast and my party had the halibut, steak and the ragu. Will definitely be back again.
The wait staff was personable, patient, knowledgeable and efficient. The food was creatively prepared and delicious.
My fav place.
The food was nicely prepared and presented. I wish there had been more choice in the dishes provided. We were there for a weekday lunch and there were only about 4 or 5 choices. I have always like the food at Lucques, so it was a bit disappointing that there weren't more dishes to select from.
The Sunday suppers at Lucques are a longstanding tradition, and feature a prix fixe menu that naturally limits one’s choices, but is a great value. They offer a terrific wine pairing service as well.
Lovely service was the best part
Impeccable steak and fried oysters
Dessert was lovely
A lovely space and nice staff.
Vastly overrated and overpriced. Appetizers were non-descript (scallop dish was all potatoes and too oily, salad was meager). Entrees were not good (my wife had the short rib, which was mostly fat and gristle (too fatty even for short rib). I had the fish, overcooked and nothing special. Also, the 3.5% charge for employee health care is just plain tacky, especially given the price of the meal, and the reasons posted on their website (we can't make money otherwise) are unpersuasive. 99% of the restaurants in LA can make a profit without charging their customers for health care. If Lucques can't do the same, they should not be in business.
I Love this place. It's one of my "sure thing" restaurants
So awesome! The service was great. Drinks were boozy and delicious. The food was amazing. One of the owners was there and came over to check on us. Just a great time.
Phenomenal! In every way
Sat at the bar! It was my second time to visit. I had been there 6 months ago. Mark the bartender remember me and what I had to drink. Excellent service and the food is outstanding! I will be back again when I visit the area in 6 months!!
Special birthday dinner. Delicious food and really nice ambience...also great service.
All in all, very successful evening!
60th birthday celebration!
Everything was fantastic! Best swordfish I have ever had. Fabulous wine pairings. The only little issue for me was the lightning made reading the menu difficult. Will return and have made many recommendations.
We had a delicious meal and enjoyed every bite. It was our first time at the restaurant and we look forward to returning.
Excellent food!!! Wine is on the expensive side. Our waitperson Sarah was awesome!!!
This place is never less than wonderful. Great food, comfortable but very nice ambience, personable, caring service.
As always, fabulous experience as beautiful as my girlfriend, very romantic.
Service is outstanding, as great as the meal.
Prices are ridiculously inexpensive for the value.
We went for Dine LA. An absolutely wonderful menu
I had the steak tartar that was beyond flavorful. The Lamb neckbones, rarely seen on a menu were a standout. All finished with a tarte tatin. I highly recommend this restaurant during and after Dine L A
We went for our anniversary and they took such good care of us! From a welcome glass of champagne to nice conversations with the manager, and ending with a sweet wish of “Happy Anniversary” written in icing on our dessert plate, our visit was a delight from start to finish. The food was superb, complex flavors in bold combinations - for example the steak tartare was served on a tiny slice of potato. Just imaginative and divine. We’ll be back.
Everything was lovely.
My one negative comment is if you have a 6 PM reservation, & you arrive a little early they keep you waiting outside even if it’s cold and the maître d’ is a little rude. Also the windows are black so it almost appears as though the restaurant is closed. My husband thought it was closed.
Rather than seating us, the maître d’ herded us towards the waiting area or the bar, even when I said I preferred to be seated. (Our friends had not yet arrived.) He explained incongruously that our table would be needed at 8:15.
It was an unpleasant start to a very pleasant evening.
