   We were excited to try the new Summer Menu at Lucky 32. They didn't disappoint. The veggies were very good. One order of the Jambalaya could feed a family of four. Our server, Daleen, was most welcoming. We look forward to returning to try more summer specials.

   An interesting feature of the menu for a restaurant of this caliber is a side order option with almost all main dishes. However the side of green beens I had was blah. Just sautéed with no special seasoning. The Jumbalaya I ordered was equally bland — probably the most uninspired one I’ve ever had. My wife’s crab cakes were fine, but again, not the best we’ve ordered. They do have a nice outdoor seating area shrouded by mature plants, which hide the area surrounding the restaurant and only occasionally intruded when a motorcycle went by. Waitress punctuated the evening by sort of tossing the check on the table — it wasn’t like we were unpleasant to her at all (?). Overall, probably would look for an alternative, place to dine next time.

   Food: Those deviled eggs were all wrong. We both tried one and sent the remaining 7 or 8 halves back. The yolk filling was dry and chalky as opposed to being creamy and rich. The Mac and cheese was extremely dry, as was the “creamy grits”. The pork chop was ok. Service: The waiter was really nice. He was just young so he didn’t have command of everything. When I asked for a porter, he came back and said they didn’t have it. He brought a list of port wines instead. Yeah. Honest mistake I’m sure… I went ahead and asked for a brown ale. Ambiance: nice inside. A chill mode. Everyone seemed nice.

    We have always enjoyed Lucky 32 (& all Quaintance restaurants here in Greensboro). However, yesterday was the first time in nearly 2 years since we had eaten there due to the restaurant closing a lot during Covid. While our service was excellent (along with our greeter), the food wasn’t up to their usual excellence. For starters, our coffee was on the lukewarm side, and my chicken dish was not served hot (again lukewarm) and the biscuit and gravy served with it were overly salty which ruined it for me. The potatoes with my boyfriend’s brunch was certainly not as described. So I think we will stick with GV Grill and Printworks Bistro!

    The restaurant was fantastic as usual, I brought a new to the US co-worker ( Brazilian guy who lives in France ) and he was highly impressed! He commented several times on the impressive service from Collin, our waiter, as well as the quality of the food! We had brunch, Lucas had chicken & biscuit and loved it, I had the short rib special, short rib meat was fantastic the sweet potato biscuit was just a bit dry and “stiff”. The goat cheese app with nuts and strawberries with buttered toast was perfect starter! Thanks again Lucky 32 for another fantastic experience!

    The Short Rib Hash was potatoes, gravy, dried out meat and a sunny side up egg. The portion was big, but it was a boring dish and I got tired of it a quarter of the way through.

    Lucky 32 has lost its overall quality of food and selection of menu items. I remember when this place was the best place in town to eat. They strived on providing you with fresh quality farm grown ingredients. Now they are using cheap ingredients and cutting back on quality and portions.

    My husband and I lived here from 2018 to 2021 and ate here often. We came back to visit friends and knew we had to eat dinner at L32 before we left. It is still as great as we remember. I had the fried green tomatoes and black bean cakes. Usually, I’m not a fan of black bean cakes because they can be too mushy, however, that is not the case with the ones at L32. They have a crisp outside and a deciduous corn and sour cream slaw on top. Beyond the food, the restaurant itself is beautiful. If it’s a nice day I would highly recommend sitting outside. You feel like you are sitting in a French garden.

    Customer service has really fallen off at this once booming restaurant. A lot of standing around at the hostess stand, not as friendly as it once was. Food is still good, just need better staff up front.

    Even though we arrived 30 minutes prior to our reservation, we were seated promptly. Our food was delicious, especially the She Crab soup and my Skillet Fried Chicken. Our service was friendly and efficient.

    The new renovations have removed all the charm of this once enjoyable restaurant. How do you not have not one piece of art or photography on the walls??? The service we received was deplorable and the food was sub par. I literally ordered the same entree (Shrimp and Grits) as my wife yet her's was swimming in brown gravy and mine had minimal gravy. Visually it looked like she ordered a soup. In reality the dish does not need any brown gravy. What the dish does need is a Andouille sausage and not that kilbasa non-sense which completely diminishes the entire entree. The short rib toast is a nice idea but executed terribly. The bread is too thick. It should be plated on a flat bread and with half the amount of pickled onions. And why you have.l both provolone and Goat cheese on one dishe is beyond me. A goat cheese short rib flatbread us what you should be offering. The Artichoke dip was delicious but the size was questionable.

    the green beans: Too generous in placing. Could chew but digest. impossible to eat. Catfish delicious. Grits Blah - didn't eat. Left keys on table, was called and staff very helpful in my securing them. Found a dime in the parking lot!

    Such a disappointment. Took my wife here for Mother’s Day a total waste of money. From beginning to end. The first waitress was short with us and barely came to check on us. My wife didn’t like her drink and asked for a different one and the waitress disappeared. Finally a male server came just to basically give us a box and the check. The food was bland and we didn’t get any salt or pepper or condiments because our waitress went MIA. We frequent Ruth Chris the one time I decide to try something different for a special occasion this happens. Would not recommend.

    For a 1st time visit in several years, the service was outstanding considering it was a full house. I love the food, just enough to satisfy your appetite for the evening. Although I wish there were more vegetarian and dairy free options as I had to be very careful with ordering both appetizers and entrees. But overall experience for Mother's Day was pleasurable and enjoyable.
