Lucky 32 Southern Kitchen - Greensboro
It is just as good as usual. My family loves coming here for a special occasion. I highly recommend their Herb Grilled Chicken and anything with their Voodoo Sauce.
I don't usually do restaurant reviews. Too subjective. However, we had a party of 5 for Sunday brunch. Everyone enjoyed the food. In making this reservation I first looked at the menus at Green Vally Grill and Printworks Bistro. Lucky 32 is the third eatery owned by the same people. GVG and PWB had nearly identical menus. Lucky 32 was different and to my thinking superior. All three are great restaurants, but Lucky 32 has the best brunch menu at the moment.
This was the first time visiting Lucky 32 Southern Kitchen with a friend and it was a lovely time. The restaurant was cute and the food was delicious. It was a great little brunch spot and I'll definitely be visiting again.
Always outstanding! Great food and service. Loved the fried green tomato Benedict!
Had a great experience. I got the ribeye steak which was excellent and my wife got the black bean patties which were great as well. The service was great and even though we got there 30 minutes before our reservation, they sat us right down.
Our server was very inhospitable. I had to be “talked down” multiple times from just walking out altogether. The food and every person except our particular server were great.
Great night with friends
Music to loud couldn’t have a conversation with our guests.
Delicious food and great service!
Food was excellent. I don't know if the server had too many tables to cover, but was slow in checking on us throughout our time spent in the restaurant.
Overall was very good. Just think the serving size was very small.
We had a lovely birthday dinner! Definitely would return.
Date night heaven
Great lunch spot. Never a disappointment in the food or the welcome.
However, the mashed potatoes and sweet potatoes were awful! The collards were tough and lukewarm.
The Sunday mimosas are great but the roasted chicken salad is my favorite. We always enjoy the food and will return.
We are thrilled you enjoy the mimosas! The fresh squeezed orange juice really makes them something special. We will see you again soon.
Excellent brunch menu, great for everyday dining or special celebrations. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding!
Shea is a great waitress. Sweet potato hash was a mistake. Audio is always too loud.
Enjoyed dinner with the family this evening. My sister and I had the salmon, my husband had the Delta pasta and our son had the Kentucky ribeye. Everything was done perfectly. Our server Patrick was terrific! Great evening out! Thank you!
We are overjoyed you had such a great time! I will pass this along to Patrick as well!
Lucky 32 has been a favorite for many many years. I hope it was just a rough night not an overall down turn. Our mahi was undercooked and cold on the inside. I asked them to cook it longer and they brought a new piece out that was well cooked. I had the lunch ribeye which was very thin and not so great. I doubt I’ll be back soon there are so many options nearby. Is this the case of all good things come to an end or just a bad night. I will read other reviews and decide later if to return again. If this is a down turn I will not return.
We had the best experience here. We decided on this restaurant because we wanted something in the middle for my son to drive from Raleigh and ourselves from Charlotte. I looked at reviews online and it looked good.
The place exceeded our expectations. My reservation was made online and my table was available upon arrival. Service was great, the food was excellent and I even had gotten a brownie and Ice cream treat brought over for my birthday. The prices were reasonable as well.
Just a great lunch for my birthday. I will be back next time we are in Greensboro.
We are thrilled that you had such a great experience! We also have a location in Cary as well; just in case you want to stop by a Lucky's that is a little bit closer to you. We are happy to be a great meet up stop for you and your son. Cheers, Rose
Boisterous atmosphere, good for large groups, not so much for smaller intimate dining
Flash fried oysters were the best I’ve had in a long time. The voodoo sauce is a nice change from the usual horseradish sauce. I could eat the winter salad with every meal, perfectly balanced.
The oysters are definitely a guest and staff favorite! We are thrilled you enjoyed them!
Awesome food! The shrimp and grits and pork shank were amazing!
Great food choice for both of us and service was very good. Noise-level was just a bit louder than we had expected but is about the same as other restaurants in Greensboro. This is one area that we find needs attention by all the restaurants in the city, especially when alcohol is flowing and children are present.
Margaritas still on point. And the peanut butter pie is fantastic. The other entrees needed a bit more seasoning imo. Our waiter was polite but in need of additional training.
Have seen your restaurant for years. I only regret I have never stopped in until Saturday night. Food was excellent and there was a wonderful ambiance. Thank you for helping us celebrate a birthday with a great meal that I’m sure will not be the last we have here.
I had a waiter who was a short white guy with reddish colored hair. He was a great waiter and provided some of the best customer service I've had in a while. There's no need to make a reservation here on Saturdays it wasn't packed at all when I came in for brunch. The food is about a 3.4/5 I was disappointed in the homefries. I should have had them fried longer or chosen another side.
Very quiet and the waiter was very attentive
Very nice experience and the food was wonderful
Always good food and excellent service. Atmosphere is warm and friendly. Menu selection has something for everyone
Accommodated our noisy crew including three kids (6,5, and 1) beautifully on a busy Friday night. Great service and drinks!
We had a reservation on New Years Day and was seated promptly not knowing we were supposed to have received special menu for this nite we ordered from menu. My wife was looking for something special on this night , on our exit we ask an employee on the way out, she stated she was real sorry about not receiving the New Years Day menu but why didnt the waiter know this , we gave a 10.00 tip but was thinking this waiter was super nice but was green on the job as this is not what we have been accustomed to from this restaurant
Not the best place for a special occasion. The food was bland.. and the surprise birthday cake was so small.. it was funny they brought four spoons.
The waiter was nice though and took the soups off our bill since it was band and arrived the same time as our meal.
We made a reservation and our table was in the worst location near the back door.
The food was very good, however the grease needed to be drained a lot more from my pulled pork on New Year’s Day before being served. Totally ruined the cornbread underneath and later my stomach!! Service was great and the white BBQ sauce is to die for.
good reliable fare in a relaxed atmosphere. will return
I was not pleased with my meal which was the New Years Day Pork Tenderloin. My sweet potatoes were barely warm. The black eyed peas were still hardened and the collard green leaves were whole (huge actually). The table beside us complained about both needing more seasoning. Almost seemed as if large amounts of this meal had been prepared (it took less than 10 mins for our food to arrive) for the day but flavor was very lacking.
The experience was great. Food was solid and was not overpriced. The server we had was very knowledgeable. Would definitely visit again.
I love the food, service and ambiance!!! Lucky 32 is a fabulous restaurant!!! Never a bad experience, food is always amazing and just a very relaxing, enjoyable meal. LOVE ❤️
Overcooked steak twice in a row. Not great. Service was ok.
I loved the food and the atmosphere was amazing but the service could have been better. Our waiter was not very inviting and we felt rushed.
