Lucky 32 Southern Kitchen - Greensboro
A terrific dinner in all respects...black bean cakes were GREAT, salmon was cooked to perfection and piping hot, side veggies were delicious, and our server was very attentive, helpful and friendly. We'll definitely return to try other items on the seasonal menu (if I can resist getting the bean cakes again!). Oh, and the chocolate chess pie was outstanding!
Excellent brunch with a lot of options, nice to have the reservations as generally there is no wait! Outside eating area is beautiful!
The food is not what it used to be.
Service and atmosphere were excellent. It was super clean and the decor was lovely. However, the food, in particular the flash fried oyster salad was bland. A huge plate of spinach with red onions and goat cheese in a dressing with no flavor, topped by seven fried oysters. Once the oysters were gone, I could not eat the rest. Had to stop afterwards to get a snack.
Food and service was excellent! Highly recommend
Always enjoyable. Staff was excellent and the food was delicious.
Overall, we were disappointed. This is the second time we tried this restaurant while in Greensboro. The food is subpar at best. I ordered a shrimp and chicken pasta and the shrimp was very fishy in taste and overcooked. My husbands swordfish was overcooked and over sauced. We could not eat the fried corn bread appetizer. The outside was over cooked and the inside was raw. We had tried this restaurant again, thinking maybe the first time was a fluke. We will not be back.
Lucky 32 is a great place to go for a quiet birthday dinner. We thoroughly enjoyed it.
Food was really good and service was great as well.
Based on Tuesday evening,I would not recommend Lucky 32, however, since I've been going there since they opened, circa 1991, I will go back and I will continue to eat there unless it doesn't improve over this last visit.
Lucky 32’s has a wonderful ambiance with polite and helpful staff. Food was brought promptly and beverages were never allowed to run out at our table. Food tasted good, I wasn’t blown away by anything; however I definitely don’t feel as if it wasn’t worth the price. It was nice and hearty and I had enough of a meal for supper and lunch the next day.
This is our go to restaurant. Usually able to comfortably talk to each other however there was a birthday party of 8 at the table behind us and a group of at least 8 came in after they left that was louder than the first group. I was disappointed that I couldn’t have a peaceful meal with my bride on Sunday after Valentines Day. This was the first time that has happened and I’ll ask for seating not in the middle of the floor next time. Our waitress was spot on with everything even though it seemed busy. Food as usual was perfect.
After an excellent symphony performance in Winston-Salem, my wife and I stopped here for a nice meal to complete the weekend. The food was superb, the waiter provided honest feedback about a potential side item pairing and then provided a recommendation, and the atmosphere went from good to great after the sun had set and the unique lighting in the main dining area became vibrant. I would recommend giving it a try.
Very nice service and brunch/breakfast items on menu are varied and offer a great selection. Omelets are fantastic as well as crusted goat cheese and their soups. Have dined there before and will continue to do so. Great menu and great food.
Food was excellent I had the 14 ounce ribeye medium well an my GF enjoyed the delta pasta which was great! Service was great! Atmosphere with music made it even better!! Waitress even took pictures for us after the meal I would definitely recommend an we’ll definitely be booking again
Awesome setting for a great meal with the one you love.
Service was amazing but the food was mediocre. Had drinks at the bar before being seated, bartender was very friendly. Sat at the table server was top notch. But when the food came out I just wasn’t impressed.
The restaurant was overwhelmed and our server didn’t want to be there. We got what we wanted but never smiled and was very business like. No rapport. No connection.
Truly a let down. Have never been to this place. My chicken was dry, all 10 red beans were over cooked (I guess I got last spoon). My wife’s food was very salty. Best part was the alcoholic beverages and her grits.
Had a wonderful meal and enjoyed trying some new things!
Outstanding describes this restaurant! Staff, food and service was top notch! Strongly recommended!!
As always, the food was very tasty! The service was great and eating there is a great value!
I love the fact that everything is locally sourced! Ambiance is nice, tables should have had a tablecloth. Service was great, food was delish.
Lucky 32 does it again! Always top notch service & great food. I am never disappointed with Lucky 32!
Great place for the wife and I and order waitress was everything we could ask for
•steak was overcooked than what was asked and was mainly fat
•pasta was dry
•no point of book a reservation for a specific time if we’re going to be seated 30 mins after set time
Recommend to a friend ? Not likely. Made a 8:30 reservation in January for Valentines dinner, had to wait over 30 minutes past to be seated. Reconfirmed reservation on line that morning. Unacceptable. What's the point of making a reservation ?
Waited over 30 minutes after ordering for food. Ordered jambalaya, bland. No spices, can cook better myself. Do not no if we will be back.
The restaurant was nice. The atmosphere and mood was exceptional. However, the food was not great. It lacked seasoning and flavor.
Good food. Great company. But very loud so hard to have a conversation.
The fillet was just average cut of meat. Fat in the fillet
The atmosphere was great. The food was excellent and fair priced. The service was top notch. It was a great experience def will be back again sooner than later.
My wife and I choose Lucky 32 to celebrate this year’s Valentine’s Day and it was superb. The online reservation process through OpenTable was seamless. We were treated with the outmost respect and the food was excellent as always.
Valentines Day Dinner
Service was great. It's a Southern Kitchen but it's not southern cooking the food was very Bland no seasoning.
Outstanding experience with great food and service. Music and ambiance was wonderful!
Great place to gather and eat! No complaints just a little more attention to finite details in the kitchen would have made it 5*
Great ambience; very good food; excellent service
Had most awesome time this Sunday at brunch! good food, great service and that leads to awesome dining experience! everything we had was delicious from fried green tomatoes to goat cheese appetizer to black bean cakes, all these things were super delicious paired with mimosas! Needless to say I am hooked. Also our server was wonderful and it added to the overall positive experience!!
Super yummy southern food! You want to try it ALL🥰
