We love Lucky 32 because of the great menu which changes with the season. My husband had the pork shank, which he thought was excellent. I ordered salmon and my entree was excellent also. The only disappointment was the dessert, chocolate chess pie. The filling of pie was okay; however, the pastry crust was not even edible. We had an attentive server that did a great job. We will certainly go back but will probably stick with desserts we’ve had before such as the peanut butter pie!

We are not from Cary, but look forward to eating at Lucky 32 anytime we are in town. Several family members are vegetarians and they always have something delicious for every member of our party. We also enjoy the various craft beer choices. We are usually too full for dessert, but the dessert menu is amazing.

One of our favorite restaurants but the last few visits have left us not wanting to go back. While the food is consistent the service has been really horrible. Forgetting to bring entire courses and not even realizing it and then management thinking it makes up for bad service by giving you free dessert and they forgot to bring that also. Just feel like they are having some issues.

The food was good , southern cooking. My husband really enjoyed his shrimp & grits. I had the fried chicken. It was good, the meat was moist, but it wasn’t as crispy as I expected it to be.

I didn’t understand why a nicer place like this had 2 huge TVs. It didn’t look or seem like a sports bar, but they had the same football game on 2 screens.

The service was friendly and attentive.

Fantastic!!! The food and service was great. A little on the pricy side but well worth it. And the desert was great. Would recommend it to anyone.

We used to love Lucky 32 but the past two or three times we’ve gone, we have been disappointed. I’m not sure if the chef had changed or there is just a lack of care but it’s certainly changed and not for the better.
While the portions are good, the sides have become flavorless and lazy. Furthermore, the seasonal menus have become uninteresting and repetitive.
My husband ordered the chicken tortilla soup and it had pieces of beef in it and was more of a stew. My brussel sprouts were boiled (gross) with fatback and my cauliflower (that was SUPPOSED to be made with garlic and a balsamic reduction) was absolutely disgusting! There was NO garlic or balsamic used - it was bland and tasted more like dirt than anything else.

We miss the old Lucky 32 that used to have exciting and amazingly flavorful dishes! Please bring it back!!

There were 5 of us and All of our meals were terrific. Fresh, Tasty, Exactly as described. The deviled eggs are awesome, potpie excellent, salt n pepper ribeye so tasty and tender. . .. and the sides were great. the service was on point. We were in the back room and the ambiance was great. the main dining area is very loud and noisy - so ask for the back room.

Went to Lucky 32 on new years day for dinner. My wife had the black bean cakes with sauteed greens and I had the Chicken Pot pie. There were so many problems with this meal...

- Our server checked on us occasionally, but far less frequently than she should have. Once she walked away while we were still talking to her.
- The pot pie filling was overly salty, and instead of a "puff pastry crust" it came with a crust that seemed like bisquick mixed with milk and baked. It was doughy, and not flaky at all. When I complained that mine was burnt - and not puff pastry, they brought me a new crust, and asked me to put my old one on a plate for them to take away. I would have expected at least an explanation as to the reason for subsitution, but I got the impression that neither the manager (who brought the replacement crust) or the server really cared.
- The pot pie came with honey roasted beets on the side. They looked brown and like they had been sitting in a warming pan for hours. They were lukewarm, and not good at all.
- My wife's dish came with sauteed greens, which also were virtually brown, and looked as if they had spent much too long in a warmer.

I'd avoid this place - the food isn't very good, the service isn't good, and during our meal the Air Conditioning seemed to come on - blowing cold air at us. I guess that went with the chill of the service and staff...

We have been going to Lucky 32 since we moved here in 2012. We have never had a bad experience. The food has always been fantastic. The waitstaff is particularly attentive. The background music is perfect. We eat here about six times per year. If we lived closer, I am sure we would be more frequent customers. The beer, wine, and cocktail options work well for us. Recently we tried one of their new desserts, which we did not like. (All of their regular desserts are quite good.) We were not charged for that dessert. We did not tell our waitress about our disappointment to receive a free dessert. Indeed, we ate only a few bites. But we ordered it because it sounded like something we would enjoy. We would not have objected to paying for something we did not like since, in our opinion, taste can be capricious. The dessert simply was not to our liking. Most people might have enjoyed it. Still, we did not have to pay for the dessert, which indicates to us Lucky 32's desire for customer satisfaction. In over thirty visits to Lucky 32, this was our first experience with an item that we did not like. I give Lucky 32 an A+ for food, service, and ambiance.
