Waitress was initially rude to my date . Condescending when he asked if there were any other shrimp meals besides shrimp and grits. When he asked about side orders she stated, “Here they are”,pointing to the menu and then stated, “I can’t remeber all of them”. We almost left at that point but I really wanted to try the shrimp and grits. As the night went on, we realized that she was “flirting” with him. Real brazen and disrespectful to me I must add. We laughed at her as her attempt was minuscule .
If there was a coin of 1/2 of a penny that’s what she would have gotten as a tip.
The shrimp and grits were amazing!

We've eaten at Lucky 32 several times a year for 10 years. The service is consistently good, with friendly, helpful and well trained servers. The food is creative Southern US.

On this occasion we just needed a quick lunch and decided to go to Lucky 32 instead of anywhere like Panera or a bar. The seasonal and local brunch menus left us spoilt for choice. We had chili from the seasonal menu and Locavore special (NC sausages, poached eggs, grits, and biscuits) from the regular menu. Both were excellent. The biscuits were the best I've had.

When we got the bill, we found we'd spent hardly more than if we'd gone to the 'less expensive' chains. All in all, great food for a very reasonable price.

The dinner was a celebration of an actress friend of ours who won a role in a local theater production. They love authentic cuisine wherever their acting gigs take them. They left wanting to return to Lucky 32 the next time they come back through Cary.

I took a client to the restaurant and it was the first time she had dined there. She was very impressed with the restaurant, meals and service. We each ordered chicken pot pie which was delicious. It was served piping hot and tasted home made. We split a desert which was an ensemble of three offerings which was also very good. Our server, Graham, was attentive and efficient.

Food was great. Very healthy options. Service was great. It was busy for lunch. We were seated immediately. I was able to have a conversation without noticing how busy it was. Definitely would recommend.

Overall a great meal, one of my favorite places. But I am pretty upset about the Maccaroni being removed from the menu. I think the sides overall need some re-vamping.

Lucky 32 remains a very good choice for dinner. The menu is complete and the selection is varied which is very good. The service was quite good but I have had better service there before. The bread is very good but we got some small pieces and only two pads of butter which were not enough. I will repeat it's that good.

There were seven of us and we requested to be in the bar area in order to watch a football game. The service was good and the food terrific. I would come back here next time I'm in the area. Fun cocktails and good local beer.

Everything for the evening meal was spot on: table location, service, food and drinks. There were 12 designers & engineers at the table for a celebration of teamwork. Great time at a great place! Thanks L32!

My server was great with his description of the menu. The grits and mash potatoes were luk warm, sort of on the cooler side. I was not that impressed with the flavoring. Maybe its because I use to eat at the one on Spring Forest faithfully. Maybe because it was brunch. I will try it again.

We love Lucky 32. The food is awesome and there are healthy options. We did notice that some entrees that used to come with three sides now only come with two. A little disappointed. But overall it is a great restaurant. Highly recommended.

We have been going to Lucky 32 for at least the past 12 years as well as the restaurant that was there prior to Lucky 32. We have always been pleased with the food as well as the service staff. Case in point was on our last visit, one of the meals (fish special) was not cooked properly. As soon as the staff were informed they moved quickly to correct the matter to our complete satisfaction. I would not hesitate to return to the restaurant again. The menu options are updated as each new yearly season occurs and they always have ample local products used in their meal options.

Dined with out of town guests and the creative menu options always impress. They didn't have the craft beer selection one person ordered due to some "distribution issues" but our server made another comparable recommendation. The black-eye peas in the kale side dish could have cooked a little more but overall a great evening.

Bass was not cooked all the way through, which looked scary but actually tasted good. Boiled peanut succotash was a nice surprise. Skip the pulled pork with Voodoo sauce. It's mostly bread. Waiter forgot several things (sauce on the side, drink order, refill water glass...). Good breadbasket, 2 kinds of bread both good.

Went for a birthday as I'd heard great things about this place. Ordered the shrimp and grits and was very disappointed. Taste was not what I was expecting and I've had way better at other restaurants. For a southern place, had higher expectations for a southern dish.

What a miserable experience. It was my husband’s birthday so we planned a nice family dinner. We made reservations and they seated us on time but it went down hill from there. We started with one waitress who took our drink order. About ten minutes later a different waitress showed up to take our dinner order, brought my kids drinks and that’s it. We weren’t ready - my husband was given a lunch menu and not dinner so he took a few extra minutes once we figured it out. We put in an order for an appetizer while we continued to read the menu. Waitress came back to take our order, still no beer. About 10 minutes later she finally brings us bread but no silverware. We ask for the beer and she says, “oh, I forgot!” I order a drink at this point as well. She runs away before we can ask for silverware. When we get drinks we ask for silverware and again here, “Oh, I forgot”. Finally get adult drinks and a little bit later our dinners. We ask about the appetizer we ordered and we hear, “oh, I forgot to put it in, Sorry”. Dinner was eh, nothing special. My husband had a steak, I had pork, my daughter had herbed chicken and my son a chicken sandwich. He said the fries were good. I was never asked if I wanted a second drink. We were never asked how our dinners were. I had to ask the waitress to refill my water. Had to ask her to bring my son a second lemonade and my husband ordered a second beer. No second beer ever showed up. You guessed it - “oh, I forgot. Sorry” We asked for the check at this point. We paid the check but on my way out I requested to talk to a manager. I explained how we planned a special birthday dinner out and it was a disaster. They did offer to give us a gift card but I declined. I won’t be going back. There are too many other places to eat and the service was horrible and the food just okay.

This was our first experience at Lucky 32. What a pleasant surprise. The food was healthy and creative. The choice of side dishes was very good. The food was served hot. The only issue was the salads came and were followed directly by the entrees. Timing was off.

Absolutely loved the Suffolk Chicken! Ordered with a side of collards. Different from any collards I have ever had - but a refreshing deviation from the norm. That fried grits cake with the gravy and chicken - wow!
Get the fried green tomatoes too!

My one disappointment about this placeis that we have never been here before!

Sunday brunch : all locally sourced and fresh. Unreal grits- light, fluffy, cheesy. Amazing local sausage. Biscuits made perfectly with homemade strawberry jam. Fresh cornbread.

Peanut butter pie ... Take it to go home if you don't have room!

As if that wasn't enough, service was fantastic. Our server Brian was fantastic. Friendly, helpful, but didn't hover.

Well done! We will be back!

Love the ambiance the food was not up to par especially considering the price. The "ribeye" steak was a tough cut. Definitely not prime or choice. Something farther down the grading scale. Red fish was over cooked and the seasoning on everything was bland. I hate this because I love this type restaurant. I think people just accept poor cooking. Please fix this so I can come back to a good meal.

Celebrated my friend's birthday at Lucky 32. Once again they did not disappoint. They were able to modify vodoo bread on a Johnny cake as a reduced gluten option and everything was delicious. They even served a gluten free brownie sundae for her birthday.
