Great service and yummy food! We love Lucky 32!
Enjoyed the ambiance, the service was great, interesting menu, good food at reasonable price and fun
As always, Lucky 32 never disappoints. Never been there that the food was not exceptional and service really good. It's a great place for any occasion or just simply because.
My husband and I went here for our date night and enjoyed a wonderful meal. We do not eat dairy, legumes, sugar or any grains, and they were happy to accommodate our every need. The food was very good and the service was outstanding. We will be back!
Fantastic service. Ray was professional, timely and fjn
The food and service was excellent! Shrimp & grits👍
We enjoyed this restaurant so much. Our waiter was really good as was the food! When we are in the area again we plan to eat at this restaurant again!
Food was delicious, but I miss the meatloaf wrapped in bacon! It needs to be on the menu all year.
Lucky 32 is a wonderful restaurant. I have been many times and food has been superb. But this time a few things were the usual Lucky 32 standard. I informed them that both ladies in our party of 4, were celebrating a birthday and they did not do a single gesture for them. I was not looking for free dessert just a song and something sweet. Which I would have gladly paid for. The bill was already several hundreds of dollars so we weren't skimping. Other did get a song and dessert just not us. The second thing the food all around was on par except for my wife's brisket. It was basically dried out rump roast. No flavor, fat, or juices. Very dry and bland. Still, love this restaurant and will be back. Hopefully, they just had an off night. Keep the standard high yall.
We visited RTP area staying in Cary and the recommendation to try Lucky came up from more than one person and they wern't wrong! Our server was on point - had great reccos and walked us through the seasonal menu and features that she liked. She was great at asking about if I liked my greens spicy or not, and figured out that she would put a side of spicy vinegar on the plate. What a great suggestion, not that the greens needed any help, but a shot of the spicy vinegar did the trick.
All of our dishes came as ordered and the shrimp and grits was a standout in the group. Try to save room for dessert since there are seasonal suggestions in addition to their standards.
We love Lucky 32 Kitchen! We dined there last weekend for the third time, and it was another great dining experience.
We were celebrating my wife’s birthday and decided to go somewhere we knew. We were seated in a booth near the back of the restaurant.
Our server Christin was very nice. We started with the voodoo pig bread, a must if you dine here. I also ordered the Carolina finest as a cocktail. The cocktail was a little sweet for my taste.
For our main course we had the ribeye, and the pan seared trout. We had the hand cut fries, fried grit cake, collard greens and a green salad as our sides.
Everything we ordered was very good, and very flavorful. My wife was served a complimentary birthday brownie with ice cream, which we shared for desert.
We had another great all around dining experience at Lucky 32. It has become one of our favorite places to dine in Cary.
We eat here every couple months and food is always great. They accommodated our large family group (had reservations) just fine. The only thing different from previous visits was that our main server--a young man--was not real attentive (i.e. slow or no refills) and also had the personality of a celery stalk. Nice kid but very mopey. We still took care of him--everyone has a bad day.
We were in town visiting and read that this was a great place for southern food. The decor in the main dining too was pleasant and lively however,we sat in a smaller room which felt out of the way. The service was very attentive and friendly and the menu seemed to offer traditional southern fare. Unfortunately none of the four entrees delivered to the table were disappointing and lacking in taste. Sorry but I have had better southern food in New York.
Birthday lunch! Perfect place to celebrate. Everyone enjoyed it!
Delicious food as usual. Service was not quit as good as in the past. It took a long time for the bread and we were about to leave when they remembered to "birthday brownie."
Really good food, prepared very well. Service was outstanding. Our server was just terrific. Very helpful. I had the herb grilled chicken with collards and sweet potatoes. Very, very good. My lunch partner had the peanut butter pie for desert, and I had a bite. AWESOME!!
The excellent food was served at a perfect pace with attention to detail. Erica made a birthday celebration extra special. Small things like superb housemade salad dressing and bread made the evening perfect. This will be our go-to place next occasion.
This is our go to place for get togethers - love the variety on the menu and the cocktails are yummy too! Great atmosphere.
I am such a big fan of Lucky 32. Each time I go to this restaurant it is always so consistently. The wait staff was phenomenal. I really had a wonderful time
The salmon was really good. The jambalaya was bland.
The BBQ was delicious. I have never had a bad meal here. And we make reservations so we don't have to wait. Highly recommend.
This was our first visit. We liked the atmosphere, the service was good, lot's of selections on the menu. We will be back to try another selection. Our food was good however we think there are better choices for us on the menu.
Everyone had something different and each said there meal was delicious .
Overall amazing experience, the hostess is my only complaint. Sat us at the wrong table then another made us feel it was our fault, very unprofessional.
The trout was delicious! Tasted my friend’s ribeye; and another friend’s burger. All very good! Generous portions. Not sure why they serve almost-frozen butter with the bread. Unspreadable! Went on a Wednesday night, around 7pm. Service was slower than I liked. However, I will definitely dine here again.
I am new to the Raleigh/Cary area and Lucky 32 was a great find. Food and service were excellent. Great southern cuisine. I enjoyed the trout special with fried grit cakes and collard greens.
We eat at Lucky 32 frequently and most of the time everything is good, on this occasion the garnishes with our meal were both ice cold, and by the time we got hot ones, we were done with our protein. The server was mid - fair boxed some of our food but not all of it. Even our coffee was cold. Most of been an off night
Great Sunday brunch with family. Delicious food & awesome service!
I have been going to Lucky 32 for 7 years and it's my go to restaurant. It's a place that you can wear gown, crown or down, it's sophisticated and relaxing, it's like wearing a suite without a tie.
Service was not good. The server forgot several times what we ordered, brought us bread we we said no we did not want any, and placed our plates at the wrong person, and ... slow. Drove from North Raleigh to Cary based on our experience we recalled have from the old No Raleigh location years back. May not be making hay drive again.
Overall, Lucky 32 was great. The portions were not huge, and we had to send our poached eggs back as they were overdone. The wait staff was friendly and the cocktails were delicious.
Terrible service. Limited menu. No pasta option. Mostly beef and seafood. No shareable appetizers (not that we got a chance to order any) I left hungry and thirsty and spent $250. Waitress disappeared for 30 minutes and had to ask hostess for the check. Then they mis-charged my credit card and called me to get more money. Not going back.
Food was good. We’re regular customers and enjoy sitting at bar tables. Reservations were made for 6:45 and at 7:10 we still hadn’t been seated. Offered dining room seating that we accepted although not preferred. Waitstaff was efficient and courteous.
Great food, great service. A winner all around! I highly recommend for any occasions.
We had a great time! The service was top notch and they menu is great! Many local beers on tap. Recommend a reservation on weekends!
In all honesty, I was disappointed in the food. I think they put such a spin on Southern cooking, the list the simplicity of the cuisine. Growing up with a southern mother and in a southern family, southern cooking is about make simple things taste great. This experience made simple dishes more contemporary and complex which took away from the cuisine.
I had the wild shrimp in a tomato sauce with fried grit cakes. First, it needed (serious) salt. However, what I didn’t expect was the lack of richness. It was just boring.
So, woukd I return? Possibly, if asked. But I wouldn’t suggest this as a place if someone asked me where to eat southern cuisine.
The oysters were terrific and the best French fries I’ve ever had
Nice spot. Service was fast and attentive. Food was pretty good, but not really exceptional. The mashed sweet potatoes were great though.
Very nice all around. Nice drink menu. Seasonal menu was really good. Service great. An excellent night out.
Each time we go, we are happy with the service and the food. We usually have a group of 6 and sit at one of the round table booths. The restaurant can get noisy so the round booths close you off and allow you the opportunity to chat easily with your group. The burgers and fries are a good value at $11 and are always delicious.
