Great meal at a reasonable price
Great food and exceptional service. Vegans and vegetarians have lots of options as well, which is fantastic. Collards, kale, black eye peas and black bean cakes for me!!
Other that the restaurant has an excellent outdoor seating, I have to say over the last years the food and service has gotten not so good as it used to be!
The manager was very helpful and friendly, but the server was terrible! She didnt listen to what we have ordered...instead of sparkling water we got tap water and she never refilled our water nor did she asked us, if we want anything else! By the end of our dinner she just threw the checks on the table and we could figure out which one belonged to whom! ‚Luckily’ you can punish such a behavior by decreasing the tip! The noise level was very high! A conversation at our round table almost impossible! The food was decent!
Always amazing service and delocious food.
We always enjoy meals at Lucky 32. This one was just as good as all the rest.
The music was alittle loud and the chairs need new padding, seat sags in midde. Food was great and the waitress, I think her name was Erica was awesome!! Nice smile and did not want for anything.
Food was typical Lucky 32. Service was way off in my opinion. The waiter was just not engaged and didn’t appear to want to be there. She didn’t disclose without prodding the fish of the day or vegetable of the day. Wanted to take the orders of the men before the women. Not rude, just disinterested and apparently quite bored with being there. Either poor training for the job or unsuitable for the job or a combination of both.
I'm sorry to hear that you had a poor experience with your service. We always train our service team to be friendly and engaging, and it's disappointing to hear that we missed the mark on that. Thank you for bringing this to our attention so I can share your feedback with the team in hopes of improving. I hope you'll give us another shot for a great experience in the future!
Pleasantly surprised with this farm to table southern dining experience. All of our meals were very good and the only non local food was the bread. It came from Tribeca in NYC so you know it was good. Had the ribeye with collards which was fantastic.
Good food, fantastic waitress, great venue
I got the black bean cakes and the butterbean and corn side. Black beans were seasoned ok but dry. The vegetables had no flavor.
This is one of our restaurants that we go to every 5 to 6 weeks as food and service is always top notch. Great local restaurant and you must try it
They were out of the vegetable of the day and had to substitute for me. I asked for my snapper to be just grilled and it came blackened and overdone. The fried chicken that our friends from out of town ordered was average at best. Too much breading. Only my husband’s meal of shrimp and grits was very good. Overall, a disappointing experience. We frequent that restaurant and usually everything is good, but this meal fell
Short of your usual high standards.
It's very disappointing to hear that your most recent experience with us was so poor! The Wednesday and Sunday night Fried Chicken is one of our favorites, and I'm sorry it didn't meet your expectations. Thank you for the feedback on how it could be better! Please accept our apologies on how your fish was prepared- we can and will do better. I will share your feedback with our team, and we will make sure to improve.
We went for our Anniversary dinner and had just come across the restaurant when searching somewhere nice to eat. The food was really good and so fresh (catfish, collard greens, popcorn okra, steak) and they had a great selection of wine for our celebration. We will definitely be back!
Always innovative, and the food is always excellently prepared and served.
Overall, I thought the food was pretty good, but I felt a little "nickeled and dimed" on the kids meals. One of the two items we chose had optional chicken on it, which we didn't ask for, and it came to our table twice with the chicken and had to send it back, only to still have with chicken on the bill. And it didn't come with any side, but we ordered it assuming it did, and our waitress could have easily said, that doesn't come with a side, but she didn't. The kids meals in general didn't come with any drink option either, and it was a bit pricey in my opinion in general.
I wish we had a better experience, I think it could be a good place to go, but dining out with kids will make me pick other places.
Johnny, Please accept our apology for not being accurate with your bill! We should have corrected our mistake with the chicken on your check while you were here. Please call me at (919)233-1632 so that I may fix our error and make it up to you. Greg Miller General Manager Lucky 32 Southern Kitchen
Food was delicious and service was excellent although they did get my girlfriend's order wrong initially. Food and drinks were a little expensive but it is a very nice restaurant.
Always very good and wished we had a location in Raleigh again. Has always been a favorite!
Great food! My sister & I had a great dinner & service here on a Saturday night. Service was also great! Love that they serve Counter Culture Coffee ☕️. We are from Durham ❣️☕️👆🏼
Never fails to provide great food, great service in a casual, upscale stmosphere.
W had some trouble when we arrived. I had made reservations, but they wanted to squeeze 5 adults, 3 of which were elderly, in a booth. I asked for a table instead - booths are for small groups. The girl who seated me told that wasn't possible. I had to ask for a manager. Half of the restaurant was completely EMPTY! Unacceptable to do to someone who's going to be spending over $100 on food and drinks. Someone came out from the kitchen and finally gave a table, begrudgingly. That set the tone for the entire evening. So, even though the food was good and the servers did a great job I don't know that I'll ever return.
Thank you so very much for letting us know about your experience. I’m embarrassed at how we handled your request for a different table. Be assured that your feedback will be used to retrain our team where necessary. A mission of ours is to grant most (or all) requests that our guests make of us, and we absolutely should have been able to adjust your seating accommodations to suit the needs of your group. I’m sorry that we fumbled the ball so badly! I hope that we are given another opportunity!
This was our 2nd time at this restaurant. Both experiences were very pleasant. The food was excellent especially the Fried Green Tomato appetizer. My wife does not eat meat so she usually gets the salmon which was excellent. In addition to this we also got the black bean cakes to do (excellent as well). If you are looking for a romantic dinner get away this is an excellent location.
Went here for my sisters baby shower brunch. The food was great and the service was amazing.
Lucky 32 has a delightful brunch that is priced very reasonably. The brunch menu is not large but does have something for just about everyone. The service was a little confusing as we were never quite sure who our waiter was, but everyone was courteous. I would recommend and hope to return.
Seatly promptly for reservation. Our server had too many tables and service was lacking. At the end another waitress saw us just sitting and finished our service. She was very good. Salads excellent. Our entrees were ok.
Busy night on Wednesday! Guess it’s fried chicken night. It was good! Love this farm to table restaurant and we come here every time we come to Raleigh
Great meal and overall experience. One of our favorite local places to eat.
Very good overall experience. Attentive service from start to finish and reasonable price for the quality of the food.
We are visiting in the area and came here two nights in a row. The first was outstanding. The second a little less so. First, our servers - Joey the first night and Jasmine the second were both fantastic. The bean patty dish my wife had the first night was so delicious, I ordered the second night. It was truly fantastic.. My wife ordered a medium well done hamburger the second night. It was undercooked but she ate most of it because she did not want to wait for it to be returned to the kitchen. The woman who served it (again, not our server) didn't offer any condiments for the burger which we thought was an oversight. The side dishes - collard greens and a kale dish were outstanding. The bread is very very good. In fact when one of the servers (not our server) asked if she could remove the one remaining piece we said "no". Didn't understand why she wanted to remove it anyway. We will come here again.
Enjoyed everything about this place. Will definitely be back!
Good unique foods. Very filling. Very attentive service. Will return.
Sunday brunch was awesome. We were promptly seated at our reservation time, our server was attentive and knowledgeable and the food was delicious. We will be back.
Excellent food and service. One of the best restaurants in Cary.
Wonderful place for dinner, a little upscale from other restaurants around the area. Local beer and local food makes the experience more friendly.
I had eaten there a few days before and really enjoyed the special for the month,, a grill--so, I took my husband this time, on the week-end.
When we got the menu, saw that the dish I had was not listed and was terribly disappointed. But, I told the waitress about it and she told me that it was brunch time and that item was not on the brunch.
But the wonderful server said that she would check if they could make it for us and they did.
Appreciated her initiative and the helpfulness of the staff.
Thank you until next time.
As always the service was top notch and the food excellent
I rarely rate a restaurant a 5 but can’t think why I wouldn’t for Lucky 32. Everything was excellent. We chose L32 because we wanted to sit outside on a beautiful evening. Their outside area is quiet and well serviced. We both had excellent meals and the banana cream pie cheesecake was outstanding. We will return.
Service was great. I had the shrimp and grits and it was delicious.
Another lovely dinner at Lucky 32! We really enjoy eating there. The food is always good. The service is good. If you can, sit outside on the patio--it is much quieter there.
