Great food and outstanding service! You must try the Luckee Duck - it's so good! The soba salad is not on the menu, but is also very good. Our waiter was incredibly accommodating and on-point, and it was overall an excellent dining experience.
Waitress rocked. Helpful and friendly without being sickening.
Told staff one guest was celiac and the kitchen tried their best to accomodate. Perhaps a review of the menu to offer medical consideration option for guests.
Is a good experience. Food is good, the dim sum cart is a good feature. Service is excellent! Would definitely come back again. Good job!
Food was terrific, as always. Ambience great. Really enjoyed the evening.
Service was great and the food was top notch. This restaurant has some of the best Chinese Food I have ever eaten.
I would definitely go back - everything was great, food, service - I was a bit concerned when I realized it was in a hotel as so many hotel restaurants are over priced and under deliver. In this case while definitely a bit pricey the food was truly great. Loved it!!
Best Dim Sum in Toronto. Maybe the world? Susur Lee is a genius. This restaurant is very good. Try the Dragons Roar cocktail and Cheung Fun (spl?) dim sum.
I have been many times and this restaurant is amazing! I have never been disappointed!
Delicious dishes served by a friendly lovely woman. If you’re craving Chinese food I would highly recommend. Nice atmosphere in the room as well.
Ambience, food and service was exquisite.
Delicious dishes, with attention to details.
Great representation of Asian culture.
Vegetarian food very satisfying even as an omnivore.
The lobster dish on 16 Feb, CNY night seems a bit overpriced. It was not warm enough and for that price, it needs to be close to perfect.
I dined at Luckee at Chinese New Year in February 2018.
It was a busy Thursday evening and all the tables were full as you would expect of one of Susur Lee's restaurants, I had previously eaten at 'Lee' on King Street and had high expectations.
The menu was very varied and the servers were knowledgeable and willing to give advice and recommendations. We started with cocktails which were very good.
We had the Luckee Lobster Cheung Fun and the Shrimp Cheung Fun to start which was outstanding, with a wonderful sauce. We then had the duck pancakes, which is a small portion for 2 but very rich, so more than enough. We then had a selection of Chinese desserts all of which were delicious.
The service was ok, we waited quite a long time for our main course. That said, it was a busy evening and the service certainly wasn't bad.
I think Lee probably remains my favourite of the two, but we had an excellent meal at Luckee and I'd definitely recommend it.
Food was excellent. Highly recommend the restaurant.
Only odd part was that at last minute restaurant called to confirm reservation and stated that, because of Valentine's Day, the menu must be prix fixe because a la carte would not be offered (and at a higher rate, understandably). Absolutely fine to us, didn't even think to ask as we sat down to dinner. But as the tables started to fill around us, we noticed that most were ordering a la carte. We were half way into dinner before realizing. Not that it would have changed our plans, but just seemed odd.... and with this menu we were easily there over 2 hours.
Looking for an alternative dim sum experience? Luckee offers beautifully crafted, flavour-filled dim sum in a spacious, gorgeously designed space that is fully wheelchair accessible (ie bathrooms too). Service is attentive but not cloying.
Most expensive chinese food I've had.
Food was good and different. Price for dim sum is steep.
Excellent service. We enjoyed choosing from the menu and from the cart and tray surprises. Delicious tofu, eggplant and peppers filled w shrimp mousse. And the rice rolls filled with crunchy shrimp were amazing.
We booked a Winterlicious dinner after an exhibit opening. We were able to get away earlier. We were going to have a drink in the lounge, but let the hostess know we were there & she could seat us when a table was available. Much to our pleasure, we were able to be seated a full 45 minutes before our reservation. We had a dish from the menu, then the Winterlicious menu. It was the first time for two of our number & they will be back, as will I.
Really fun and fancy twist on Chinese food. Great place for date night. Great ambience and food presentation. A little pricey, but the food is very tasty.
A most gratifying and delicious meal. The service was splendid.
Very impressed with their food. I am Chinese and usually fusion type of Chinese food scares me. but Luckee brings new sparks to authentic flavours. Planning to bring my parents to try as well.
What a lovely experience to bring my almost adult children to---the food is an interesting topic on its own and we had entire conversations on what we were tasting. Delicious!
Yummy. All dishes are delightful, original and beautiful. Just go, enjoy the menu and try it all. Second time didn't disappoint.
Food was amazing !
Server just need to be a little bit more on top things
Great ambience and lovely staff. All of our servers were really cool and friendly! My first Sursur restaurant and I would certainly go back! Addictive dim sum.
The front left a great first impression. The servers were all excellent - engaged, friendly, positive. Some good recommendations, too.
Kitchen hit all the high notes.
We will be back.
Server very knowledgeable and helpful with menu. Attentive service from beginning to end of dinner. The food was amazing cornucopia of flavours. My friend and I enjoyed the whole experience - have already recommended Luckee restaurant to others.
What an amazing treat. We went for Winterlicious, and I'm so glad I tried this place. We sat in the lounge, which was a great choice because the dining room was crowded. We lucked out because our server was spectacular. She was also bartending. Service was fast and friendly, and she was very knowledgeable about the menu, and made some great recommendations! The food was spectacular. Best dumplings I have EVER had. This would be a great place for a business lunch or dinner before the theatre, or just ANY occasion. Loved it. Highly recommend.
Went there for winterlicious and had a great first experience. Will definitely go back for a la carte menu. Awesome service! Food was so yummy, an excellent upgraded version of authentic Chinese cuisine.
We were enjoying the restaurant until we were told we had only 15 minutes until the next reservation. Even though there were tons of tables available. Left a bad taste in our mouth. May not return.
Fried seafoood is not good, taste not tender, also taste too salty compare with the other Chinese food
Winterlicious lunch with a good friend exceeded all expectations, which were already high.
Delicious creative dishes, friendly attentive service, but never intrusive.
Wonderful, will certainly revisit.
Tried the restaurant through Winterlicious. I don't think I could afford it otherwise! Food was delicious although service was on the slow side.
Prompt seating and excellent service. The food was visually stunning and wonderful flavours too.
Will return to try more menu items.
three friends were together for a mid-winter lunch treat at Luckee. we all very much enjoyed the food . . . we shared two additional exceptional sushi starters. our appetizers and mains were beautifully presented and were very tasty. and the dessert trio . . . exceptional! server was attentive and did not rush us. as we were not pressured to leave, we had a good time getting caught up on the news of the day. thoroughly enjoyed our time at Luckee.
Luckee was a real treat! Their creative, modern takes on traditional Asian dishes were a joy. The decor is approached in the same way and is casual, but elegant. Service was excellent and the food was delicious. Don't miss their signature dim sum, and try the wonderful guava creme brulee. An excellent discovery that is close to the theatre district and the Rogers Centre. The huge bar space makes it an excellent spot for a drink, too.
Have yet to be disappointed by any of Susur Lee's Restaurants! Great food and service :)
Went here for winterlicious and the menu itself sounded delicious with difficult to choose options because everything sounded great. My friends and I each picked a different item on the menu so we could try it all and we were not disappointed with any of the options. Full of flavour, tender pieces of meat, and delicious desserts. The staff are also very friendly and attentive.
My husband and I were so disappointed.
App was fine.
The main was a disgrace. Deep fried balls of tasteless seafood ??. Rice couldn't be picked up with chopsticks...dry... no flavour.
Couldn't read the Winterlicious menu as the lighting cast a red glow on orange and white menu.
One glass of Pinot Grigio each - very small.
Dessert - nothing special.
Total $150.00 for Winterlicious. Will never return to Luckee. Shocked that Susur Lee would approve this.
Cocktails were average and few selection. They also arrived late. I wouldn't recommend the cocktails. Dimsums and the food was decent. Fire alarm went off and was super annoying but can't blame anyone. I'd rather go to Lee ( King st) instead. They have way more selection for food and cocktails! I think you'll get a better value.
