Luckee features Chinese cuisine at its most sophisticated, with comforting and recognizable recipes of classic dishes and dim sum for the culinary traditions of Guangzhou, Hunan and Szechuan regions, updated and enhanced by Chef Lee's delectable signature.
The interiors subtly blend accents of imperial red and wall-to-wall panels of dynastic architecture, with a nod to 20th century Chinoiserie.
Luckee Bar, already a favourite of locals and travellers alike, boasts themed as well as classical cocktails, an extensive wine list, and an urban vibe that is one-of-a-kind.

The restaurant no longer exists. I had family from out of town visit and PICK this place for a number of reasons and left us scrambling for any suitable alternative. My visitors are not mobile and we would have planned our entire day differently if we knew Luckee was closed.
We heard that Luckee is going out of business after dec 23, we went to try it out before it goes out. But after trying, we figured there is always a reason why it's going out of business and here is what I thought.
1. Over priced.
2. Not authentic Chinese dim sum. The tastes of the sauces and other ingredients were too much. Covered the tastes of the main ingredient.
For the same amount I paid, I could get much better Chinese dimsum else where.
Excellent food. Luckee Duck is amazing! So is the soba noodle salad and cheung fun. Incredibly caring staff. So sad to hear it is closing.
So sad to see this restaurant going ! We have been clients for few years ....
Food was outstanding.
As wonderful as always
Thank you for a truly fabulous night
The food came out just a few minutes after ordering, I am notnto sur
So sad that Luckee is closing, we will greatly miss the amazing food and atmosphere. I hope the owner opens something new soon
Sadly, we now see why this place is closing. The dumplings were pretty but there wasn’t anything that made these stand out from anywhere else. We’ve honestly had better in Markham... As my boyfriend kept saying, it seemed like he was just at any mediocre Asian diner. Unfortunate given that Lee is such a wonderful restaurant. We had high hopes. Best of luck...
Great food, some with a lovely twist. All very good quality and great value for money
Loved the food. Cheung Fun and Soft shell crab cake really nice. So thankful for them to celebrate wife's birthday with a special dessert.
Scheduled to close forever, your last chance to have a memorable, delicious, fusion dim sum & Chinese stables like duck, cod, dumplings and noodles, is SUNDAY DECEMBER 23, 2018. Chef owner Susur Lee once again excels with his take on traditional Chinese "little offerings of the heart" . The features menu for these final days offer those of us who can get a table in this ground floor restaurant & bar of the Toronto downtown hotel SoHo Metropolitan, one last chance to enjoy the suitably decorated (the window beches are Hong Kong's Star Ferry-esque) and pretty restaurant's all-star favourites. We ordered one of each of these features, plus a number of dishes from the main menu, to create our gianormous tasting menu aka feast. We were very full, but our taste buds did not complain one single bit. There is nothing like this in Toronto, and soon there really will be nothing like this in Toronto. Thanks for the experience Susur Lee and Luckee crew.
Not what expected. Did not have the Sasur "wow" factor. Not as different from traditional Chinese as expected - flavors not more powerful, textures not a lot zippier. Dim Sum mixture rather bland. Kang Pao Shrimp ridiculous small - 3 big shrimp, very few vegetables, skimpy sauce - and frankly much different (actually more bland, less flavor) than what we would get in a traditional Spadina area restaurant. The Duck Rolls were quite good - like moo shu with duck and apples - skimpy but delicious. But not worth the price. Overall very disappointing.
Second visit, outstanding food and service.
Nice birthday celebration with 5 women.
Food was very good however very pricy for what it is.
Example. Short rib dish. 4 pc for $28?
We had to order 2 rib dishes for all of us to have a pc.
Lotus leaf with rice was just ok. Very dry and little meat. Although nice presentation.
Thank you for an unforgettable experience to entertain clients!! Service impeccable and food superb!
Great food but too expensive given the portions. Not sure I would go back
Our server was AMAZING (of course i cannot remember her name). Someone was always clearing empty plates and refilling our water. The courses were perfectly timed. We had a wonderful time there and would highly recommend you go! The only downside was that it's a more expensive restaurant so the value may not be there for some people but I thought the quality all around was phenomenal.
great menu with lots of variety. Every dish we had was prepared perfectly. all had great flavours and were delicious. Service was outstanding, particularly since it was a very busy saturday night
Excellent food, served quickly but paced out just right.
Service is super friendly and always professional. Perfect setting for a fun night out with friends, entertaining clients or date night!
Great service too
Top notch service and flavors with plenty of adventuresome choices.
Mushroom allergy. Explained to waitress. She said only Siu Mai had mushrooms. In Luckee basket. No actullay 4of 6 items have mushrooms or truffle oil.
Asked for anothe appetizer again told NO mushrooms at all. 1 of 5 items with mushrooms! Are you kidding me! How dare you not listen and provide me with safe food for my consumption. Allergies are extremely serious. Shameful! Train your staff or you will be sued!
Great overall experience! Our waitress was very attentive and super helpful telling us how much to order. She was also very transparent about dishes that were more worthwhile for us to order compared to others.
The shrimp cheung fun was beyond good! Our party ended up ordering an extra order after the appetizers came cause it were so good. The short rib main was also another table favorite. Pair it with the bean and broccoli sides and you won’t be disappointed!
It's a great night, the sever is excellent
Better than I thought it would be and I was expecting great!
Excellent as always. Been here a number of times and always impressed.
Hands down some of the best service in the city! Their attention to detail and knowledge of their menu is incredible. The quality of food and flavors are perfection!
Overall, good and I would go again.
The mixed dim sum and entrée setup allows for something for everybody.
I would say that we ordered quite a bit of food, and everything was at least good if not great. There was one item that really stood out (Cheung fen), but not much else was spectacular.
What WAS spectacular was our service. From the moment you walk in the door, the treatment by staff and ambience was wonderful.
Our server was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. Seevice was times impeccably well, and flowed nicely from one dish to the next.
It was a great experience! Amazing dim sum!
Been here many time always an outstanding dining experience will be back again and again!!!
Gourmet. Asian. Awesome. Not a buffet place at all.
Sadly super disappointed -
I am a huge Susur Lee fan and Lee on King is my fave. This was sub par for $80/ person
I actually had to send a plate back it was Ssoo salty it was gross.
Lobster won ton soup is a pass. But otherwise I wouldn’t recommend spending that kind of money here.
Enjoyed the meal very much. Dim Sum is really terrific...very creative! Main Chinese dishes were also excellent. Been there twice now and will make this a regular part of restaurant rotation.
Food was ok but SO not worth the price. Would not go back or recommend.
Really nice find on a recent visit to Toronto. Great Chinese food and great staff. Very eager to recommend and suggest dishes, mixes etc. Lovely ambience and would highly recommend the restaurant. Will definitely be back when next in Toronto.
the best Chinese cuisine in all of north america..service is super
This wasn’t our first time here but it was as great as it has always been. The staff is knowledgeable about the menu and make incredible recommendations. We were there to celebrate my fiancée’s birthday and they even brought out a little treat for her at the end (guava creme brûlée, which was fantastic), we weren’t expecting it at all. Overall, it was a great dinner!
Excellent food and service
