I was surprisingly pleased at how much I enjoyed eating at Lucille at Drury Lane. The food was excellent, although a bit pricey. The service was fine. I will definitely dine there again.

Consistently great food and outstanding wait staff.

Service was erratic at times. Sometimes very good and then sometimes you could not get their attention. The Lobster Bisque was good, but for me you can skip the "greens" that you put in it. I would have preferred it without them and was detrimental to the overall product. And several things about the meat appetizer that we had. The meat was dry, and I did not really care for the sauce that came with it. Nice room though.

Great brunch! So many choices we couldn’t even try everything. We shared some items just so we could taste more.
We treat ourselves and friends or family every few months. The bloody Mary’s were great too.

Dined after the show. Food is always good. Didn’t find the mixed mushroom appetizer they used to have, missed that.

Afternoon tea service was really nice. Good ambiance. Great and prompt service. Great price for unlimited champagne. Would like different variety pastries/tea sandwiches though. But I’d definitely recommend going here.

We attended the French Tea. When we arrived and were seated, we were put in the lounge with music blasting. I requested a seat change. The manager was kind to change us and have the music ended in the bar. The little sandwiches and deserts were a disappointed especially for Drury lane. The sandwiches barely had any spread on them. I could get better scones and the store. The cute tower cookies were nice but hard to eat. For a French tea, something chocolate would have been nice. The second crepe maker broke and only one girl was able to make them - one at a time! We arrived at 1:30 and waited until 3:30 pm to get in the line for a crepe which was not worth it. The most disappointing fact is that you could not try different teas. You could only get 1 additional refill of HOT WATER with the 1 TEA BAG you were given. I also would expect for the money at least a few more sandwiches especially when sharing. Our table did not have any one really excited about the unlimited Champaign. For those who don't drink a discount would have been nice and perhaps given us more TEA. So for us, the experience was not worth it. All the other meals we have had their are great. But I would not recommend the tea experience.

Food: The tea was AMAZING as were the scones. The finger sandwiches were very small and dry. The line for crepes was frustratingly long, perhaps 2 stations would be warranted. After the line, crepes were only okay.
Server: He interrupted more than the average server and felt a bit intrusive. I dine out often and understand he has a job to do but his demeanor was a bit rude.
Ambiance: The harp was delightful. The room was beautiful.
Overall: My friends and I enjoyed our experience but probably will not return.

Great service. Great theater, hotel with the HIlton Suites Oakbrook Terrace, and the dinning was first class.

We ate before an evening performance and the food was great, service was great. Easy but sophisticated dining before the show, and it’s right there so no rushing. Great choice.

Very limited menu on the pricey side. Very poor service this time...was better in the past. Maybe short staffed? Probably won’t go back again before the show.

Always enjoy dinner before the play. The food is consistently good. Wish the wine list was a bit larger but what they offer is good

For the hour that we were there, we spent over $100. The food was good not great. We have been season ticket holders for 7 or 8 years and have never eaten at the restaurant. We now know why we have not. If it was more reasonably priced, we might consider going again but way too expensive with so many choices around the Oakbrook Area

It’s very convenient if you’re going to the show at Drury lane. Service was outstanding however I feel the prime rib did not meet expectations especially for $32 not including a potato or any sides. Next time I’ll order something else.

Lunch before the play. Pricey for lunch but it was the alcohol I am sure. Lovely time.

One of the worst dinning experiences bee have had. The service was very slow from the time, 6:40) we sat down to having to ask the manager for our bill so we could get to the attached theater- we were 10 minutes late for the start of the play and had to wait at the door. We were assured that the play would not start until all at the resturant were finished.

We had to wait for drinks and water. Once we got the servers attention to order we waited a long time for our orders to arrive. When I asked about the order I was told that everyone was waiting and all were going to to play, there were a number of tables around us that were complaining about the poor service.

Two of the steak orders were very under cooked. One was sent back and went from very rare to well done.

We would not recommend this place to anyone.

Very disappointing the last two times we've been there. Slow service at the end. Waited way too long to pay the bill. Too limited a menu with only 8 entrees. We come 5 or 6 times a theatre season and used to love it although the menu was somewhat limited. At least offer a few specials. Someone is doing too much penny pinching and there are too many other good restaurants in the area to come to Lucille with the new attitude.

As a season subscriber we all had an appetizer and I had the sirloin and it was excellent. Altho Halibut was on the menu - they were out of it but the waitress recommended the Barmundi that she said was prepared the same way and was also very good.

Glad we had a reservation as the place became crowded pretty quickly. Our server, Ashley, was very nice. Food was quite good. Lovely room. We'll go again.

A very nice restaurant but has a small menu. They need more vegetarian options. Would recommend to others.

The food was good but not worth the price! The service was terrible they never even asked what we wanted to drink throughout the whole meal coffee tea etc! The ambience is old and needs to be updated drastically. The price of 45.00 was definitely not worth it!

Their menu is ala carte & quite expensive for what you get. There is also not a big selection to choose from. The only reason we eat there is that it is convenient if you are seeing a play there.

Excellent food and service for pre-theater. Quiet, serene atmosphere.

Lunch was okay. Crab cakes are good. Sandwiches are very good. Should ask for dressing on the side for Caesar salad if possible. Salad was too soggy.

The waiter told me the wrong sides to my meal and continued to act like it was an ok mistake. He took the vegetables back and gave no discount for the returned wrong vegetable.

My friend and I ate here at 12:00 before the 1:30 performance. We really enjoyed our lunch! Food was very good (actually better than expected). We could hear each other talk, so nice. Service was good. We had the fixed price lunch—the salad was large, and the entree excellent. What a nice way to start the afternoon!

We arrived early and were promptly seated. Staff was very attentive and understanding that we had to have a long conversation. Food is reasonably priced and quite tasty. The atmosphere is so pleasant and the decor is beautiful.

It was good maybe a little on the high side$$. Nice to go there before the play we were seeing.

Great food with lots of variety. Waitress was friendly, quickly removed our dirty plates, and kept our champagne glasses full. The section where we were seated was nice and quiet. The restaurant was very nice and clean. We didn’t take our kids because we weren’t sure they would find enough foods to eat, but after seeing the selections, we know they would have enjoyed it. We had a great time at the Valentine’s brunch. We definitely plan on going again and taking our kids.

I have recommended this brunch to many because I believe it is worth it. The food selection is phenomenal. Just make sure you pace yourself because you will want one of each.

We went to the Galentine's Tea. It would have been great if the sandwiches were not completely
dried out and the bread had started curling. The sweets were fine. The scones were dry and crunchy. The champagne was good just a bit sweet for my taste.
Our server was wonderful.

Our wait time between courses took too long, we Couldn’t finish our main course or dessert at our table and had to get doggie bags.

Staff kept telling us they would hold the show because so many people were running late. This was a bold face lie, the show started at 8 sharp and we missed the beginning number.

I will not dine at Lucille again.

Though my wife and I and our friends were aware of the limited Valentines Day selections and the larger price we decided to try it anyway, given the convenience to the Drury Lane theater. However, the experience disappointed in several respects. Most noticeably the service was so slow as to delay in the start musical. We were told the seafood tower appetizer contained raw oysters, which left only the charcuterie selection containing too much cheese and sausage, with a too-spicy relish. The salad was satisfactory, though my wife's dressing was not served on the side as requested. Both the barramundi and chateaubriand entrees were tasty, though our order was mistaken by either the server or the cooks and my wife had to wait an extra ten minutes for her meal, as they brought her the beef rather than the fish she ordered. In consequence our dining was a bit rushed, followed by a rather long wait for the check. Overall not well executed, but not our usual experience at Lucille and for that reason we would still recommend the restaurant to those attending the theater. We hope and expect our next experience will be a better one.
