Lucille at Drury Lane
it was very over priced for the food quality of food that was served.
The venue was too crowded with the tables close together. It was very noisy. Went on Thanksgiving day and they ran out of turkey and pumpkin pie! We have been to brunch at this venue and I would suggest to anyone not to go on a holiday but an off-Sunday to experience the atmosphere. We have had many good brunches over the years. Wait staff was working very hard and seemed to be doing the best they could.
It was such a great place to go for our family Thanksgiving brunch. The selection of desserts was impressive. Also, the Bloody Mary bar and mimosas were fabulous.
Everything was wonderful...some food wasnt very warm which is why I gave 4 stars. The ambiance scored low because we were at a table were one side wasnt chairs but a booth very uncomfortable and so close to the other party that everytime we or them shimmied out from the booth we were putting our behinds right in their face!! Not to mention bouncing each other up and down. And we found the room to be exceptionally warm we were all sweating and we werent dressed warmly. And again being so on top of the other guests we felt like we could not really converse freely.
Perfect That we all enjoyed. We will definitely do it again.
Was a nice way to spend a holiday. Need to fix the wait time the reservation was at 1:15 we were not in until 130.
We have gone to this venue for over 18 years maybe longer for holiday. The food selections have been thinned out with some basics eliminated. One of the favorites was the country style rigatoni replacer with mostacholi. No deviled eggs which I heard several people complain about. The carving station guys seemed deliberately slow and the oysters seemed frozen because they lacked the normal juices and flavor. The momossa glasses were half the size while the managers party sitting next to us were the original style. I was thankful for all the staff that works to make others holiday nice yet feel the Managment made huge cuts to the food and raise the price to $65 - Very disappointed we celebrated thanksgiving there.
Cameron was our outstanding server. Food assortment very good. Had to change out a couple slices of turkey as mine was undercook....sorry Chef. While the assortment of food is outstanding, the price just can’t go up anymore! $65 pp is a lot. Plus tax and tip almost $85 pp.
After years of coming here for their holiday buffet the food is no longer the same. There is no longer any presentation (no fruit carving in the shape of a turkey for example) dirty broken chaffers just sitting on plain tables, and less food choices. The food that was presented seemed low quality. I was told a new executive chef was hired recently that may explain what happened. To give you an idea, think Golden Corral or Old Country Buffet.
Great place to be great fun for our bounty in Smerica.
Great selection of food, great friendly service and beautifully decorated lobby for picture opportunities.
Thanksgiving brunch with family! Great service and food.
This was our second time here. I walk with a walker, so it was nice to take advantage of valet parking. All of the staff was very accommodating, they even switched our seating to make it easier to get around. The food was excellent. There were so many selections. We would definitely come back.
The buffet is fabulous. Wish it was more affordable so more people can enjoy the experience. I would attend more often if it wasnt so expensive.
Love their Thansgiving spread. Great food, service.
Fantastic brunch, but bring back the crepe table please!
I have been going to drury lane every year for the last 20 years during Thanksgiving time to dine and see a show. This year, soooo much was lacking from our dining experience. No more white linens on the tables, no white gloved service, the menu had very few choices and no specials. The $38 filet was ala carte. Some entrees came with sides, some did not. And this is the first year the dinner theater package was not offered. The food was good but we were very disappointed in the overall experience and will sadly not be returning to this restaurant for the dinner portion of our evening at drury lane.
We were celebrating our grandson’s birthday with lunch and Mary Poppins Show. It was all great!
The service was good, but food was just average. Small menu. It is convenient when seeing a play though.
I took a friend to brunch here and was fortunate to be able to book a reservation the day before. The ambience was great as was the service. We enjoyed everything we tried and were very happy with the various brunch options that were included. I will definitely be back!
Not worth the money. My son and I had a 615pm reservation and while we were seated right away, our waitress didn't come to our table until at least 630 to just get our drink order. I finished my 10 dollar cocktail pretty fast and would have loved another, but no one came to ask me that. Our food didn't come out until almost 730pm, (our show started at 8pm), and my sons french fries were lukewarm and my vegetables were undercooked. The biggest issue I had is I was fully willing to pay for at least 2 cocktails and buy dessert as it was my son's first time at the theatre...but since the service was so bad, no one asked if I wanted another cocktail until I was practically done with dinner, I had to ask for silverware with my meal, and there was no time for dessert. No one apologized for the delays, or for the slip ups with no silverware. While none of these things on their own are big deals, all together coupled with the fact that this is an expensive place to eat just disappointed my son and I. Not worth what they charge for a meal. I can easily go to a nice restaurant down the street next time and get better service before my next show. Won't be back here anymore.
Kids prices are too EXPENSIVE... they don’t eat that much
Too expensive. I was forced to give a $33 tip. In a brunch you are serving yourself. That day was my grandson's birthday and I expected a piece of cake with a candle or something for him and got nothing. Poor for me spending $250 for 6 people. They knew about his birthday and did nothing. The decaf tasted like instant Sanka coffee.
I highly recommend Lucille at Drury Lane for your Brunch. We have had Family Events as well as work related events and everything is always fantastic. Nobody does it better!
We have been to Drury Lane for their Sunday brunch many times. It appears that they have done some updating of the furnishings. New chairs were very comfortable. They offer a nice selection of food. We always go for the first seating.
Amazing variety of meal courses. Very Clean and waiters very nice. Always enjoy our brunch time.
great food and presentation. Makes a night at the theater complete
Great option for pre-theatre dining. Dining area is separated nicely from the lobby to afford a quiet dining experience.
Food was good and service was great. Went there with five others for dinner before the theater. I would go back!
Always a pleasure to dine here. Very pleased to see that one of the waiters was promoted from within to Host. He was our waiter in the past and we complimented him on a well deserved position promotion. Thank you for recognizing valuable employees which you do have!
We had a great Ashley was our server and she was awesome. We can’t wait to go back
The Tilapia was unedable due to its oily nature. The Maitre D' handled the problem excellently, and brought another main course, which was excellent.
My friend and I enjoyed our lunch at Lucille’s very much. Our waiter was gracious and attentive, and the food is delicious! We’ll be back again!
Food was delicious. Wait staff was very attentive. Beautiful place.
The ambiance was wonderful as always.,,prime rib like butter...disappointed however with the cannoli and the chicken parmesan. Cannoli was soft and too sweet and chicken park only fair,
Fabio wasn’t his usual fabulous server self. Everything came out piecemeal, too warm or too cold, or just plain wrong. No checkin “how is everything?”
Chef-Demi-awesome (if not very accurate-but who’s accountable for the guest)? Yes, the.... drum 🥁 roll...
Server- distracted, inattentive, overwhelmed
We’ll try again in the future!
Very convenient if you have a show to attend. The food and service has improved considerably in the last year or so.
Lucille is a quiet and easy place to enjoy dinner before the show at Drury Lane Theater. The food is quite good with generous portions and the desserts are sized to share.
Great place if you are going to the show. Very convenient to arrive about an hour and a half before the show and just walk in after finishing dinner.
Excellent food for good value. It was clear that the subscription members received extra service. we will enjoy again in the future.
