Lucille at Drury Lane
Great brunch! We will definitely come back, plenty of options and everything was good
The food was amazing as was the selection. This was my first time here and I'm sure I'll be back. I just can't think about it now because I'm still full.
We had a wonderful meal prior to attending the show. The ONLY downfall was that our server never came back to our table after we had finished eating. We were told the table was "ours" until the brunch was over, which we appreciated, but after 45 minutes we had to flag her down to get the check. Coffee and water refills stopped despite the fact others were still getting service all around us.
A group of us took a friend who is moving from Chicago to the Sunday brunch on Palm Sunday. It was more of a farewell event. This was my second time at Lucille's Sunday Brunch at Drury Lane in Oakbrook. We had a fantastic time. The food was excellent and there was a large selection of meal options. Well worth the money. The staff there is wonderful. Everyone is so helpful and friendly. I will definitely be coming back bringing more friends.
It was fine for convenience pre show. Our server was very nice, but seemed over worked and therefore slow. After dinner it took a long time before we were given dessert menus, and then even longer for her to be back with the desserts.
Delicious food! Food service was a little slow, but servers assistants/bussers always coming by with bread/water refills
Hope it was just a bad night for them but it’s was 15 minutes to be said hello too and 29 minutes from when we got our not great dinner til someone asked if we wanted dessert or check the show was due to start in 15 minutes at that time so no time for dessert even though we were starving after the dinner check arrived 4 minutes before showtime
All the tables around us were having the same issue
Out server Whitney was wonderful.
Great brunch for moms birthday!!
Our server was wonderful. Great experience as usual.
Excellent all around! Delightful experience before attending a performance with friend. Relaxed and non rushed. Would definetly recommend to all.
We had a wonderful waitress and timing was great to allow time to see the show. The food was great.
Enjoyed a pre-theatre dinner. Our server, Rose, was exceptional. She was very energetic and knowledgeable about the menus. Her timing of the serving of drinks, soups, entrees and desert was spot on. We never were rushed and had plenty of time to relax before the show.
I would definitely return. This was our second time dining at Lucille and Rose was our server both times. She did an impeccable job both times.
We've enjoyed the brunch at Lucille's many times in the past. This was unusual. The place was packed and we were placed in the back of the back room (we've always sat in the main dining room). It was crowded, obnoxiously loud, and the service was mediocre at best, which was disappointing. The food was awesome, as it always has been. We're hoping that this visit was an anomaly. We'll be back in the future but if it happens again, at this price, it will no longer be our "go-to" celebration place.
Wonderful experience. They have everything, meat, egg, crêpe, waffle, kids, seafood, & dessert station, fresh donuts & pastries. They cover everything. With the $40 price point it looked as thpugh Mimosa’s are included. We chose to do the build your own bloody is at $10 per drink. Only suggestion is with the Bloody Mary’s you all should really figure out a set price for an unlimited option, even for the other drink choice options as well.
This was my first visit and I was very please with everything! It is a beautiful atmosphere and the food was incredible with so many great options! The service was fantastic and I really liked that they let us take our time and didn't push us out, given that it was a buffet dinner. It was a very relaxing and most enjoyable time. I would highly recommend visiting, especially if you have picky eaters because there is something for everyone! Excellent !
The restaurant is beautiful, and everyone was very friendly. The bread server was on point! While our actual server was very nice, he didn’t check on us. He didn’t serve our food (which is fine), but that meant he never came came around to see if we needed something....we had to try to find him or someone else to help us. We didn’t need much , but we would have liked another round of cocktails. There also wasn’t one time someone came to fill my iced tea without me looking for someone and making the request. The food was fine, and what you would expect from a banquet type facility.
great service and wonderful food. wine and drinks were great and quickly served
Room was nice but not special. This venue has many beautiful flower arrangements.... I did not notice any in this room. Greenery would help the coldness of the room. Servers were excellent. Treats very good. I wasn’t that happy that everything came out at once. Food items are brought out separately at other teas.
Nice afternoon and I will try it again.
The food and wine were very good. Shrimp cocktail was good.
Chocolate cake for dessert was outstanding - very fudgy.
Very attentive waiter! Service was much better than in the past.
A beautiful room for a wonderful dinner prior to the play 👏....keep up the good work!
Whether you are seeing a play or not, Lucille’s restaurant at Drury Lane is first class all the way! An impressive display for the palette as well as yummy for the tummy! The bonus is the very professional and talented actors that are at Drury Lane Theater!
a very enjoyable lunch great service with excellent food along with moderate prices.
Very good food, service and ambience. Probably the best value for a big eater, which I am not.
The variety and quality of food was amazing. This was the best brunch we have been to in years. The staff made sure the food never ran out and our waiter and waitress was so attentive and friendly. We are already planning our next visit.
A wonderful place to start the evening when going to the performance.
It is also a perfect place for just having a wonderful romantic evening with your spouse.
Our burger, mashed potatoes, fries, salads and shrimp with grits were great! Unfortunately, the pizza we ordered for our daughter off the children's menu for $10 was terrible. It was a poor quality frozen cheese pizza. They should be able to do better for $10.
Service was excellent. The setting is beautiful and elegant. We loved that.
Also, the cheesecake was delicious and the serving very generous.
Charming pre-theatre ambiance, especially for my eight year old granddaughter. Attentive and cheerful wait staff. The Calamari Fritto Misto appetizer was a delicious surprise: there were also artichokes and thinly sliced pickled peppers in a very light and lemony batter.
Service was somewhat slow. Some food items were good but others not good. Flank steak was tough and salmon sauce was gelatin like. Prices rather high for a la carte.
Not likely to return. Many better restaurants in the area.
Our regular season play night date. Great service ambiance and food. We always have a wonderful evening.
It's convenient to see the show then walk right over for a good meal.
It was a very nice St. Patrick's Day. You should have the bag pipes next year.
My parents used to take me to DuryLane as a child. Now that I have a daughter I couldn't wait to take her. It was just how I remembered. Couldn't be happier!
Service was excellent. Food was pretty bad. Spent $22 for a piece of salmon that was dry and tasteless. Didn’t eat more than a few bites. Nobody questioned it when they cleared our plates. EXCELLENT waitress.
Took 20 minutes for server to greet us and get drunk order. Wait staff (water and bread ) were awesome and always will to get something Head waiter barely made himself known
Always a delight to eat here before a Play! Service is so nice.
Overall everything was good. Our waiter was great. But the bus persons were practically taking away our plates & food before we were done. This happened several times.
Lucille was very friendly and attentive. She is a good server!!!
We celebrated my daughters 22nd birthday. It is an enjoyable experience for every age.
Food was amazing. Entire staff were very caring and made sure the food was exactly as requested. Portions at carving station were appropriate. Would go back any time!
