Lucille at Drury Lane
Brunch and a play. Great service and food was a lovely variety! Very warm in there though and coffee wasn’t very good. But the mimosas were!
Server was not very attentive. Took forever to get our check.
Great buffet, wonderful assortment of items to satisfy everyone.
Beautiful and food was amazing. We ate there before the play, steak was cooked perfectly.
The food and service was impeccable. We made a late reservation in order to attend an 8:30P theater performance. Dining at Lucille was perfect.
We were celebrating a birthday and Valentine’s Day before we saw a show at the theater. Our reservation was 3:30 for a 5:00 show. The food was very good, service was attentive without being overbearing. The servers were aware of the time and how it affected our meal. We ate dinner but noticed some people enjoyed high tea. It looked like a lot of fun. The burger was huge (double patty, which I didn’t realize) and flavor packed. It comes with fries which were meh just ok. The slow roasted chicken was tender and juicy. Chocolate cake for dessert was decadent. Definitely recommend!
Have been there many times and past service was slow. Seems a new staff are much more attentive and friendly. Food was very good, do recommend
On Valentine’s Day, we reserved a table for 2 before the 1:30 show at Drury Lane. We usually do not go out on Valentine’s Day because restaurants try to push you out so fast and raise prices. Drury Lane was the best. Great food, fabulous wait staff and after our meal was served we were not rush out. We love this place for live theatre and a great meal.
Second time dining before a play and second time I felt that after we ordered, the wheels fell off the bus. I don't blame our waitress. There just aren't enough! It looked like she had half the room! Little things slip through the cracks, like checking on our drinks, do we want another with our dinner. Waiting for the check. She just seemed very rushed... And if were weren't going in to the play, it may not have mattered, but we did have a time limit as we were going to the play. Food is excellent, by the way!
Drury Lane is my family’s go to place for important celebrations!
We've been attending the Sunday brunch at Drury Lane for years and it's always a treat. The staff is constantly monitoring the food supply and even if something isn't completely empty, it's refreshed. Everything was presentable and delicious — options for everyone regardless of diet (or not!). Our server Cameron was a real gem. Always on-hand to offer more champagne and to take away our dirty plates. It is truly a wonderful experience that should not be reserved for special occasions alone.
My eight year old granddaughter and I celebrated an early Valentine’s Day with tea at Lucille’s. We had a most enjoyable afternoon, and both of us hope to return very soon.
We had dinner before going to the theater. The food was great and service was good!
We enjoyed our mother daughter date with a brunch :)
We come often for Sunday brunch, this past visit was a little disappointing. The mini cheesecake dessert was dried out.and the strawberry yogurt was sour spoiled . Usually the salmon is good But this time was not soo good .
The food that was on the menu for restaurant week was excellent.
Pleasantly surprised at the quality of food and ambiance of the restaurant. We came before
a show but would return just to have dinner. Thanks for a great evening!
Excellent food and service! The fresh bread is very good.
Always make time at the bar before seeing the wonderful shows at Drury Lane. My husband and i have been subscribers since the theater opened.
It certainly is convenient to have a restaurant at the venue you will be attending a play. It’s a bonus to have very good food delivered by a pleasant and efficient staff.
Everything was wonderful!
Ordered a filet... no taste... nothing accompanied it. Too pricey for a hunk of meat.
It is always a pleasant experience dining at Lucille's.
We were seated as soon as we arrived--and we were 10 minutes early. We had a GREAT waitress, Rose. She was very attentive and personable. We had a relaxed dinner and had plenty of time to get to the performance.
Before play visit, Xmas gift
Good food, nice atmosphere. Great bread selection, nice salad. Somewhat limited entree selection but well executed.
Selection was outstanding!!!!! Fabian our server was great!!!!!
I would try to keep the prices firm. It's $40 before tax and tip. How many people can do this more than once a year.
My wife and I took our moms to Lucille's for a holiday brunch. Selection of food items was impressive, as was the staff and cleanliness of the restaurant. Nice work Lucille's! We will be back.
My family (husband & 2 daughters ages 9 and 6) and I had dinner here before we saw Beauty and The Beast. This was our second time eating at this restaurant. Our first time was in December 2018, we had the breakfast brunch after we saw a Christmas Carol. My daughters enjoyed it so much that we have made it into our annual holiday family tradition to attend a play at Drury Lane & Lucille Restaurant. They enjoy the atmosphere (getting dressed up) and having brunch/dinner by the big Christmas Tree. We will be back in December to see Mary Poppins. I want my daughters to appreciate theater and Drury Lane is a great place for them to experience the many plays that are performed here.
We waited so long for our food we almost missed the show. The musical began at 8:00 and since the restaurant is right there we made our reservations for 6:30. We arrived on time and were seated quickly. We were only given 1 actual menu and 2 pre-theater menus. We already knew we did not want anything on the pre-theater menu and waited a long time to get a second menu. Again we had a very long wait to place our order of chopped salad to share, salmon, and mahi mahi. The salad arrived without a long wait but the seafood did not arrive until 7:43. How are you to enjoy food that you have to eat so quickly? The service was terrible. The waitress said it was the kitchen that delayed our food and she apologized several times. We heard her apologizing to several other tables too. We were not the last group to get our food. Others were just being served as we were finishing our meal. Each year with our theater subscription we are given a complementary coupon; this year it was for a bottle of wine if we ordered an entree. It has probably been 7 or more years since we dined at the theater and deciding to take advantage of this offer was a mistake. If you decide to dine at Lucille's I recommend that you arrive as soon as they open. The food was fine, not outstanding.
Extremely disappointed after our dinner dining experience. The service was so slow we didn’t have time for dessert before our showtime, this even after allotting an hour and a half timeframe for dinner. We had to send back one entree as it was served to us burnt. We were very surprised and disappointed at the poor quality of the dinner entrees as we have been enjoying the exceptional brunch here for years. Incredibly overpriced for the quality of the food, the poor service and for the overall dinner dining experience.
Our server was excellent; however, the food took a really long time to come out. We sat for our reservation at 6:15. We ordered around 6:30. Our salads and drinks came after a reasonable amount of time, but we had to wait until 7:45 for our dinners to come. We were worried we would miss our 8:00 show time. Our waitress even offered to box up our leftovers and let us eat them at intermission. She assured us that they were holding the start of the show until 8:05-8:10 because the kitchen was so backed up. We were able to finish our entrees in time for the show, but I'm not sure why the wait was so long. The food was delicious, as always.
Excellent way to celebrate New Year's Day...rather go out for brunch than dinner on the Eve. Everyone was extremely helpful and pleasant. So many entrees to choose from - pasta bar, crepes station, a different omelet station, another for waffles and of course a carving station. Kids loved the hot chocolate station and then wonderful salads, appetizers and desserts. Made a long family visit together. Great time to celebrate with family. Thanks for a wonderful day.
Food and atmosphere were great however, the waiter was slow in bringing additional water to the table.
Big family New Year’s Day brunch. Really good, good value .
Spectacular!! Brunch is delicious and wonderful! Cameron our server made our New Year Day brunch perfect with Superior service, warmth and friendliness.
Great experience overall. We had NY eve dinner. Great place, grate decorations, comfortable table and seating, good quality of food, a bit pricy though ok for special occasion. Kids menu is available. I don’t rate the experience as 5 stars because the waiting time between theater show and the dinner was 1.5 hours. It would be great if there were available places for the family to seat during that time or any kind of entertainment for that time
My wife and I went to Lucille at Drury Lane for a 6:30 p.m. dinner prior to 8:30 p.m. show of Beauty and the Beast. The food was good, however, it was a little over priced. The service was very slow. I actually try to look at the bright side of things and I let my wife know that I was paying for her time to be with me on New Years eve. We had a great time at the show and we spent good quality time together waiting for our food.
We dined New Years Eve, prior to the presentation of Beauty & the Beast.
Service was kind of slow, which may be forgivable account of the occasion. Thank goodness for the waiters support staff, as we only saw the waiter four times during our dining experience. The presentation was excellent, the servings were good. Also, the bar which we visited after the play could use many more bartenders......there were only two.
But, in spite of the lukewarm review, we plan on visiting in the future.
Happy New Year.
