The food and service are always wonderful here. However, we usually manage to get seated next to a group that is so loud that it's impossible to have a conversation. Still, it's a special place for us, and we enjoy going occasionally.
Anniversary & shared with friends. Service was excellent along with food that was served as ordered. Food was hot, fresh, and presentation wonderful
the side salads are wonderful....fresh and crunchy with great dressing...the burgers are delicious, as are the fries....and once again, we received terrific service from Michael.
Another great Lucile’s meal. We had the usual favorites...chicken fried steak and Lucile’s sirloin. They can’t be beat!
We visited for our first time on mother’s day for dinner. Our expectations were not high, but we expected better than your standard sit down chain restaurant. We made reservations, but it wasn’t very busy. The open flow of the dining room is nice and the large windows bring in refreshing light.
My wife ordered the short ribs, which seemed to have more fat than meat...and a hair. I ordered the chicken fried steak, which was good, but I wouldn’t say “award winning.” I had the sweet potatoe fries, which were pretty basic and had lost all heat by the time they got to our table. They tasted like your basic, grocery store, frozen bag fries. My wife’s wine tasted very vinegar-ish, which would imply it was opened a while ago. For the price, I was expecting better quality.
Our waitress was nice, but seemed a little inattentive and put out at times. Reciting the salad dressings, seemed like a chore. My beer bottle and pint glass both sat empty on the table for our entire dinner, even though I had finished it pretty early into the meal. I chalked it up to being Mother’s Day and maybe she had a long day.
They have a good reputation, so I’m willing to give them another chance, but our first experience was far from impressive.
Sadly, my halibut was overcooked. Several squeezes of lemon helped.
Mother's Day is busy, but this was a little much. Loud & Crowded. We had a reservation and were seated 20 minutes after our reservation time & then our table was in a major walking path. Spent about 15 minutes waiting for water before we could order cocktails.
The food is very good but we weren't expecting to spend 40 minutes waiting just to order our dishes.
Mothers Day dinner for 5 , spot on service, food was wonderful, unrushed. Recommend and time...Thanks
Mother’s Day brunch with 8 people. No complaints from anyone. Lucille’s is always reliable. Good food, nice selections and friendly servers.
A great place for Mother’s Day brunch!!
Overall, Lucilles is pretty dependable. Good food. Some things are really good and some things are just good. The hollandaise was too thick and creamy and came across gooey. The service was great all around! The key lime pie is fantastic as are the lobster rolls and many other items. Guess Im a little picky about my hollandaise....oh well.
Overall Perfect dining experience. Treated my Mom for Mother's Day! Exceptional!
I came here for a Mother's Day breakfast with my mom. The server had was very attentive and polite. The food tasted better than it was presented. I had the French toast with two eggs over easy. My eggs are slightly undercooked and my French toast was slightly overcooked.
Very good food as always. Can't go wrong, breakfast, lunch, dinner, all is good
The food was great - very tasty. Service is excellent and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. One of our favorite 'go to' restaurants when we're in Fort Worth!
We had family in town and wanted to go someplace different. This was the PERFECT spot!
This was a quiet Sunday evening meal with friends.
Excellent chicken fried steak!
Very good Lobster Ravioli.
Too expensive for what you get. Not great quality of food.
Wonderful to use Open Table j be seated when scheduled. Food & service excellent!
Went for Sunday breakfast. Nothing special or out of the ordinary. The building itself is quite cute.
opentable reservation worked great but that was the only good thing. Bug found on plate at table next to me. Food cold. Waitress not at all pleasant. Overpriced and disappointing.
This was our first time dining here. Everyone in our group of 6 loved it. Food was great and so was the service. We will definitely be back again!
a very quiet and pleasant visit...salad and burgers were great as usual.....service was wonderful as well.
A wonderful neighborhood gem. Delicious food, very generous servings, reasonably priced. A great go-to for a last minute meal or a family gathering.
Great restaurant! Here for Easter, glad we had a reservation, over an hour wait without one! Huge servings of comfort food!
Easter Sunday tradition! Lucile’s always great!
We enjoyed a wonderful Sunday brunch. The food was great, service excellent!
We love Lucille's!! Our waitress, Jasmine L., was fantastic. We go to Lucille's often and love the breakfast pasta supreme with salmon and it is no longer on the menu, so we always ask if we can order off the menu. Jasmine was great, very attentive and quick.
Easter was great
Our server(#335/Josue) was not good...Requested a knife as one feel on the floor and he never brought on...requested butter for toast and he never brought that...had to ask for water two times. Then on top of all of this we ordered the "famous Eggs Benedict" and the English Muffins had been toasted and held so long it was almost impossible to cut through them with a regular knife...very disappointed in what used to be one of my favorite brunch spots...We also requested the hash browns crisp and they came almost burnt!
Overall for an Easter Brunch not very enjoyable.
Lucille's is our go-to restaurant when the family wants to get together for a special occasion however I was kind of disappointed this time around because number one for six people we were seated at a very small round table with not enough Elbow Room and the coffee was very very weak as if it was actually tea and the sausage that I got with my breakfast didn't really taste like sausage. It actually seemed like the sausage was maybe turkey sausage?? not sure but not the sausage that I normally get when I order breakfast anywhere else. I'm sure we'll be back but not without a little trepidation from me. Just a little disappointed because I usually have a very good experience when I come here for breakfast or lunch.
Food was great. Service was great. Will go back.
We were seated almost immediately which is where the positive part of our visit ends. Our waiter was clearly slammed, handling tables on the patio, a large party near the patio door and us up near the bar. However a manager / assistant (?) was taking personal care of his friends that were seated next to us (after we were seated). Instead of offering aid to his staff and ensuring that his restaurant was running smoothly on a busy Saturday night - he was busy entertaining his friends. He repeatedly looked at us as we sat there with closed menus, becoming increasingly agitated. After 20 minutes we'd been delivered water and had been visited by our waiter exactly once. We were trying to be understanding of the waiters position but after repeated management visits to the neighboring table- all while ignoring us - we got fed up and left. Terrible leadership!
Been going to Lucile’s for years. Always a good bet. Weekend nights are louder than weekday but that’s to be expected. My wife had the rainbow trout which she ate all of but commented it was salty. My son had the fried chicken and said it was really good. I had the CFS which was good as always. I enjoyed the bleu cheese vinaigrette (house dressing) as well.
Lucile's is one of the most underrated brunches in Fort Worth. Ask for the breakfast pasta supreme... it's not on the menu, but it really is fantastic.
Great! Love the cherries jubilee!
My husband ordered the ribeye and I had the prime rib. Both were delicious!
