New England Classic! The Lobster Roll has been a maritime delicacy and staple in the New England diet for 85 years. The lobster roll has many variations. Lucile's has chosen to offer the Classic Roll because it accentuates the sweet flavor of the cold water Maine Lobster. Our Classic Roll has succulent chunks of Maine Lobster with romaine lettuce and our special Lobster Roll Sauce on a toasted Bakery fresh New England Style split-top roll. Served with dill pickle and homemade potato chips.
Chicken Fried Steak
Customer Favorite! In Texas, the reigning queen of down-home cooking is Chicken Fried Steak. Lucile's Chicken Fried Steak is a thing of beauty. It is a thick, juicy sirloin beef steak that we batter and deep fry crispy golden brown on the outside. Moist and tender on the inside. It comes smothered with our famous country gravy. Served with choice of homemade fries or sweet potato fries.
Silver Blue Shrimp
From the Sea of Cortez we have brought to you these five beautiful extra jumbo shrimp roasted in our wood-fired Oven. Sweet and delicious! Served on our char-grilled Cubano toast with roasted corn rice and Lucile's bay seasoned lemon butter.
Have been going to Lucile's for years. They are always great
Always great service and food
Great Service and wonderful food. The staff was very attentive.
Service was great
Some food items were not up to par this week. Depends on who is on the line.
Good food overall. The lobster bites appetizer was a little disappointing (flavorless) but the rest of the food was really good.
Fabulous! We Love Lucille’s!
You can always count on Lucile's for a great dinner. They are consistent in every area, from service to food taste and quality.
Meal was disappointing- appetizers were under done, pizza was under done and the lobster roll bread was soggy
It was Cowtown Marathon, February 29th, 2020, Brunch time! Super busy, but I made a reservation and so our group of four was sat about 5 minutes after the reserved time. The only issue was it took waaaay longer than usual for our server to acknowledge us (7-10 min.) and to get our drinks (about 7-10 min after the order). After that, everything went very well.
Lucile's is a stalwart, amazing place and usually 5 Star all-around restaurant. We will continue to patronize this place even if we have a less than superior experience one, random time.
Another great experience. Excellent food. I love just being in this historical building. So much character.
First time to eat here, we have been missing out!!! Every table was full!! Martini's were wonderful, Lobster was scrumptious and our server was great! We will be back over and over to try the entire menu!! Don't forget the key lime pie..it's HUGE!!
We started dinner with an Old Fashion and the shrimp deviled eggs. The Old Fashion had two orange wedges, instead of an orange peel. The drink was watered down with no sweetener.
The shrimp delivered egged were good, but the visual aspect was lacking. Picture a delivered egg with a cocktail shrimp planted in the filling.
The lobster bisque reminded me a cheese soup, with a few bits of what may have been lobster.
The lobster roll would have been good, except for the large amounts of mayo that covered the lobster taste. The other entree was the trout was dry and severed with limp vegetables.
I just had brunch at Lucille’s. I hadn’t been in about 10 years. It was excellent! I had the Lump Crab Benedict which had lots of crab. It was everything I had hoped for. The mimosa was excellent and well priced (I had the large) and to my surprise....they have plenty of parking. I want to come back and try everything in the menu!!
Great restaurant! The food was wonderful and the service was also great! The place was hoppin at 530pm when we got there and stayed packed. We had the prime rib, loaded baked potato and salad. It was very reasonable and delicious.
Great service and restaurant offers a lot of choices but I’d say the food is just ‘ok’ considering the price point.
Great breakfast. One of our favorite breakfasts in ft worth.
Neither food nor service was up to Lucille’s standard on this visit.
Excellent service, great food! They have menu that will satisfy even the pickiest eaters.
The food is always great at Lucile’s. We go here often. The decor is a bit tired, but the service is good and the food is great. We love it.
A great local place for brunch.
Great food and service .
We always enjoy Lucile's. Great atmosphere and food.
We did receive an email that we were a "no show" but we were there. Had to change our original reservation so that may have confused things.
Our waiter Zach was fantastic. The food came out quickly & was excellent. Looking forward to our next visit.
Our visit was at 11:30 am on a Saturday. Helpful friendly staff, patient servers (the other couple was running late). The food was excellent (red fish and poached eggs, and better than New Orleans light, puffy beignets ).
Great food, very organized on a busy valentine's Friday night. Made av recrimination on Open Table and they had us seated exactly on time. We had crab stuffed mushrooms, calamari, Chicken Alfredo, fried chicken, and tenderloin tips with bananas Foster for dessert... all were fantastic. No long waits for anything, especially notable on the busy valentine's night.
Had reservations for Valentines Day for 6pm, arrived at 5 minutes till and was seated 10 minutes after with a very crowded waiting area. Thumbs up for keeping with our reservation. Table was good, was very loud, too loud we thought. Service was decent, had to wait too long for drinks, twice. Food was prepared and presented well. Chicken fried stead was very tender, a little spicy and this made it one of the best I ever tried. The lobster thermidor was on the smaller than expected, taste was good but not great. The lobster & shrimp alfredo was very good. Also the lobster bisque was very good as well as the stuffed lobster mushrooms. Desserts, well the chocolate cake is big enough for 3 people and extremely good. The lemon pie is a 10, but the cherry jubilee was a disappointment. Bottle domestic beer, 2.25, that alone will bring me back, as well as wanting to try other items on their large menu.
Lucille’s is always good and everyone finds something they like. I got the lobster Thermidor. It was really good.
Great brunch spot. So many choices. My wife and I will have to go back several times to try different items that all looked amazing. We had the breakfast pizza (who can pass up a wood fired pizza?) and the corned beef hash. Throw in a biscuit and gravy for good measure ... because we wanted to try it also. We took half the pizza home. I would definitely recommend it and we will be going back for brunch again soon.
Packed place for locals endeavoring to eat well
Lucille's never disappoints!
We had reservations so our wait was very short. Our waitress was wonderful and the food was good, as always. Husband loved his steak. I had a very tasty lobster thermidor, but I was a little disappointed that there were only three very small bits of lobster for the price: a claw and two very small pieces. The flavor was excellent. However, we love Lucile’s.
Delicious as always
My husband and friend had the chicken fried steak and they said it was the best they ever had! I had the lobster roll and it was delicious!!!
Second time coming back and just in love with their food. The Ceasar salad! Omg! It had corn bread croutons! So good, with it had more croutons. The French toast! Doesn’t even need syrup. It’s fluffy in the middle and crispy edges. Wish it had more strawberries lol. Fried wings were juicy. Overall I’d say it’s my favorite brunch place in Houston
We love Lucille’s ! We eat brunch there every Sunday. The food is fresh The hash browns are homemade! The greeters know us now and are always welcoming. I always use Open Table to reserve a table ! When you have reservation you are seated on time
1st time visit to Lucille's! An older west Fort Worth establishment.. a spacious bar with anything you might want. Had the chicken fried steak..it was probably the best Ive ever had..tender..flavorful and perfectly crispy. I have already recommended Lucille's to some local friends. I will certainly return again soon.
Lobsters were okay.
Quality food & drink. Good service
We attended Sunday brunch at noon. It was crowded and somewhat loud. We had a reservation and were seated within five minutes. The waitress was outstanding — very attentive and quick. The food quality and taste were top notch. We were pleasantly surprised and will definitely be a place we return.
