We were seated shortly after we arrived. We didn’t get to sit near a window facing Camp Bowie, but the table we were placed at was also nice.

A good variety of choices on the menu. Very good fried green tomatoes and delicious crab cakes. Service was spotty at times but I'll log that up to the restaurant being very busy. At least the food was served right out of the kitchen so it was hot. Our only complaint for the evening was the noise level of the restaurant was high.

Lucile’s never disappoints, the menu is varied, and the service is timely, never intrusive. I always have the chicken fried steak and my wife has the fried shrimp. Both entrees were delicious. We always go to Lucile’s when we are in Fort Worth.

We are regulars at Lucile's, first Thanksgiving there, tables were crowed together, uncomfortable and difficult get into your seat. Food was very good, as always!

A friend and I went for Thanksgiving lunch, so they had a set menu with no deviation from that, but the food was great, the service was timely, and overall the price was fair in comparison to other places open on Thanksgiving. We will definitely be back to try their regular menu.

I had a bad experience with my meal for the first time and they were so understanding and let me order a new plate. Got it out so fast and it was great! That was my “worst” experience I love this place. Must try: lobster bisque, lobster roll, tenderloin, martini’s.

Great food and service. It had been awhile since we’ve dined there given we live in North Dallas area; however, it was delicious and so convenient to Will Rivers and Dickies Arena! Everything was terrific!

Had a great dinner here last night. Lobster bisque and chicken fried steak were delicious. The crust on the steak was so crunchy and good. Love the ambience in this old building. Service was fast even though it was very busy. Can’t wait to do back.

We love Lucile’s! We eat there every time we are in Ft. Worth, and are never disappointed. I usually lean toward seafood or that ahhhhhh-mazing roasted chicken, but this time I had the 6oz tenderloin, and I had it Lucile’s-style…bacon-wrapped in Cajun spices, blackened (totally new way for a steak to be cooked for me) and topped with creole sauce and lump crab meat. It was hands-down the BEST and most tender steak I’ve had at a restaurant ever! My boyfriend had the chicken fried sirloin, and said it was just as wonderful. Lucile’s always has top-notch service, from the moment you walk in the door; friendly and prompt!

Our favorite home cooking restaurant. The menus are extensive and quite affordable. Service is fast, reliable and professional. Servers are personable and friendly without being intrusive. It’s extremely popular and reservations are a must. Incidentally, the chicken fried chicken is huge and shareable. Seasoning is perfect.

The food was excellent! Cynthia was more than accommodating and we will return to bring some family and friends who have never eaten there. Cheers to the Purple Haze. It was pleasantly delicious and I don't usually drink Blue Curacao. See you soon, Lucille!

I understand that restaurants are loud when full. They were absolutely slammed. I have never been in a louder restaurant. We were seated by a party of 6 and a party of 10. Both tables were literally yelling at each other. I suspect many of them were over-served with alcohol. The food was great.

We got there on time for our reservation. They were running behind (20 min.). Once we were seated everything was great. Everything arrived in perfect timing. Our waiter was great. The food was great. We had lobster bites that were excellent and the lobster soup (delicious)! 3 of us had chicken fried steak and 1 had a Reuben sandwich. We were all pleased with our meals.

A fave! They changed the shrimp cocktail to a seafood cocktail with pita chips vs tortilla chips....bad move. We were able to get a shrimp only version. Wine list is lacking....no pilot noir....how dare they! Food selection is awesome and always good. They were swamped and the service was not up to normal, but we had a good time!

Most restaurants have acoustic problems, from the diner's perspective, anyway. A good crowd means a lot of chatter, and mitigating the noise level leads to slow table turnover times. Normally, Lucille's is tolerable, but this night, it was packed, and the noise level was excruciating. The food was excellent as always, and the service was good. We will return, but not on Friday night at Happy Hour, sitting in the bar area.

Ok, first of all, meeting Marlene, the last of the original crew was amazing! She only works on Friday and Saturday, and is worth every moment of your time. She was welcoming and helpful! We then got passed to Ashley, who is absolutely adorable! Service wasn’t our issue. That being said, we were celebrating two birthdays and ordered every single appetizer they had on the menu, except for the shrimp cocktail. We had three people in our party. nine shots of patron, and multiple margaritas, the large size. Our bill was approximately $250. The lobster bites might’ve been good except for they were chewy and kind of cold. The fried green tomatoes were not really hot and there was basically no seasoning. The flatbread pizza, we basically ate three pieces, and nobody ate anything else. It was no good. The goat cheese appetizer was pretty good, and the flatbreads that they sent paired perfectly! The mushrooms would have been wonderful, if they weren’t just sitting in a melting pot of butter and grease and, something. We are new to Fort Worth , and we’re told that this was a local gym. We have no problem spending the money, but this was in no way a gym, other than the employees!

A really good.family restaurant. Extensive menus, great service and well prepared food at affordable prices. This is a favorite neighborhood restaurant so reservations are a must as it will get crowded. The chicken fried chicken is huge and beautifully seasoned. Highly recommended.

We’ve always loved Lucile’s. They were not busy, but wait staff had difficulty keeping up w/the tables w/patrons. Food has gone from great to mediocre at best!!! This appears to be a MGT issue.

While the food was good, as always, the service was lousy. It took 50 minutes to get our food and then the manager argued with us about how long it had been. Other tables came in. Ordered, and left while we waited for our food. Of course, service there always seems to be either really good or really bad, so we do realize we are taking our chances when we dine there.

We had reservations at 12:30 on Sunday and we were promptly sat after arrival. We then sat at the table for over 45 minutes waiting on an appetizer to be delivered. When we denied the food and ask for our check, we were met with excuses that “Sunday is our busiest day, and this is normal.” The server also got a bad attitude with us after she fully ignored us the entire time we had been at her table. I have been to Lucille’s before and everything was great. However today’s experience was unacceptable. All that was needed was communication. Instead we were sat in a corner and ignored.

Lucile's has been going down for years, I'm sad to say. It started with a "revamp" of the menu, which wasn't for the better. The management is lacking. The staff was terrible the past few times we have been for breakfast. It's very disappointing. I hope they can right the ship before losing their entire customer base who expect good service and reliable food.

This place has been on my foodie list and did not disappoint! My husband ordered the CFS, he said it was his top 2 CFS ever. I got the tenderloin, the cut was a little thin for a 6 oz but the flavor and temp was great. Will be back!
