Chicken Fried Steak
World Class! In Texas, the reigning queen of down-home cooking is Chicken Fried Steak. Lucile's Chicken Fried Steak is a thing of beauty. It is a thick, juicy sirloin beef steak that we batter and deep fry crispy golden brown on the outside. Moist and tender on the inside. It comes smothered with our famous country gravy. Served with choice of homemade fries or sweet potato fries.
They have taken off béarnaise sauce, my favorite thing the whole menu changed very unhappy
We typically wait until the last minute to make our reservations - no change this year. Judging by the write-ups and photos and menu, we chose Lucile's. Our waitress was superb and never stopped for even a minute. We have already decided that we will be coming back next year!!!
Excellent place for Thanksgiving lunch Great service Good Food
Simplified menu for Thanksgiving Traditional Turkey & Dressing or Cedar plank Salmon Prime Rib or Lobster
Very good. We always enjoy coming here when we are in the area!
Fresh and delicious. Best lobster I’ve had in texas
Must stop for brunch or dinner after or before any TCU sporting event!
The cedar plank salmon was superb, and lobster bites did not disappoint. Two of our group got the angry lobster and loved it.
The food was good but lacked in flavor. I ordered the new surf and turf meal with a steak tenderloin with lobster. I wasn't impressed with the serving of lobster as it was supposed to be chunks of it. I didn't receive chunks, more like tiny little pieces which were disappointing. In closing, I will give them another chance, but for lunch only.
Zuriel was truly an outstanding server! He made our dinner and experience a joy.
Sad to see that the breakfast menu has downscaled
Great Food, as always!
Chicken fried steak was a large serving and so delicious. Our server, Christina was wonderful. Can’t wait to go back.
Lucile’s has consistently good food. I have been there many, many times over the years it’s been in business.
I will continue to support it.
I had the Australian sea bass , cucumber and tomato relish last night with new potatoes and zucchini substituted for rice that was to come with the dish. The meal was delicious! I was with 2 friends who ordered the salmon salad and the cedar planked salmon they were very happy with their meals as well.
Took a bit for the food but it was a busy time of the night and this is understandable.
All in all a lovely night at Lucile’s’s!❤️
First visit to Lucile’s during recent trip to Ft Worth, it was a wonderful experience! The entire staff took great care of our large party’s needs.
Food was exceptional & the wait staff did a great job as well.
Thanks, we look forward to dining at Lucile’s again next time we are in Ft. Worth!
Wonderful food - warm welcoming environment.
Anniversary dinner. Not ideal atmosphere. Way too loud and tables too close together. Inattentive service. Food was good.
Waitress could have been more attentive. She forgot my biscuit, she forgot to refill my coffee and she did not serve us water. Unfortunately she was in the kitchen so MIA for a good portion of my meal.
We were disappointed across the board, particularly because there were good reviews. The lobster bites and fried green tomato appetizers were really good but that was about it. The lettuce in my daughter’s Caesar salad was horrible. The angry lobster was about two tablespoons of lobster meat. My daughter said her pizza tasted like a frozen pizza and my wife’s flatbread lacked flavor.
We were also seated by a side door on a cold night and got a rush of cold air when we people entered/exited. When we asked the server if the door could be locked she told us she has never been able to figure it out and invited us to try.
My husband and I enjoyed our date night at Lucille’s. The service was excellent and the food delicious. It felt like a great experience rather than an ordinary meal. We highly recommend!
A staple of old Fort Worth . A local community restaurant with excellent meals and large portions . Fish is always fresh . My granddaughter at 2 loved the pink soup / lobster bisque and as a young adult still does . Never disappoints .
This is my go to restaurant when no one can decide what they want to eat. Food is always good and menu has good variety.
Staff was great, brunch was delicious and we look forward to returning for dinner!
I’ve been enjoying Lucile’s for years, & it rarely disappoints!
Food is decent but this place was packed and loud. Servers were stressed and rushed
Excellent CFS and great service. Online menu is more extensive than in restaurant menu so maybe a subset? Will definitely return to try other items.
Love the atmosphere, the food was amazing and the staff took care of all our needs.
Birthday lunch for lobster rolls. Best Lobster rolls and martinis in town.
As always, the food and service was excellent.
Where are the Dutch Babies?
Lucile's was a very enjoyable experience. The food was great, service was good. We went there for a good meal and an atmosphere where we could have a conversation. It delivered on all points.
Found this place on open table and decided to give it a try. Not bad at all. We loved the decor and ambiance. Food was good. We had received the stuffed mushrooms cold, this meant they are originally frozen but our server apologized and fixed the issue.
Would not order the stuffed mushrooms again but the rest of the food was great.
Their steak and lobster was very good. My husband ordered a 9oz and gave me a piece to try. Mouth watering!!!
I had the lobster and scallops Alfredo … super tasty!
We arrived a few minutes ahead of our reservation time and were immediately seated. The service was quick. Very nice waitress. All 6 of us really enjoyed our food.
At our dinner, the service was really excellent and all 5 of us had delicious entrees. GREAT job, Lucile's! We will be coming back.
Great menu, great food, very quick.
Everything was amazing! The food was on point, server very kind and attentive. I’ll be back!
Enjoyed brunch at Lucilles. Best chicken fried steak and eggs in town!
First visit and will return
We enjoyed all of our food. Only complaint would be that the menu online does not match actual menu
Delicious food with healthy choices reasonably priced. Very pleased with the service as well.
