The space is small and wonderful. Our server was responsive and thoughtful. The restaurant is right along the Freedom Trail. I would definitely recommend.
Waitress was the worst I ever could have imagined... just mind-blowing. Rude and cold.
Good food and service
Food was great, ambiance was steamy
We had been looking forward to going to this restaurant for awhile because it seemed similar to a restaurant we really love in New York. As soon as we got there, our drink and appetizer order was taken and brought to us at lightning speed. But then took about 20 minutes minimum to get our food to be ordered. We had finished the appetizer, the plates were cleared by a busser, drinks were low, and still had waited. We weren't served with bread either and when we asked for it with our dinner order, it was forgotten and came out AFTER our dinner had already come (which came out very quickly). But it also looked like it was a couple of pieces taken out of a Wonder Bread bag, had no olive oil, salt or pepper on our table like all the other tables did. Just overall, our table was definitely neglected in comparison to others, so I'm slightly disappointed. Our server was great... when he came over to our table. Given that it was Valentine's Day and the restaurant was busy, we are very willing to give the place another try but are hoping for better service next time.
Very lovely environment. Service was very helpful and responsive. Food was delicious and prices are surprisingly reasonable for the quality restaurant this is. Overall fantastic experience.
I got the lobster ravioli special and it was really good and filling, i almost ate the garnish! My date got the pesto tortellini and the portion was huge but in a good way, leftovers for days!
Delicious food ~ Cozy spot! Met friends from work there on a week night and had a great experience! I highly recommend the Pollo Lucia!
Excellent - the food and the service! Always a wonderful dining experience.
Made a reservation and still didn’t get set till 30 minutes later. Food was average and our service was slow
We had an excellent meal at Lucia’s. We were a little concerned that the restaurant did not have our Open Table reservation, but the hostess made it work for us once I showed her that I indeed did have a reservation. The food was great and the server was extremely helpful in providing recommendations on the menu. There were several large groups on the main floor celebrating birthdays so it was a very lively atmosphere.
Our server Ricardo was so attentive and the chef was more than willing to accommodate any requests for changes to the dishes we ordered. Meal was amazing!
We love this place! Good food is a given, but the atmosphere is very important & of course friendly service is a must! Lucia’s hit all those points perfectly! Our waiter Armando was professional & friendly. We had another great dining experience at Lucia’s.. 😊
Food and service was amazing. Owner recommended the perfect wine.
The atmosphere is very nice, and the sound level was very reasonable. Easy to have a conversation. Nice overall ambiance too. Food was delicious and fresh!
I love this restaurant, from the atmosphere to the wine list to the delicious food. My favorite entree is the gnocchi with truffle cream sauce. It is a wonderfully tasty dish.
We go to Lucia often when we go to Bruins games. The service provided by Christian and the entire staff goes far beyond expectations and the food and ambiance makes us feel like we’re back in Italy. Can’t say enough good things about the dining experience at Lucia Ristorante.
Excellent food and service. The fried stuffed veal chop was amazing!
Christmas lunch with nieces
Service was great, food was good (not great, particularly the bread!) but we were seated on the lower level which did not have good ambiance.
great food great service fair pricing
always enjoy dining here they do a great job overall
Always good food & personable service. Great people watching if you get a table in the window
The hostess was wonderful in giving us a nice table on the main floor as requested even though it was a bit of a wait. Server was courteous and efficient. Food came really fast which made us feel rushed but understandable on a busy New Year’s Eve. Overall it was good food, drink and a nice dining experience in the North End.
Great food, atmosphere, service was excellent, highly recommend
Have eaten here many times. It’s always very good. Just ate there on New Years Eve. Excellent food and service as usual.
Happy New Years to you all!
To healthy and happy year ahead!
We had an Absolutely delicious meal an experience last night! Diego! Thank you for being our waiter, your an absolute gentleman!
Coming to Lucia's for New Year's Eve has been our family tradition for 20 years. It's as if we are spending time with family!
"Happy 100th Anniversary"
It was not our first time at Lucia’s and it was always great. But tonight I’ve decided to never come back. There was a hair in one of our plates, a really long one. It can happen, no big deal, we sent the plate back and we got another one. No one at the restaurant came to apologize, not even our server, and we were billed for it. Typically, when this happens, a restaurant won’t charge the plate, they’ll give you a dessert, something. At Lucia’s, not even a word. I’m not dining at a place that runs like this.
Our waiter, Vinny was great! His recommendations for wine were spot on and loved the lobster ravioli! Thanks Vinny!
I always enjoy my meal and experience at Lucia, the food and service are top notch. Waiter was very attentive and helpful. Food was delicious
Everything was amazing. Christiano was very knowledgeable with his wine and food recommendations. Will definitely be back
Absolutely delicious meal. Would highly recommend. Our server was fabulous too!
Just a wonderful evening of dining. All our meals were outstanding. Certainly not your everyday eatery. I highly recommend Lucia!
Great place for dinner following last nights Celtics game! We had a reservation for 7:00 a party of 7 and were seated pretty quickly! Our waitress Kira was excellent and attentive despite how busy it was. Lucias has 3 floors making it one of the larger restaurants in the north end. The stuffed veal chop special was excellent our group had 2 that went with the special. The other 5 dishes were all good. The chicken parm was probably the only disappointment compared to the excellent chicken parm plates served at so many other restaurants in the Northend.
Would recommend and we will go back but not for the chicken parm. The stuffed veal chop was unbelievable!
Thanks Kira for the great servjce
We had a great night at Lucia Ristorante after the Celtics game. Very crowded in the entrance at the start but once we were seated everything was enjoyable, tasty, and moved along. We would definitely return in a future trip to Boston.
We come every. Christmas Eve and love the experience 🎅🏻
Food was disappointing. Did not taste fresh at all. Ordered fried calamari (stale and too salty). Pasta of the day (lobster ravioli) tasted like it was frozen food with a lot of cream on top, other pastas were also pretty disappointing.
All is all, way overpriced for the quality of the food...
One of the best in the North End! Great food, wine and outstanding service. Try the veal and seafood specialties of the house.
As always a fabulous experience at Lucia’s! It is our happy place for sure. Not just for special occasions anymore. Brian is awesome! We look forward to seeing him each time we go. His service is second to none!
A fabulous meal at Lucia‘s was only diminished by the fact that we were seated at a table for four that was more suited for a party of two.
I’m not sure why we were placed at this table to begin with and I probably should’ve asked to be moved.
Our server Ricardo provided excellent service.
Appetizers, entrées, and wine were all excellent.
Bus boy and Hostest speaking in a foreign language.I understand their language. They were insulting me.The food was fair to good but over priced. Overall experience poor.
