This was our 4th dinner at Lucia in a year or so, it had immediately become our new favorite, our first 3 dinners were perfect...all 5 stars in every category. Saturday the polish was gone, dinner took a little too long to arrive and there was just a little something off about the service and no specials offered and when I asked I received a slightly puzzling response and then at the end i asked about parking validation which I'd received before and was told they didn't have any stickers . .the food was still excellent but something feels off here, we will definitely come here again but we'll be a little apprehensive.
Great food and service.
Very good food. All four dishes were well received. Waiter was available frequently and responded quickly to requests. Wine list is a little limited. Parking validation is a bonus.
Restaurant was dead no people there during dinner hour and the server had zero personality seemed like he was depressed and did not want to be there at all. We actually just closed our bill after wine and went somewhere else for dinner
Average food at above average price. Probably won't go there again.
Lucia is a very pleasant restaurant. I have been there for dinner and brunch. The only issue I have is that twice my food has been overly salty - once it was a pasta dish and this time it was on sautéed spinach. Otherwise, the food has been great, the service is friendly, and the menu has a lot of great pizza and pasta options.
Waited well over an hour for food. Server rarely visited. Automatic 20% tip - which was not deserved.
We live in Snohomish but if we're in the mood for Italian this is the place we go. A gem of a restaurant near Green Lake with great food and easy parking. We love their Carbonara Pizza and Signature Spaghetti. Make sure to try the Focaccia.
AC very cold and uncomfortable
Ceiling light was right in your face
Plastic chairs (why?)
Paper napkins (why?)
Poor wine list
Food was fine but the ambiance was not at all as expected. Small changes would make a big difference. Wine list needs a big improvement. Doesn’t need to be expensive but needs some attention.
All very disappointing.
We really enjoyed our meal
This is possibly the most boring Italian restaurant I've ever eaten at. The menu is short, boring, and unimaginative. The food ingredients and flavors are not fresh (tastes like it comes from a packet), and presented without thought. The cooking style is American cafeteria - everything was overcooked. It's as though the chef/s have never been to Italy or studied Italian cooking (or even cooking). Very disappointed.
it was ok............................................. .. fggg gv
Food was good as was service, noise level was high making conversation hard.
Good food and service. Bistro
I came to Lucia for a birthday brunch. The staff was very attentive, and even hung up a Happy Birthday banner by my table. I had a large party, and they did a good job managing everyone. My food came out a bit cold, likely because it was finished cooking earlier than the rest of the party's entrees. This was the one lowlight of my experience, but tried a slice of my friend's pizza, which did come out hot, and it was amazing.
My husband and I went to Lucia during Seattle Restaurant Week and selected food off that menu. The food was delicious! We chose a petit filet and lemon chicken paillard and they were both delicious. The service was slow and I don’t know if it was super busy because of Seattle Restaurant Week. However we will definitely try it again. The setting and ambiance were very nice.
Lucia's is a great neighborhood cafe. Service was outstanding. We really enjoyed our pastas and dessert. People-watching was fun. We could tell that some of the people were regulars which is a great complement to the restaurant.
The food was amazing. The service.. not so great. The server made what would have been a 1.5 hour experience a 3 hour endeavor. Not sure if they were short staffed, but the restaurant wasn’t busy. It was a Monday night.
The coffee was fine, and the interior is nicely decorated, but the wait for our food was abysmal. It took about 30 minutes before anyone even took our order, and then another 45 minutes for the food to come out. When it arrived, two of our dishes had to be sent back (a frittata was still raw, and there were eggshells still attached to the poached egg on a benedict). A third dish had to be modified since they brought out the wrong side (we ordered a pancake and they brought potatoes). When the pancake came out 10 minutes later, it was still raw in the middle. I would not eat here again.
The food is really terrific with a great variety of seafood and pasta dishes. Think elevated comfort food. For an appetizer we had the crab and artichoke dip, which was amazing. (Although the portion looked fairly small, it was plenty for four people.) We were there on a Friday night, so it was pretty busy, but we were well taken care of. In addition, a member of our party was having back issues, and the staff was extremely accommodating of the challenges she was facing.
My partner and I love this place, the staff and management is wonderful, the food is super delicious, drinks are great, prices are moderate. Had an amazing chicken cutlet dish that was one of the best things I have had in ages. Definitely recommend.
Nice place, great people and good location. Went there to take a workmate visiting from Kuala Lumpur to a different neighborhood than downtown. Turned out great with a nice piece of salmon and good risotto!
Some good some bad. Sunday night 7pm completely out of salmon and snapper.
Disappointed we were not told they were out until we tried to order it. Hard to believe they were out of fish with a Whole Foods next door.
Ordered signature pasta which was soupy. Pear onion pizza was tasty. Good beet salad, Carbonara pasta very good.
Atmosphere is somewhat loud and hard bench seating.
Six adults, two kiddos, some wine and some great food. We had a blast and would come again!
I was expecting more. Pizza crust was tough and pizza wasn’t amazing. Was charged for some hard crostini when we asked if they had bread for the table. Place is definitely overrated. I wouldn’t go back.
Food was amazing and they have a great happy hour deal on the weekends, however service was incredibly slow and a meal that should have taken an hour took over two hours.
Sunday brunch... waited well over an hour for brunch for six people!. I will not be back to Lucia.
After being seated it took a while to be greeted. My order modifications were correct and salmon tasted good.
Server seemed spread thin, but was friendly.
Service here was bad. They was well understaffed on a Saturday
Excellent as always! Lucia’s has become my go-to place to meet with friends and clients. Service is always so genuinely friendly. It feels like a familiar place to be. Great atmosphere and hospitality. Food, especially the pizzas are authentic and made with good quality ingredients.
We loved the food, it was great! Our servers were awesome!
We went on Sunday, and kids eat free! It was a great spot to have brunch with our little one- if you book a table before 11 am, you’re likely for it to be pretty quiet.
Great modern space, food was exceptional
Staff was attentive and nice. Portions were large and fairly priced. Food was delicious. Drinks were tasty.
This place was such a pleasant surprise. They were lovely people and a spacious, beautiful location. Our waitress made excellent wine and food recommendations. We will definitely be back!
We have LOVED this place and was very disappointed to see the old classic movies not being played anymore, the mirrors they brought in have made it not inviting or that have that warm nostalgic feeling. They have removed some items from the menu that we came for as well as there special cocktails:(. There food is fantastic though, but not as fun to be at as before. We had excellent service and the staff should be recognized for that.
Very good food! Service was friendly, and attentive, if a little slow with drinks. Overall, very happy with the experience.
We were helped right away, everyone was extremely nice and welcoming. The portions were generous and I would definitely go back again. The chicken parmesan was amazing!
Great authentic Italian food! Everything on the menu is really good. The Red Snapper is unbelievable! Great restaurant. I highly recommend it.
My date and I had a wonderful time at Lucia. The food was great, and the service impeccable. I highly recommend it!
