Luceti's on 25th Avenue
Great neighborhood restaurant
We are a group of seniors who meet frequently for lunch, and Luceti's is our favorite spot. Good food and nice employees. This time our group of 8 was placed in a small private room. Our only complaint was having to request that the dirty dishes be removed when we were finished. Otherwise a great experience as usual.
Great food as always. Good service and help. Really a wanted place to eat.
Had a great waiter, Mario. The food was delicious......
You can’t go wrong at Luceti’s!! Excellent every time!!
We have always enjoyed our dining experience at Luceti’s. It a small, but enjoyable restaurant. With white tablecloths and a rose on every table, makes it special, but not stuffy. Our waitress was exceptional and food was delicious.
Our experience is always great at luceti’s. One draw back is we were there to celebrate our granddaughters birthday which we told our server and they brought the dessert tray to us and she picked the chocolate mousse. We were surprised that we were charged for it. At other restaurants it is always comped for a birthday.
Great as always!
My party included a birthday boy and the attention was terrific. Stacy is the name of our table waitress. She was knowledgeable of the menu She was helpful with my guests during their meal ordering. Stacy was quite professional and she kept her smiling during a very noisy half hour as she took our orders. Plus she was witty regardless of the very high noise level which was many, many decibels above normal conversation volume ranges. Maybe Luceti's owner or manager should consider posting humorous signs in the main dining room urging diners to keep their voices at low levels.
tasty, high quality Italian food in neighborhood restaurant. Our veal dishes were fork tender and the calamari appetizer could have fed four people. Highly recommended.
Always great cocktails and excellent meal. The service is always wonderful. Already looking forward to returning!
Great place to eat - wonderful staff, great food, you can't beat their ceasar salad
Some time ago my companion and I had dinner at Luceti's....a wonderful experience. So we thought we would try lunch. Waitress was inattentive...we finally had to ask for iced tea. Our meal was not served in a timely manner and was not served together, so one of us was eating while the other was not. Lasagna bottom pasta was so tough it could hardly be cut. People ordering drinks seemed to have no trouble getting attention from the waitress. After a 15 minute wait we were told decaf coffee was not available.
It's doubtful we will ever be back.
I have been going here for ever. Food is always good! Service is usually good but on this evening I felt very rushed by our waiter who seemed to be in a hurry for a Monday night. Crushed pepper ended up on my table cloth and not my dish. Had to ask bus boy for parmigiano cheese.
Waiter needs to slow down and provide a more personal experience.
I have always enjoyed coming here, but this time the food was just not good. Dry pasta, hard to get through. I let the server know and she said wonderful.
Great place to bring a date for excellent Italian dining.
Luceti’s is always reliable. Great food, service and friendly staff
Food was very good as was the service. When there is a full house, as that evening, it gets very noisy and crowded to move about. A pleasant evening nonetheless. Thanks....
Service was good but I was highly disappointed in my crab sandwich. First off it had Hollandaise sauce on it which is weird (I didn't order a crab Benedict) and it was open faced so in reality it was half a sandwich for $20? The raviolis and salad were good and my friend’s calamari steak was good.
We loved our meal at Luceti's. The food was great, service wonderful. We went during peak dinner hours and it was packed and a bit noisy. The host graciously put us in the other room off the bar which really helped (one in our party is hard of hearing) so this really was appreciated. We will go back if we are in the area again.
we were seated at the furthest table to the back wall in the side room and forgotten about for some time once we finished our meals. food was great as always but have noticed the portions increasingly smaller and smaller; would still recommend; our server was very kind and professional; she may have had too many parties to deal with at once.
We have been patrons for years and this was the worst experience for enjoyment or relaxation. We should have left because the three gentlemen sitting next two us were celebrating their golf game in shorts yelling so loudly that you could hear or talk. We know the noise level is always loud but this was torture. Management should use some judgment in controlling crowd noise when it gets out of control. Not certain whether we will be back.
Always delicious and great service!
It was very busy our drinks took a long time and two of the drinks were not correct. Enjoyed the food and was patient with the waiter since it was his first evening.
This wasn’t my first time to Luceti’s and definitely won’t be my last. The food is consistently good and we had the pleasure of having Stacy as our server, she was so friendly and outgoing and made the whole evening that much more enjoyable!
The management deleted our favorite wine from their list. My wife and I requested our wine to be available again. Within a month our wine was back.
Our server, Stacey, was fantastic. We will return again and again! Love this place.
Bartender forgot our food order
Bartender was also rude
Always the fine food and service but the noise level is unbearable.
Unfortunately, we did not have a lovely dinner this past Friday at Luceti's.
When my family comes into town, we like to go to Luceti's, because I live right around the corner and normally the food is pretty good. This was not the case Friday night.
I always get the Shrimp Scampi (it's my favorite) - it was so bland, had NO garlic in the sauce, who makes Scampi without garlic?
My dad had the Filet Mignon Medallions, were unpalatable. They looked like two big pieces of stew meat (gross). I ended up giving him most of my bland scampi.
My sister got their Scallops that were dipped in egg batter with a lemon wine sauce, she said her scallops were very chewy and that all she could taste was egg.
Our waitress did a phenomenal job of trying to make things right, which is why I am giving higher stars.
This is the second bad experience I've had at Luceit's in the past two months, guess I will have to find a new spot.
One of my all time favorite restaurants. Excellent food and service, fair prices, and convenient to where I live. Perfect place for lunch or dinner.
The food was excellent and the service was great
Another great dinner and excellent service
Food was excellent, service was Ok, overall excellent
Excellent shrimp salad and cannelloni. Martinis nice and cold. Can get noisy when it's a full house, but get a table in the back. It's quieter.
Overall good experience, but had some minor issues with mushrooms in my pasta sauce. Waitress did a great job trying to lessen the problem!
Food was delicious, as usual. Friendly staff and great service. Love this place.
The food was excellent. The service was also excellent. Parking is very difficult.
Luceti’s food is amazing. Their employees are very friendly. The noise level in the restaurant, however, is far too loud. It seems the restaurant could do something to help offset the noise, like tiles on the ceiling that help reduce noise.
I would recommend this restaurant to a friend because the food is so great, but don’t plan on going if you want a romantic conversation.
Add eating dinner at Luke Eddie's many times in the past had me there in a year or two but was very pleased the prices were reasonable all four of us had chicken but we each had a different kind of chicken and each dish was delicious the service was excellent the Ambiance was good I recommend this for anyone who wants a decent Italian dinner out
A neighborhood gem! You feel like you are walking into an old family place where you are welcomed like you have been there 100 times. The food is great and the wine perfectly matched. Not a bad dish on the menu.
