      The menu that is listed on the OpenTable app is not correct. Once I arrived for dinner I was given a menu that only had roughly 70% of the items that were on the OpenTable menu. I was very dissatisfied with this as when I pointed out the differences from the menu in the restaurant vs the OpenTable menu, the server replied, “I honestly had no idea and I have never seen any of the things on the OpenTable menu on our menus before “.

      This is far and away my favorite restaurant In Pittsburgh. I'm in Pittsburgh 5-6 times a year and I always make it to Lucca Ristorante. Service from Aria was fantastic and the food is as it always is, fantastic.

      The food was so wonderful there was complete silence as everyone began to eat. We had chicken Parm, mushroom ravioli, salmon, and baked rigatoni with sausage. Everything was cooked to perfection. I asked for salt and pepper (habit) but didn't use it as the food was perfectly seasoned. We went for lunch on a hot Saturday after the Fourth and it was cool and comfortable inside.

      We have always enjoyed our dining experience at Lucca Restaurant. The food was very good. The service was very good. The wine selection needs a bit of work both wine by the glass and wine by the bottle. We were happy to learn that Lucca will be moving to the South Side neighborhood of Pittsburgh.

      Our hotel restaurant was booked for a private event so I quickly searched Open Table for availability nearby and Lucca popped up. I booked a table and took a nice 7-10 minute walk over. It’s in an older looking brick building and has a lively little front porch patio with seating and more inside. There was a super cute little bar area and my daughter and I were seated in a very quaint nook for two. I thought this was place super cute. It was easy for us to chat and no one seated close by. The staff was great and the food and wine was too. We had gnocchi and meatballs and shrimp linguine. Unfortunately, we ate too much so we did not have dessert. This place was popular for locals and was hosting a few small parties. I really enjoyed it and would return on another visit to Pitt.

      Great food and experience. Noise level made it easy to have a conversation. Our server Clara was terrific. A perfect choice for Father's Day!

      Simply one of the best neighborhood Italian joints I can remember eating in... service is phenomenal and attentive, but not overbearing. Red sauce is as good as anything west of Philly/NJ/NY I've had in my career. Ridiculously cheap for what you get ... will return.
