      With its comfortable and casually elegant atmosphere, Lucca seemed a good choice for a recent business lunch. Unfortunately the chicken piccata was a major disappointment. Chicken was overcooked, artichokes were tough, and the massive quantity of capers made for sauce that was more vinegar in taste than lemony. I've had many good meals there, so hopefully this was a fluke, but I'd say let the buyer beware of this particular dish.

      Lovely outdoor seating. Order the house meatball appetizer and a glass of wine. Perfect.

      Over the years, we have enjoyed this restaurant. Our dinner this evening was over seasoned, meatballs were lukewarm, and servers were overwhelmed by several large groups. We will eventually give them another chance and hope this experience isn’t the new normal for this restaurant.

      My martini came warm; never had to ask for a martini to be shaken. The service, while attentive, was amateur—no implements with dessert or espresso. Food is normally great, but this time we found it a little bland—had to add salt. The patio is always great, and I’ll be back. I’m assuming some key employees were absent. I greatly appreciated the free appetizer.

      What happened to what used to be a fantastic restaurant? We had not been there in little over a year. Atmosphere, menus, decor felt tired and dated. It wasn't very crowded for a Friday night. Bruschetta was good but Arancini tasteless. Everyone's pasta meals were subpar and not the quality we are used to from Lucca. No complaints regarding service. The waitress was attentive and polite. We have always enjoyed Lucca but this last experience fell short.

      My boyfriend and I came here for our anniversary and loved it. Amber took great care of us! They have a varied wine selection at different price points. The caprese pasta was delicious and my boyfriend liked his chicken Alfredo too. We sat outside on their patio and it was comfortable despite a windy day.
